Good evening Ladies! Been working my fingers to the bone! LOL.

Wolffie - Not sure exactly why no BCP, but I'm definately not complaining. They just told me that on day 21 of my cycle that I would start Lupron. After about a week or so, I will have a "lupron bleed' and reduce my dose. After that I will start the stims, b/w, and u/s. I didn't do any injections except PIO for my FET and got a BFP. So I guess that's just the protocol my clinic has for me.

Lady J - We didn't tell anyone about out first fresh cycle, but gave in on our FET. Everyone was helpful, but I have had the experience of insensitivity. There was a conflict with something about the kids a couple of years ago and my husband's ex and I had it out. It pretty much boiled down to the fact that I was right and she was wrong. Her statement to me was,"You're not a mother and don't have any kids so you don't understand!!!!" Ever since then, that has been branded in to my brain and I have been bound and determined to have a baby. I've always wanted a child of my own, but that just sealed the deal. It just drives me crazy to hear that people are so rude and take no time to put themselves in other people's shoes! i just have to hang on to the belief that they'll get what's coming to them. One day.....

Jaydentd - I am so sorry your sono was so uncomforable. I didn't have any "pain" with it, but my DH hand had a lot of fingernail marks in his hands. I once had to have a biopsy of my cervix and i was as white as the sheet I was wearing. Same thing happened with my sono. I could take it, but my mind was saying "hey! stop it!!!" I raised up, my face drained of all blood, and after looking @ me, the nurse asked, "are you ok?" I was white as a ghost!

Just keep chanting this in your heads.... BFP...BFP...BFP is coming for me!
I hope to fill up the final section of the list with nothing but! Speaking of which, please let me know if I need to add or change anything on it. i want to keep it as up to date as possible.

Good night ladies! Time to let those little eggs sleep!

Hello ladies.

Welcome Jen!!! I hope everything goes well with your IVF. It is very exciting and at times scary, but hopefully we can help with the support u need. Welcome.

Shelby and J&C... thanks for the encouraging words.. :) Thats ok though, I really hope and poray that they don't have to go thru the heartahce that my mom is going thru with me... seeing that her only daughter was only able to give her 1 grandchild. I figured it this way... my DD is already going to be 11 next month... if I am not able to get pG no more... then I hope and pray that my daughter will be able to give me all the granchildren she can. :P

AFM... I talked to my RE last night.... apparantly, I will NOT be placed on Lupron for my FET. When I get my AF they will schedule me for FET and tell me what meds to start with. Most likely the Aspirin and Heparin. I think the Estrogen and Progesterone is done after FET. Well, I guess I just count down now. So now I pray that my Embie survives the thaw!!!
I am 32 yrs / DH is 34
PCOS/1 tube/ DH low sperm count
1st IVF cycle... Nov 2008 = BFN
2nd IVF cycle...Feb 2009 = BFN
FET... Sept. 2009 = BFN

Hey ladies! Just stopping in for a quick hello :) We paid the clinic today, so I am just waiting for AF, which should come at the end of the week. This means I should be able to call by Monday and officially get my schedule mailed. Oh, the fun times of actually wanting AF to show up :)

Shelbyrn - Love the updated chart! Thanks for taking care of us on this board!!

Thanks for the warm welcome! I forgot to allow my sig.

No children previously. We have been ttc for 4 years naturally before we went to a RE and found out both tubes blocked with fluid and I had a high FSH. Of course, looking back we wish we had gone sooner. Some of the RE's can really bring you down about success rates after 35 :(

So now we go straight to IVF. I really am a newbie with the whole IVF process so I may ask alot of questions :)

WELCOME JEN!

statsgoddess - I will be doing the AF dance all week for you!

Lady J - glad you got all the meds figured out with your RE! I will be praying for your little embie to survive the thaw. (pray for my two please!)

It's so nice to see that there are so many of us here now!

For all of you who will have to take some time off work for monitoring (the hours here and there add up), what do you tell your boss? I work in a school and even with getting the earliest appointments I will still be a little late to work in the morning. My old principal was very understanding but I did have to tell her why I was going to be late. I'm not sure how my current principal will react.

....throwing lots and lots of sticky baby dust to everyone!

Well ladies, it is looking more and more like I will officially be joining you. E2 went way up, and RE wants me to increase lupron from 10 to 20 units and go back for u/s and bw in a week and a half. I don't know what to think. I am waiting to talk to RE on the phone because I have a lot of questions and concerns. No matter what, it looks like I will not be ready for FET on aug 20, and at this rate, I will be lucky to squeak in for september. Ugh, I am so mad.

JenNJ - Welcome!!! Ask all the questions you want. Usually, someone on here has been through most anything, and trust me, we've all asked question after question. That's what we're all here for. :D And don't worry about being over 35. We had our DD with the first IVF at 36...and we're trying for #2 at 37. You can do it too!! PMA!

CT_Michelle - I'm so sorry you're being delayed again, I know it's very disappointing and frustrating. But I am glad you'll be joining us on this thread.

Sticky baby dust to all!!

Michele - SO sorry! ((HUGS)) You have every right to be mad. I think I would be throwing a tantrum! Have they had you on BCP before starting the Lupron? When my last cycled was canceled they changed the BCP I was on to one that was stronger (not sure what that means exactly). Ugh, I am So sorry.

turtle - taking this all one step at a time is the best thing you can do. the first cycle can be very overwhelming. I am hoping and praying that you will only need this one cycle for your BFP!

'My oh my, what a wonderful day!' NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry, just had to get that out. I have been dealing with printer problems ALL DAY  . Finally had to turn it over to DH. He's still working on it! Thank goodness he's good with electronics.

Turtle - It's about time! haven't heard from you in a while. Great news about AF, BCP, & Lupron! Step by step is the best way to go. I love the PMA!

Michele - Sorry to hear you are still having E2 trouble :( . Will keep my fingers crossed for you! If things don't work out, you have a home here!

Statsgoddess - Still dancing for you!!!!!!! Let us know about your schedule ASAP! This is so exciting! :D

Lady J & Wolffie - I have so much faith that you 2 will have the healthiest (and very sticky) of embies thaw.

Wolffie - Good luck with the "excuses". I'm not much on creativity. I just say "I have something I have to do" and make everyone wonder. Drives them CRAZY!!! LOL

Jen - Ask away! We are all here to listen, educate, and support each other. There is no one else who understands your situation than those of us who have experienced it. So glad you are here!

And to Stlgirl, Sharishu, Mjay, Miyaya, Malya, Jaydentd, J&C, & Cheryl: Keep up the PMA and let's get this party started!!! 8)

shelby- you are so sweet to keep up with all of us. no you have not missed it. i'm still on lupron and don't go in for bw and u/s until the 10th. hopefully that's when i'll start stims. but i'm reading all the difficulty people are having getting suppressed on lupron lately. ghost suggested that it could be a bad batch of the generic, which is exactly what i'm taking. i don't have any side effects, so know i'm wondering if i got the same batch as everyone else and i won't get suppressed. (sigh), the things we have to worry about through all this...i won't let it bother me until i know there's something to worry about.

michele- i've been following you on the other threads and i am so pissed for you. i would have hit the fan just b/c the doc didn't call me back right away. stay strong and take it a step at a time- like turtle said. when i was on BCPs i just repeated "one pill at a time" every night. i'm doin the same on lupron. you will get there!!!!!

AFM- Still doin great on lupron, i feel totally normal. but now i'm wondering if that's a problem. i will be in D.C. for a few days and won't have access to a computer so i'll check with everyone this weekend. i'll be thinking of all of you. keep up the PMA!!!!!!
