2nd U/S

Post by barken »

Just had second U/S, both now have a heart beat. :D We have been released from the Clinic and now go to our OB. Dr. was a little concerened with one, as its yolk sac is a little large. If it is not one thing it is another. Now we need to look up what is normal and what is not. We do have an appointment with the OB next Tuesday, so we only have to wait 7 days to find out what they think.

I wanted to share my third beta after my 6 Looooong days in waiting. Number was 4380 and my RE says they were hoping for somewhere in the 2500 range! I am hoping I can relax a bit now and trust that it's actually true and there is a healthy baby in here!! Ultrasound is on the 10th...

Personals later, but my good wishes and happy thoughts are with everyone!

DillysGirl Very Glad to hear about your happy beta #!!! Now for more waiting...I don't think it will ever end!

barken and shelby- Yay for 2nd u/s!!! I read another post on here today about a large sac (or maybe it was a different site) anyway the Dr. said that the baby will normally grow into it and it was probably nothing to worry about. Hope that helps a little!

one of my little beans had a bigger sac than the other one, but I was told that was fine and it had a lot to do with the u/s probe placement.

Had a good day yesterday as far as my sickness goes. We even got to go to my favorite Italian restaurant. The rolls they bring out are covered in chunks of garlic and my mom says I smell like it for 3 days after I eat there! LOL! It is so worth it!

DH on the other hand, did not have a very enjoyable day. We have hardwood floors and he was running to answer the phone (in just socks) and hit his 2 little toes on our aquarium stand. We thought he might have broken them so we had it x-rayed and gladly it's just going to be very sore, bruised, and swollen. I felt so bad for him!

It was soooo amazing to hear and see the heartbeat, something we've never experienced before...soooo very exciting!!! :D I am still floating from the excitment. DH says he's going to wrap me in bubble wrap now for the next nine months. lol Oh, and due date is June 20th!!! Father's Day!!! You were right Melanie!!! I have my next u/s next Friday the 6th with my OB/GYN. My RE released me...kinda sad but good.

Hey everyone! I am 8 weeks pregnant today and finally broke down and bought me some maternity pants. Boy, are they comfortable!!! They are like heaven compared to those darn buttons! Had another good day today and hoping that i am coming out of this slump. I need a break! Right now I am exhausted because I didn't take a nap today. Sending well wishes your way and will talk to you soon! Take care, Shel

Hey Girls, Sorry I have been MIA the last several days. I wasn't feeling too good. Yesterday was my worst day yet, just felt so tired, and I was a little nauseated. Monday I was just plain tired from my crazy wedding weekend. I guess that shaking of the booty caught up to me
Monday I was really crampy and had some light brown discharge. I called RE and nurse said it was probably Ok. She called back after talking to him and said I could come in tomorrow for u/s and blood work, but I want to keep my Friday appt so DH can go.
I have still been cramping quite a bit with the discharge and wonder what is normal. I figure at this point there isn't much that can be done, so I'm not too worried. I know some cramping is normal. My other symptoms tell me all is well. I'm looking forward to hopefully seeing two little heartbeats on Friday.
Shelby- I looooove the update page. The bling is the best part. Thanks so much for doing it. I was hoping someone would, but had no idea how to do it.
Amy- Congrats Girl! I am soooo happy for you.

I'm going to leave other personals out for now. So sorry, but I am so tired and crampy. Just want to lay down. I know you guys know how I feel.
Take care and talk soon  Melanie

Hey ladies! It is so exciting to read about all the wonderful news you have found out at the ultrasounds.
Barken-everything should be fine. Let us know what your research found.

AFM-I cant wait til my U/S on the 11th. Somebody send me some twin dust cuz DH and I are really hoping for twins....but of course we will be happy with one healthy little baby. Eveything else is ok. I get neasuas at nite and a couple of cramps when I get up after sitting a while. Im also fighting a bad cold and sinus infection. Which is down right depressing cuz I want to enjoy my first few weeks of pregnancy. :(
Luckily, I teach at a 4 day/week school, so I get to spend the next 3 days in bed! Woo hoo!

melanie - I had brown spotting and cramping last weekend. RE also told me not to worry - but you just can't stop thinking about it. For me it went away after a couple of days. So you shouldn't worry just relax a lot and no sports or exhausting shopping trips :-)

AFM- we had our 3rd u/s on tuesday and it looks like a little Angel - it has its yolk sac on top which really looks like a halo on the u/s. we also saw the heartbeat again. I can't wait until we can hear it.
After next weeks u/s we are going to tell our parents, its so hard to keep it to myself but RE said it is best to wait until you saw the heartbeat 3 times - so I am exicted :-)

Hope everyone is doing fine with all the morning sickness :-)

Kiwi - You describe your little angel so well! When are you due? I hope in June so you will hang around with us!

Kala - lots of twin dust coming to you! I'll try to send it without all the m/s dust that comes with it! Yuck!

Melanie - Hope you feel better soon!
