I was wondering that myself. I'm 13.5 weeks, so on the border. I'm waiting until after my next doc appt. (just shy of 15 weeks) to let the cat out of the bag, although I'm going to a party tonight and I know my friends will think it's odd if I don't have a beer in my hand.
Oh - and I had a CVS done a few weeks ago and found out I'm having a girl! I have a 3 yr old daughter, so hopefully most of the clothes will carry over (although my daughter is October and this baby will be March, so totally off season!).
How is everyone feeling? I'm jealous, b/c I know alot of you guys didn't have many symptoms. My morning sickness and fatigue are abating, but definitely not completely gone. I'd love to plan a "last one for a long time" solo vacation with my husband (not sure if the grandparents will be willing to watch the babes when there are 2 of them), but want to make sure I'm feeling totally better before I commit to a date.
Hope everyone is doing well. And sunshine and stars - I have no problem combining with another board. There just aren't many March babies, huh?
Hi all, great to hear from you. I have just returned from an overseas vacation to New York and had a blast. Had this trip book well before the pregnancy occurred. I think that having it to look forward to may have contributed to my pregnancy success.
Anyway, our little embie turned 16 weeks today. I am definitely starting to show (have been for weeks) but I have felt no movements yet. Cant wait till I feel something. I think it will make it seem more real. Have any of you felt anything yet?
I have still been lucky with symptoms (sorry Jeandawga) and have not really had anything to speak of except getting bigger and some tiredness. Hopefully the rest of the pregnancy stays problem free.
I had to tell people because I was really finding it difficult to hide the belly. I was fairly slim before so kids I teach were starting to ask questions. It was a relief to have it out there finally.
Anyway, I am pleased to hear everything is going well for all you guys. And Sunshine and stars I think we can safely say we are out of our first trimester!!! Yey
Take care

I'm on my 2nd trimester any suggestions on dying hair. I have so many whites in the front of my hairline that I hate seeing in the mirror.
Any suggestions?

Hi Annpage,
I was told it was ok as long as the dye doesnt touch the skin. I get foils so only the hair gets painted. You could try that.

Hi everyone-- Congrats on being out of the first trimester, and into the second! Woo-hoo!
I have been checking in periodically here-- all is well, hopefully, with me -- I have a medical scan on Friday to check for problems, birth defects, etc. Trying not to get stressed about it. We might be able to see the gender...which would be neat.
Best wishes to you!
