Kynlee,
Have only heard of Ugly Coyote, but know it's a romantic comedy lol..."I Need You" by Leann Rhimes would be a hit! :D Okay you gotta tell me someone is bringing the extra camera to record this to post on Utube! lololol.
Have fun (as you know) I can hardly wait to hear more! :D
My mom works for Delta and just booked me for a Saturday flight to Altanta,GA. So I'll get to see her and meet dh at the airport up there. A little bittersweet, with so many memories of stuff happening at that airport. Last time I was there, I was flying home from Chicago and met my Mom at the airport (where we got to tell her in person that I was pg), but we only know God works in mysterious ways. All we can do is we move forward with the power of prayer and completely put everything into His hands. We know 11 days will certainly fly by, compared to 6 weeks but we've already gotten this far! :D

Wow today was the most unusual day at work. My co-worker talked her way out of traveling to Birmingham for training purposes and represent our branch, said she didn't feel comfortable driving in Birmingham, and so I volunteered to go in her place. I love getting out and going places, plus I have family in Birmingham and would love to see everyone! Plus my husband's best friend is getting married that weekend, so I'm now thinking I could just ask off for that Friday and maybe fly from B'ham to Atlanta. I know I would lose a day of my vacation time if I ask off for Friday. More than anything I need to get away from here, and spend some time with family I rarely see. I would need to find out if Enterprise car rental would allow me to dropped off the car at a different location. It should be interesting to make this business trip more of a chance to just get away! Ok, what ever happened to Calgon take me awaaaayyyyyyy...See I'm already losing my mind! )

Hi Kynlee,
I'm thinking of 80's prom stuff as I write this tonight, b/c it's approx, 5pm on a Saturday night with your sister's wedding! Makes some of us want to break out "The Wedding Singer" this weekend too, lol Julia Goolia! We only have 3 weeks left until the big weekend in Altanta, but I've still got to get Friday approved with my boss. (If not I can still fly up on Saturday for the wedding.) But it would make things much easier to take Friday off. Besides, I know we also get to make up "drive time" on the road (11 hour round trip). Therefore it would be nice IF he lets me off without requesting to use a vacation day, will definately be worth debating for :-) Well, better get something grilling for dinner tonight! Neighbors joining us for dinner tonight and we really enjoy having them over! Please keep me posted...Love to hear more about your sister's wedding!

Although we were up till midnight Saturday night with our neighbors, I still managed to set the alarm clock for church this morning and it took everything I had to get my behind out of bed, but felt so good to get back in the swing of things.
This morning we studied Proverbs 3 and one of my favorite verses:

"Trust in the LORD with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight."

For me, it's so easy to get so caught up in trying to control everything that happens in life, maybe that's my biggest weakness. My trust in Him should be stronger than this. Some things cannot be controlled, some things in life aren't guaranteed. The best I can do is pray more and try to change my perspective of life and be content with what I already have. It doesn't neccessary mean we give up on our dreams, but through His word we grow stronger through Him, and learn to bring peace into our daily life. This is going to be the biggest obstacle--changing my ways, but it all starts with prayer!

Sunshine- My sisters wedding was awesome :) I love that movie Wedding singer :) i missed church this sunday shame on me I couldnt get up after the wedding... But you are right trust in God... Put all your faith in him and he will make things happen :) Believe me I am far from perfect I try to live the right road but sometimes I sway, I have been trying really hard lately to get closer... I put all my trust in him, I know pray works you have to just believe... It may take us a few trys or something else may come up (adoption etc) but our familys will happen :)

Almost two weeks since I've posted here, but been reading up on everyone on here lately. So many are starting to get in the results from January cycle and it's a bit nerve-racking and I'm not even cycling until June. One of the girls posted on our IVF forum a topic that many of us have considered: Should I consider changing clinics?" From that I found a link to a web-site on the Clinic Success Rate: my own clinic only had a 36% success rate, giving me about a 1:3 ratio. With that said, I read about some many going through as many as 6 cycles, before having success with IVF and that perserverance is just mind blowing. We already know anything worth having in life is not meant to be easy, but more than anything this tells us we cannot give up! With this said, my prayers are with each of you in this journey tonight.

Hi Kynlee,
Women's and Infant Hospital in RI, from what I gathered the study was based on 234 cycles. For under 35 years of age the SUCCESS RATE is 40.1 with 2 embryos, but the bar raised even a little higher for women >35.
Main Diagnosis at this clinic: 40% unknown, 14% male factor; 9% endometrosis, 5% tubal....

I hope someone else can interpret this better than me, but I gave it my best shot! BTW, how are the lupron shots going? DId I read on another post that you were concerned that right after ER, aunt flow is scheduled to come. When do you start progesterone? It usually will delay your cycle... Certainly worth asking your RE, if you haven't already? :D

Well I better go pack, it going to be a very busy week! I leave tomorrow for training in Destin, FL and then drive into Birmingham, AL tomorrow night. More training Wed and Thurs and then drive to Atlanta, GA and meet Michael at the airport and then stay at some Country Club for the wedding, but as long as there is a spa I am happy! We need some R&R

Take Care of you!

Sunshine- Thanks for translating that for me, but does that sound like good odds at my clinic???? Lupron is going good, just seems like forever before I start Follitim... Yes I believe A/F will arrive soon after E/T but my Dr seems to think not to worry it will not affect anything... I am just keeping my Faith in God it is in his hands :) Sounds like you have a busy couple days, Enjoy your weekend have fun at the wedding :)

Kynlee,
Sorry I have been away for a week or so. With the clinics, I honestly cannot make out if I am with a good clinic myself. Maybe we tend to base it on our personal results with the RE. My selection is limited here too, and would have to drive 2 hours to find another one if ever decided to change. But more than anything we know this one is board certified and he has years of experience.

I just called my clinic and my RE's assistant won't be in until 10a. I'm very concerned since I'm 2 weeks late and both pregnancy test I took this morning were negative. Thinking something is wrong with me and I'm only 34. It's the scariest feeling, and I'm terrified that I'm broken, Maybe just "broken-hearted" but need the doctor to provide some answers. I took 3 weeks worth of bc back in December and got off it on January 9, just so I could have a cycle and last cycle was 1/11. Quit bc altogether since our plans had changed with the IUI...Maybe it's all psychological since I know my surgery is supposed to be next week? But something HAS to happen soon...

Since both hpt came back negative, they didn't recommend labwork. My RE agreed with the assistant to "wait it out" and if I happen to start cycling right before the surgery- it would not be cancelled. He doesn't want to give me any meds except Celebrex to help with the pain and some antibiotic to take afterwards. Right now I'm in knots and I am sick to my stomach again (making this the 4th time today.) Sorry I know "TMI" but I've never been this late before and the thought of cycling right before the surgery is mindbottling! Laproscopy has been scheduled for 8 weeks, so it wouldn't be right to reschedule it now.

Thanks Kynlee for asking about the wedding. It was great, the bride rode up on a golf cart while golfers kept playing... Iremember thinking please don't knock out the bride with your titleist! It was a sweet Valentine wedding and the bride wore a ruffled dress with dorothy shoes! DJ that had us all line-dancing by the end of the night, and with an open bar it didn't take much. lol Overall we really enjoyed the whole thing and I even ran into a classmate from '94, omg how we change! Yikes remind me to never attend one of those reunions things ever!

Anyway hopefully everything will calm back down at work. I absolutely don't like going back to work to find office politics going on. There seems to always be drama going on. Even when I was a way for training, I was getting phone calls about this or that happening. At least I'm in the loop, but I don't like hearing one-sided stories and of course I cannot say anything b/c then the others will know who called and told me. I'm praying for something good to happen tomorrow! Also I'm praying for your upcoming procedure next Friday with the ER. Keep us posted on everything! :D

Today was the day that I almost literally drowned in work. It was the worst day, someone came in and deposited 119,000 in cash and as I was handling the money I noticed one of the bills was counterfeit, I almost died. As much as I am committed to my company, I feel like this is the last straw for me. Don't know how much longer I can hang on, but it's getting where I find mistakes nearly every time I turn around and the whole teller line with operational procedures including the vault is on my shoulders. I need a long break, and a change but I also need this job since it helps that my dh doesn't have to worry about medical insurance. Xould it be that I don't do well with change? I had a job interview lined up for next week, but today I called her back and told her I didn't feel it would be ethical to call out of work when I'm the one who has been there the longest with perfect attendance. She agreed that we could meet next week when she was back in town. I know sometimes we have to do what's right for our own good, but these ethics is too strong and I felt guilty about calling in just so I could check out a possible new job. The interview would of been held 2 hours away, and my conscious would of killed me. Sometimes I wish we could all look into a crystal ball and foresee our future, but realistically know if we want a change we have to take the intitiative.
In the mist of all this, I can get so caught up with wanting to find that perfect job out there, that I lose track of what really matters...Having that family we all so desire! That's probably another reason I turned down the opportunity, if I can hang on, it would mean taking some time off for upcoming procedures and maybe that sounds ridiculous, but that's more important than any job.
