a question for you - were you on PIO your last cycle? or suppositories? thanks!

Lyd-I was on suppositories, twice daily. That is one of the changes we are planningfor this cycle. We are considering increasing the suppositories to three or four times daily or PIO or maybe a combination. My RE says that the suppositories have been proven to work the same a's PIO but that he is willing to do whatever I want if it makes me feel better about how the cycle is going to go.

I am updating the Fall Roll Call tonight but I am still holding our hope for tomorrow for you so I won't be adding you until you tell me to. I'll be praying for sine Beta doubling for tomorrow. Sending you lots if love.

Hi ladies just wanted to check in and see if everyone is having a good week. Lyd10 I hope your beta improves today, sometimes these things just have a way of working themselves out. Thanks for posting your story, for someone who has never gone through IVF, it was informative for me. Because of my age and the financial cost of this I feel I only have one shot. I am trying to drop 30 lbs by early November to be physically in better shape for this. I am currently working a temporary job to offset the cost but I have to get up at 3:50am to get to work by 5am so I find most days I'm too tired to do any type of exercise. I plan to take a leave of absence from work for the month of November, so if it is not a BFP for me, then I can have a job to go back to, to save for a round 2.

We - you have no idea how badly I needed to see that hope quote today. Thanks for posting.

Tomorrow I have my appt to get the results of all my testing and to see if my RE thinks it is worth it to try again. I want this so badly that it is all I can think about. Today my sister told me that she and her husband are expecting #2. While I am so happy for her, I can't help but feel sorry for me. The thing that makes it even harder is that she and I both started trying for children at the same time. Now she has a beautiful little boy who is 1 1/2, and another on the way, and I am still desperately trying. I get myself caught up in this terrible thought process... It is my sister and I should be so happy for her, but I am not. Then I feel guilty for feeling that way. I think to myself what is wrong with you, this is your sister!! I just feel so sad. Today is not a good day for me mentally. My hubby must have had a psychic moment because he sent me flowers at work today just because!! I want nothing more than to make him a father. Why is this so difficult for us? I am so glad I have you ladies to vent to. You are the only ones who truly understand. Thanks for reading my rant.

Kiminsh (Kim)-I am glad that you found this weeks quote to be inspirational for you. It wa definantley inspirational for me so I had to share it with all of you. This journey is very difficult. And we have no idea why this happened to us and never will. I mean, we may get the medical reasons why but we will never truly know why we have been faced with this difficult challenge and others have not. I can tell you that you ate not alone in sometimes feeling jelous or angry yet other have it easy and you have it so difficult. Even with your own sister, these are normal feelings. In the end you love her and in your heart you are happy for her. So don't burden yourself with guilt over these feelings. I wish I had the simple answer. I wish I could press the EASY Button and make this miracle happen for each and everyone of us. But all I can do is pray. Pray that your prayers will be answered. Pray that your dreams are realized. And this I will do everyday. Sending you much love and peace in your heart.

AFM-I thought AF was over with today but it was a cruel trick. I woke up this morning with nothing. Even called my RE because I was concerned that AF had only lasted 4 days. Granted it was an awful 4 days but still only 4 days. I thought that if AF had left so soon then that may delay my Hcg levels from falling. However, all I had to say was that AF was gone for her to show her ugly head this afternoon. Very strange. This has never happened before but AF is still here. I guess because of the MC I should have expected things to be a little different this time.

Hi ladies,
Just wanted to let you all know that I am always thinking of you and can't wait until we all get closer to our BFP's.

AFM-AF is almost gone. I have an appointment this Friday for another Beta. I sm praying that my Hcg level will be zero but not sure what it's going to be. My RE did warn me that the drop in Hcg levels after a MC is quite dramatic unitialy but sometimes tends to take a while towards the end. So all I can do is pray and wait patiently.

sorry if i missed anyone but im praying for all of us everyday.

AFM: i may be doing an unmedicated IUI on friday, im not hoping a lot , i know the chances are less than 10% , finally it is ONE egg after a failed fresh cycle and all the stim meds etc. so i don't know if my body is healed enough... but me & Dh just can't to wait till Sept. so we decided to maybe try it, it won't hurt after all.....

Hi ladies I got my prescription today, I just need to get it filled, even though I will not be starting until first week in November, I just wanted to ask any of the ladies out there who have been through this before if this looks about right what they have prescribed me:

Gonal F 450iu Vial : 5
Pregnacare Conception 30 Tabs
Cetrotide Injection 0.25mg : 5
Repronex 75IU : 10

I guess I thought there was so much more meds, not that I'm complaining, just trying to understand. Thanks for any help and I hope everyone is having a great week.

Tamera-unfortunately, I am not very familiar with the meds that have been ordered for you. When I did my fresh cycle I was on Follistim, Menapure, Ganirelix, and in the end I was asked not to use the Hcg trigger due to OHSS so I triggered with Lupron. Of course I was also on the BCP before starting all the meds. Hopefuly someone els on this board will be familiar with some of the meds you will be using. I sm so excited for you.
