Hi all
Checking in wow there are so many of us! Feel a bit in limbo land at the moment as I don't start downregging until 14th. Traci, ny treatment is costing £5,500 for the donor and that's without drugs!! and we have to pay £1000 if she decides to keep the eggs, not sure this is very fair, basically we can be out over £1000 and not even get to E/T. Anyway trying not to think about that. Looking forward to starting treatment but NOT looking forward to the down regging as I had horrible side effects and became really depressed. Think they are planning E/T around 11th Mayish maybe a bit later. Hope everyone is doing OK early days for most of you, wishing you all the best and watching progress!
Traci you start tomorrow?
all the best and fingers crossed for a great batch of eggs!
Love and hugs to all
Aly

Hi Aly,

Nice to see you are a fellow DE cycler this month. I start downregging on Monday and am due to EC (well not me personally) and ET w/c 11/5 so it seems we shall most likely be starting our 2WW at around the same time.

Is this your first DE cycle? It seems that your clinic is very expensive as we are paying about £3500 inc drugs. Its a scarey thought that we can still be out of pocket if they keep all their own eggs but like you I am trying not to think about that. I am praying that our donors get a bumper crop and that gives us a reasonable selection to give us a good chance of success as well.

Hi to everyone else as well. Hope your cycles are progressing well.

Love Allison

Hi all,
I was just wondering how long different people have been scheduALED FOR down reg. I am 35 days which seems a very long time when part from that have a relaxing weekend.

Had a hormonal outburst yesterday with my very painful af but recogn dh has got off pretty lightly so far- also my acupuncture seemed different I really felt it, strange.

Anyway havea good weekend.

Hi Buddies
Went to clinic this morning for my day 2 bloods and scan and everything looked fine on the scan my lining ok and when I phoned later for my results the bloods were fine so we start injecting in the morning at 5am!! as dh starts work at 5.15 so we inject before he goes to work I 'd rather do that then inject myself its just a pain getting up on his day off but we just go back to bed :D our niece is sleeping sat so we will have to be quiet when we get up to inject sun morning.
Well I have now broke up from work for 2weeks bliss.... so really this treatment as fallen just at the right time.
Hope everyone else is ok I will try to reply to everyone next week when I am off work I am planning on getting all the housework done so I can relax on my 2week wait and of course meeting my friends for lunch a few times
Just had my last coffee and choc as Iam now caffiene free til test day :?
Hope everyone as a good weekend

hello everyone

Well I have been sniffing since Wednesday morning and must say I feel quite bad. I am trying mind over matter, but it doesn't always work.

I am in such a bad mood and irritable. It hasn't helped that I spent 24 hours trying to get Glastonbury tickets online and by telephone, but didn't succeed. i got so stressed out. This would have been my 20th year so I am so disappointed. Especially as it usually falls on my birthday.

Anyway,I sometimes feel like giving up sniffing as I don't want to feel like this for too long.
Also when I sniff it it seems to go down my throat and tastes disgusting. Which is why I have to eat chocolate after to take the taste away.

I am supposed to be downregging for 14 days before my first scan and then they will tell me whether to take the injections, Merional, or keep on sniffing.

By the way, has anyone got to take Merional? Boots have told me that the manufacturers have stopped making it and now I don't know how to get any.

Well have a nice weekend everyone. I am going clubbing tomorrow night, it has been a while so looking forward to it

Hi Guys

I am joining this thread on a sad note......My March cycle of DIUI failed...due to test Monday, but the bright red AF says it all.....same as the last failed IVF.

Anyway off to the clinic Monday for scan to see if I can have another stimulated cycle or whether it will be natural!

Caz - I think you are going to have to hold my hand this time babe!

Love

Hello Lovelies!
Jen - so sorry for your news WHAT a pisser. But ABSOLUTELY am here to hold your hand - and so pleased (in a way?) that you are with us.
Traci - Think your attitude is spot on. I ahve been not exactly negative- but sort of in denial and just even thinking of being pg as a possible outcome from all this - am just "going thru the motions". NOt good. So more PMA from me I promise. Start injecting puregon on Thursday I think (go for scan on Monday to check have downregged fully) - maybe it will all seem more real then.

Hope I'm OK on the purgenon - remember being OK last time - but I have been a right olg B*TCH in the last couple of weeks - must be the Prostap which I had to downreg! POOOOR DH!

In answer to earlier question - have told my family (not DHs they know NOTHING about all of this - they couldnt really cope), my sister and weirdly.....my boss.!! 2 of my girlfriends know ....O actually thats quite alot - I am v gobby!! O ....and the girl I train with at the gym!!

O well!

So good to hear from everyone - this is one busy board!

PS - I have decided to have a couple of glasses of vino tonight. Do you think this is a cardinal sin?!

LOL

Caz - hope you enjoyed your vino...I had about a gallon last night before commencing being good again today!

Hope everyone else is good!

Hi all

Still no af so it looks as though I will be more of a MayCB than April......its because I have low progesterone. I tend to go 2 cycles no probs and then 3rd drags on forever, problem is that was the last cycle so I thought I'd be this time around...........you never can tell. I have decided to have a rest from the board until I know exactly when I am going to start, think I need a clear head for a while!

Hope everything goes well for all of you.

Love
