Hi my new year buddies, I think I'm coming down with a cold

Got a tickly throat and getting a sore head too.

I would have thought that with the vitamins I'm taking I could avoid it but no, hubby started the other night and it looks like I've got it now.

I just hope it is gone by next week!

Pauline I hope you will get better!! I expect to get ill as well, in 1 week I will be in France (around 0-5 degres... brrr) and for the moment I am going to the beach, and the temperature is around 38!

oops.. I did forget to put my name, so here i am now! Thank you for reminding me!!

Jan is getting nearer, I hope you are all getting excited!

Hello Everyone!

Thanks for all the support! I am on the 3rd week of the BCP's and I think my body is getting used to the hormones. I still have my moments but at least I feel a little more in control. Maybe I will have a little calm before the storm of all the hormones that are to come!!

I have a consultation with a high risk obgyn the 22nd. I have a lung disease that is very manageable but my lung doc and fertility doc want me to have a high risk obgyn just in case and especially if I have more than one! I am starting to get really nervous and excited!!! Today my hubby and I were talking about it and I realized that we are about 8 weeks away from EC & ET!! I am trying to be really postive with out being unrealistic!!!

I just want to get thru xmas, my husband's brother and his wife are expecting their 1st child and she exactly at the stage that I should have been this time last year and of course they haven't been home for xmas in years but they are coming this year. I hope I make it thru... The in law side of the family is whole other story and I am sure that I will rant on that before it is all over.

Just had my clinic appt. I will be (hopefully) starting my next cycle on 1st Feb with possible EC on 27 Feb.

Souris,

A high risk OB/GYN is a Obstetrician that only deals with high risk pregnancies. Since I have a lung disease and toward the end of the pregnancy "normal" women start to feel a little more short of breathe because the baby is pushing on you. So all doctors involved want me to have a consultation with an high risk ob/gyn so that I will already have one familiar with me if I need one during the pregnancy.

If this all works, hopefully I will not need a high risk ob/gyn!

Good luck with the stepchildren!! Gosh xmas is stressfull enough!!!

Pauline-- Glad you have a start date!! I know it seems like forever but it will be here before you know! At least you have a goal to look forward to.

Clinic appointment went ok - only downer is that they have now stopped all treatment till the middle of january - which means that we may be looking more february than january for treatment, which i suppose is a good things as it means we can definately have the same donor as we have used previously. I guess i'm just anxious to start...

I just wait now till they find a suitable recipient and then they'll contact me and advise me to start taking the pill, also i'll be taking asprin as it helps with implantation - i took it all through my last pregnancy.

Pauline - glad everything went ok with your appointment

I think we will have new buddies joining soon, Jan is gonna be busy!

Jeck, dear, I hope you wont need this high risk doc...But if you do i am sure you will be in good hands!

Heather, I imagine how impatient you are... but it is for the best! And would be great for Brennan too!
I also cheated a bit by being on this thread as I am gonna start tmt mid-end Jan but test early Feb... I couldnt wait though!!

Hope you don't mind me joining you for Janary cycling - posted a separate thread 'January cycle buddies', but Souris directed me here.
I've got a co-ordination appointment next week and then it's just a matter of waiting until my period and off we go. In a way can't wait, on the other hand it's such a rollercoaster and emotionally draining that I'm also dreading it...
Hope everyone else's appointments are going well!
In the meantime there's always Christmas shopping to take our minds off things...!

Hi all new year buddies,
I have been over at the December buddies and of course my AF never came until today and when I called the dr office they are not taking any more day 1 calls. Now I have to wait until my next AF and hopefully go through to my next cycle. It looks like I may be testing in Feb.
