Nicki,

I'm so sorry... thinking of you and dh.
Got pregnant with IUI triplets in March 04. One triplet stopped growing at 9 weeks. Gave birth to twin boys in Sep 04, Ciaran sadly lost his fight. Brennan's thriving.Looking to give Brennan a sibling soon.

Thnaks Heather!!!

Thanks everyone!!!

Why does IUI not work for us? why??

i am thinking we must go onto IVF.....But why isnt IUI working? Is it me? Have I got an issue too? Are my eggs fertilising? Are they implanting? How do I find out these things?

i know I ovulate ok, I know I haven't blocked tubes, but what if I have something else wrong! Would could it be?
TTC 6yrs......Have jumped off the rollercoaster for now, too many BFN's and too much heartache, to keep going....Moving on to fulfil other dreams!!!

Hi Nicki.
So sorry to hear your news. I logged on specially to see.

I know it's really hard for you right now, but you MUSN'T think that there is something wrong with you. We had 3 failed DIUI's and are trying ICSI in January. If you try and work out what went wrong it will tear you up inside. It has taken me a long time to recover, but just remember that most couples who conceive naturally don't do it after the first, second or third go. We are in such an artificial position and it's hard not to question, but it IS normal.
I know nothing can possibly make you feel better right now, but try and believe there wasn't anything you could do and next time will be the time.
Love,
Lynne

Nicki I am so sorry. I really feel your pain right now. I wish I could help.

My consultant said if injections don't work for me he will send us straight for IVF. He had mentioned IUI before so I asked why we couldn't do that and he said there is a lower success rate. So maybe you should go for IVF next.
There is nothing wrong with you! Nature is just bloody cruel!

Nicki - I am so sorry to hear your news. I really want to give you a big hug. Please take some time to heal.

I did 3 DIUI's natural that were BFN. I went on to 2 IVF/ICSI that were BFN. We then had a DIUI with clomid and it worked. Just something to think about.

I do wish you well. Please take care,

Love,
Pam

Sweetie,

I'm so sorry. I know how devastating this can be. Maybe try IUI with meds first before giving up on it. Better chances if you have a few follies in the game right?

Hugs.

Hi NIkki!

What can I say? I feel like i jinxed you!

I am so sorry to hear this news. Like me you were so positive until the last few days. As you seem to be in the rollercoaster carriage immediately behind me I know just how you're feeling.

I can now predict that over the next 36 hours you will probably feel quite a bit worse before you feel better, but then it will start to pass and you can start to look forward again.

You've still got alot of options to explore yet, so lots of chances. You've got every reason to keep hoping, so don't give up.

Hi Nicki, so sorry to see your news. Take time to look after yourself and DH.
Like the other ladies said there are many more options for you to consider. But you probably need to give yourself time before you make any kind of decision.

Nobody really knows why these protocols work or don't work. It really is luck of the draw. You did nothing wrong.

My heart goes out to you at this difficult time

Take care
