Hello all,

I am so ready to start my Lupron on Sat. I think then I will feel like I am actually doing something.
I had acupuncture yesterday and I actually was in a good mood when I left there!! Good moods have been few for me here lately and I will take it when I get it.

We have to self fund our IVF and we thought that we would only be able to afford 1 cycle, but we have decided that if the FET doesn't work we are going straight into 1 more fresh cycle. I know that we really don't need to spend the money, but it will be so worth it if it works...

I am so afraid that none of our 3 embies will survive the thaw. Does anyone know if embies frozen on day 5 have a better chance of thawing or does it matter??

Well i have finally got some dates for my cycle, and wow it seems so real again now and doesn't seem that long till im in another 2WW (what a thought)

I start my pills Sunday then Lupron 27th, Estrogen jabs July 4th, providing AF has arrived by then. US 13th/14th July and Transfer 20th, which means i will be testing August 3rd.
Hope you won't kick me out because i end up in August

Jeck - All i know about FE thawing survival rate is 75% should make it.

So hopefully at least 2 will come through it. When we done our last FET we thawed 3 and got 2 healthy ones, so try not to worry i'm sure it will all be ok.

We have just found out that we have to pay for our treatment from now on, so we are really lucky we have our little frosties.

Anyway i'm wasting good sun bathing time

Hello, all! I stumbled upon this board in my search for Fertility discussion boards and I hope you don't mind if I stick my head in.

I'm Maureen, and my husband is Anthony and we're both 40. We have two daughters, both conceived naturally, but when we started trying for #3 and nothing happened after a year we went in for all the usual testing and it turned out that my husband's numbers were very low. That, combined with my age, led us to our RE and IVF w/ICSI.

We're on our third cycle now. First one my follicles developed too quickly so I didn't make it to retreival. Second one, they retreived 5 eggs but only one fertilitzed. I ended up not pregnant after the transfer.

So here we are. I'm on day 4 of 10 units of Lupron. Once AF arrives I'll add Gonal-F and low-dose hcg and hopefully we'll have a better response than last cycle. Our retreival and transfer will likely be the first week of July.

Looking forward to spending some time on the fertility roller coaster with all of you.

Hello July Buddies,

Just got back from Skiathos today. Had an absolutley fab week. Weather was fantastic, food, husband, etc... Got my AF on the night before, I was gutted because it's cast me into late July/early August now for starting. Can't start on next AF as I am going to Ireland for my nephews wedding and it's a long week of self abuse, late nights etc. Need to give this my very best chance as it is the last.

I need to lose a few pounds after holiday too and get back into shape after all that food I ate in Greece.

Just thought I would myself to the list too.

Can I join your gang. I’m due to start my next cycle 28th July. I’m doing a Antagonist protocol which has no down reg as my doc feels my ovaries don’t like to be shut down. I go Straight into stims on day 2. I’m hoping for a good crop of eggies as have limited frozen sperm.

Maureen looks like our cycles are close together.

Rachel, I am glad you got your dates!!! I am sure that makes you feel better. I know I did when I got my plan, I feel more in control like I am doing something postive towards our goal when I have a plan...

Wish me luck tonight, I am going to my brothers b-day party and my nephew and his newly pregnant wife will be there. I have not been around them since they made the announcement last week. I am so afraid that the main topic of conversation will be the baby!

I didn't want to go to the party but my husband thinks we should, so I made a deal with him that I will go but if I kick him under the table it is time for us to get out of there. So maybe we can just make our appearances and leave...

PMA! PMA! PMA!

I started my Lupron today!!!! I am taking 20 units until I start estrogen and then I go to 10 units. With the fresh cycle I did 10 and then went to 5. I didn't have any kind of side effects last time. I hope this time is the same even though I am taking more lupron.

I tested + this morning, so it looks like after nearly 2 years of trying we were able to conceive naturally.

I want to wish all of you lots of baby dust and best wishes in your journeys. Thanks for letting me visit for a few days.

Lisa - I'm so jealous, I LOVE Greece. We went there the year before we moved to USA and loved it, but now we have to wait till we move back which is another 18 months.
I hope you are nice and relaxed now ready for the hormone merry go round.......

Paula - It's a right pain when you really want your period to come and it doesn't, then when you pray it doesn't it's always there. Fingers crossed for you that it comes this weekend.
