Good luck Kdc! I'll definitely be praying for that 2ww to fly by for you.

I was on my way to the Day 3 Transfer today and they called my cell and told me to turn around. 6 are still developing so they've pushed me back to a Day 5 Transfer. I'm not sure if there's a benefit to this but at least they're all still doing well.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend as they round that corner for retrievals, stims and transfers.

Best,
Kerri

Hi there,

Kristin, hope you'll be feeling better after tomorrow. Good luck for your EC, and Kerri - you're nearly there. All the best for the transfer.

I had our one embryo put back this morning and must admit I found it rather difficult to relax despite the acupuncture. But no reason to worry, all went well and it's a grade A. I've been lucky again. Trying to keep positive thoughts now as I go into the 2WW.

So, kdc, you're just one day ahead of me. Fingers crossed all the way. My test date is 12th June which is DH's birthday.

Hope you're having some sunshine. It's sooooo cold and wet here so we'll be heading off to Italy for a few days. I'm sure it's just what I need to calm me down and some warmth will do me good too.

Catch up with you next weekend. Looking forward to reading your updates.
Good luck and best wishes to everyone on this thread.

Dear all

thanks so so much for your kind and positive thoughts! I am still struggling but cannot really complain as there are 25 fertilised eggs now waiting in some refrigerator or something for us!!! The EC went OK in that they collected 30 eggs of which 27 looked good. I loved the anasthetic as I had the best sleep I have had in quite a while and then woke up to this tender pain of prodded and bloated ovaries! My dh and I went to sleep in a hotel last night as we have alot of extended family staying now and so the only way to get some privacy and quiet was to pretend that I had to travel for work...... But I am back home now and drinking and drinking and drinking and hoping that this hyperstimulation does not win over the ET!!! We are still watching loads of dvds... any recommendations?

Fingers crossed for the rest of you. The odds tell us that some of us will have some BFPs this month and so I am excited even if it isn't me this time round!

lots of love and shimmering baby dust to all!

kdc- thanks for making me laugh! I have not laughed for a while as it is too tender but it was worth it this time! You can tell your friend that I ate 2 eggs for lunch, am going to have chicken for supper and am totally immersing myself in my new hen identity! And you shouldn't worry about your eggs- my over response is purely a result of pretty hands-off care. I definitely feel like I am on an impersonal conveyor belt at our clinic! We are 25 women going through each stage each week and there is little space for questions etc.. and so I am really grateful for all of your help and thoughts.

I thought I would update our list as it is all hotting up (unlike the weather here):

Seattlite: EC 18 May

Leanne: downreg 18 May

Vita: Stims start 24 May

Jess: Stims start 27th May

Kdc2006: ET 28 May

Sonix: ET 29 May

USP: EC 30 May?

Kristin: EC 30 May

Kerri: ET 31 May

Lbebe: EC 31 May

Hayley: ET 6th June
