I am feeling ill again, not sure if its clomid or a cold coming, have been feeling urgh, all day with no energy, sore throat, tired and headachey!!
Not sure what to think, worryed in case i do have a cold, do i then canc the cycle or not??
Is it the clomid??
Hoping i feel better tomorrow, planned to go away but coz how i feel didnt, but dh still wants to go out 2moro.

I have to say Clomid is not the nicest drug in the world. I didn't feel the best on it and was also very headachey! It also gave me a few crazy mood swings, something I had never experienced in my life.
Still, it works for many people. Jules Oliver got pregnant on that (you know Jamie Oliver's wife?). she also had side effects like mood swings!
what we will go through to get pregnant.....................! My worst reaction was to metformin! I had it for 2 days and was not off the toilet so refused to take it anymore!

not that I remember but I got a lot of other things...........hot flushes heaps! they didnt' bother me, more so the headaches that drove me crazy. I got waves of nausea too, especially when I was first on it. I was a lot happier on menopur as had no real side effects from that. But I think they like you to try clomid first before injections.

same here..............my hubby thought I was a bit lunatic on clomid as well! I would have totally irrational arguments with him and he'd evenutally start laughing as I would be saying such silly things! Bit like I do now with the pregancy hormones too! he can't win!

Didnt sleep that well, and throat still sore, I actually woke this morning ad was coughing up blood so got worried, called up nhs direct (Uk ladies, this is such a fab service!!! I was chatting to the nurse for ages about music and weather and stuff, it was good!!!)
She said rest, drink lots and take paracetamol, the answer to most medical questions I think, anyway sore throat is now just about non existant, i am feeling like the old me again too!!!
She didnt think it was anything to do with clomid but parhaps just a little virus!!!
Sorry to worry all you lot, about me but hey I am ok, the old Nicki is back!!!
Becky in answer to your Q, I had to take it for 5 days on cycle days 2,3,4,5,6, the next thing is day 9 follie scan to see what they are doing, hoping they'll biger than when i did it natural iui....
