Hi girls....i'm so sorry to read your news Carolyn...i'm lost for words....nothing you've had to go through is fair, and you really are in my thoughts and prayers...i'm just so sorry it hasn't worked out and my heart goes out to you. I pray you have the strentgh to get through this awful time and come out stronger on the other side.

Jen1d...sorry also to you for have such a crappy weekend worrrying about everything...i hope that EC goes really well tmw ...and that they find out not just one but three great eggs...sending you lots of PMA. In my prayers.

Reach-how is stimming going?

Wanna...did i read right...are you expecting twins??

I am going for my first follie scan tmw...it's 6 days post stimming...i was started on a low dose and so they may adjust it if I have not produced enough follies...feel a bit nervous as i don't feel very much...lower abdo feels very slightly bloated and tender and firm to touch...but not much else...perhaps it's a bit soon to feel anything..not sure really!

I don't go back for a scan again until Thursday.
I am taking alot more meds than last time - I guess my RE is really going for it this time!

Carolyn—I am so sorry sweetie. I am fighting back tears right now. I can only imagine how you are feeling. Life can be so unfair at times. I know I’m not the easiest person to listen to right now. But please do not give up hope. I know it’s hard. But there are so many miracle stories from women who did not give up. There are women who have had 5 and 6 IVF’s and now have their baby or babies at home with them. Not sure if that is feasible for you. But please don’t give up. I have faith that you will be a mommy one day. I know it’s difficult right now to even think about moving on. But take your time. Let it out and when you’re ready…then proceed.

Nerms—I think it’s a good thing that you are feeling slightly bloated and tender down there. I would be more nervous if you didn’t feel anything, you know? Good Luck with your scan tomorrow. I pray that your follies and developing nicely. Not sure if I am having twins or not. Won’t know until Friday. Hopefully we will be able to see something or hear a heart beat. RE said HCG was really high and increased really fast. He is the one who said I should start picking out multiple names. But we don’t know anything for sure. I will let you guys know as soon as I know.

Momtojazzie—Have you heard anything yet? I can’t stand the suspense. lol

The board sure was busy this weekend. I am going to do my best to catch up…

(((Carolyn)))- I'm at a loss for words because I know nothing I can say will change the way you are feeling right now. But I am truly sorry that this happened and I hope that your new clinic will bring you the miracle you deserve.

Nerms- How was your first scan? I hope you saw lots of nice follies growing in there. I didn't start really feeling them until about 7 or 8 days of stimming. And now I feel like a blimp! Mine grew really fast so a lot can change from one day to the next! When will you trigger?

Jen779- GOOD LUCK TODAY!!! Can't wait to hear the big news!

Jen- I'm thinking of you today and praying for at least one little fighter. Please let us know how it goes. Very anxious to hear…

Angie- So sorry you are having to deal with this sweetie. But I hope that your 70% chance turns into a 100% at your next follie scan. 8 to 12 follies at 10-12 at your last scan sounds positive so hang on to that!!!

AEJ- Are you off the sea sick patches and on to the Stimms? I'm glad you are finally on your way!

As for me, I had another scan yesterday and about 15 of the follies were between 18-20 so we triggered last night. I was worried about the trigger shot but I didn't even feel it. I have a feeling I won't be so lucky with the PIO shots …those needles are so big and scary! Anyway, EC is tomorrow at 8:45AM and then transfer will be Friday, the 16th. My pregnancy test will be the 25th so I sort of feel like my 2ww started yesterday…off I go!!!

Oh girls the rollercoaster is still rolling

OMG i can't believe it we got 3 eggs.

Over the weekend another two follies developed and we had 5 in total but 1 was empty and 1 had blood in it but the other three had an egg. The embryologist took my dh aside and warned him our chances were slim and they thought we would probably find none but WE GOT THREE and i cant believe it. They had to put me on an antibiotic drip for an hour just to prevent infection due to the blood in 1 of the follies but who cares i just lay there and cried with happiness.
Now the next hurdle, they will call tomorrow about 10am and let us know if any have fertilized. The Docs sound positive though as we always have a good success rate when it comes to the fertilization but who knows as you can't take anything for granted in this ivf game, will just have to wait and have another stressful night

Will write to everyone soon but am away to relax as my tum is swollen and i'm so tired but happy i still have a chance (so far) to have my own baby

Way to go Jen!!! I'm so happy for you!!!! I will be on pins and needles waiting to hear your fert report. I'm so happy we can get through this week together. It will definitely be an emotional one but I hope that the end results will be well worth it.

OKAY...We had a BFP!!!!!!!!! I can't believe it!!!! I am still in shock...I cried as soon as she told me the news. My HCG levels weren't that great though...76. I have to go back on Friday for another blood test. She wants them to be at 300...at least! So now I am praying hard for that! Just wanted to share the news. I am keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers! I will keep you guys posted on Friday's results!

I think I am on track now - 2nd batch of follies have grown and he is pretty confident we will get to EC. It may be Sat or early next week. Yet another scan for me on Thursday.
