Hello everyone! I'm so glad to hear how well you're all doing!
Alisa- I hope everything is going well at home with Evie! She is gorgeous!
ttcnb- You are really doing awesome! You are my hero!
Jen- I know that it must be very reassuring to hear that sweet little heartbeat. As far as food goes, I just avoid any seafood (I hate it anyway), lunch meat, soft cheeses, Sweet N Low, caffeine, and alcohol. There are so many worries during pregnancy that I haven't let that one stress me out too much
Yingz- Congrats on Chloe's birth! I'm glad to hear that she's doing well!
Katie and Deftonesmo- Not long now ladies! Can't wait to see pictures of those beautiful babies!
Nancy- Hang in there! Maybe that little one will flip around before the big day! I have also heard awful things about turning breech babies
Bodie- I first felt my little ones around 17- 18 weeks but I wasn't really sure what I was feeling. Now it's very clear. I love the feeling!
Lyd- I'm so impressed that you already have child care squared away! That is what is freaking me out right now
Ester- Hope you're still doing well!
AFM- I did my 3 hour GTT a little over a week ago, and it was borderline...only 1 abnormal value. They said that with twins they would recommend that I go ahead and go on a GD diet. I met with the dietician for 2 hours last Friday, and I've had to cut out some foods I love, but it's worth it to keep these little ones healthy! So far my 1 hour post-meal glucose levels have been 80- 100, so I'm hoping I don't have to alter anything further! At my last OB appointment my cervix had shortened to 3 cm, but they're still happy with that. Next appt is in a week. We finally had all of our furniture delivered, and I am so excited to see the nursery shaping up! I had a shower last week, and have 2 more this week. After those 2 showers, we're going to go ahead and buy what we still need.
Now the big stress is our child care. We met with daycares when I was about 8 weeks pregnant, and we've been on the waiting list with 2 of them. Unfortunately it looks like we won't get in until Sept. I have to go back to work at the end of May. So we're trying to figure out if we need a nanny. Does anyone know how much a nanny for 2 newborns might cost? It seems like such a taboo subject to talk about cost with people, but it's so important! Any input would be appreciated! Thanks ladies!
