Hi Donna ... Nice to hear from you !! It's such a good feeling to have a plan, and it sounds like you're really up for this one ! I hope things move along quickly for you. Remember, in the meantime, spend you time making sure your body's prepared for the little embies ... lots of good foods, vits etc. Fingers crossed things start moving soon. 3 potentials sounds very hopeful.

My little embies should be thawing in around about a week's time. Thanks Donna - fingers crossed !

Make sure you hang around, and keep us all updated with your news ..

I'm no good at personal replies coz i'm one of those people that just always says the wrong thing, but i am thinking of you all and reading the posts. Sorry to hear the negatives and pleased for all the positives. those on the 2ww hang in there PMA PMA!
I started on fostimon yesterday so hopefully my EC will be on 4th May. Crazy i know but i've already worked out IF EC is on 4th May, then IF i get a positive result the baby will be due on my wedding anniversary! PMA but I see that as a good omen.
Anyway i go for blood test tomorrow to see if ok with fostimon, and if dose ok.

Dear Susie

in my opinion there's never a right or wrong thing to say at this point...

what's important is just being there...

that does make all the difference!

Keeping my fingers crossed for you and all the other girls!

Hi,thought I would stick to this thread as you do start repeating yourself.I had ec yesterday and for all you out there who have not had it don't worry too much!I went under general and got v.nervous but I have no pains only groggy but feel fine today, they got 4 eggs which I expected and joy of joys 3 have fertilised,I know it is not much but I am so happy,I made my mind up not to donate them as I woke up,I thought what if I never make any eggs again and I imagined someone else having a little girl that looked like me totally freaked me out.The implications of egg share doesnt affect you until are faced with the fact you have not produced enough it is your first cycle and you never know if you will get any more, sorry to rattle on.
Have my et on tuesday so 2ww for me.another thing once eggs have fertilised can you lose them from can they stop growing

That is fantastic news - all you needed was one, so now you have 3 x as many

Take care of yourself over the next couple of days and keep fully charged with PMA for the ET.

Have everything crossed and will be thinking of you.

Let us know how you get on.

Hi TylerB

Congratulations on getting this far. 3 is fantastic and I am glad that you found some clarity and did not have to agonise over the decision not to egg share. This can be very difficult for some people.

I understand that sometimes embryos do not continue to divide or may be slow to divide or the cells may fragment which reduces quality. I would try to remain positive and not focus on this....it will do your head in. I found this time the most stressful because that is all I could think about!!! In the end the worrying was for nothing.

Best of luck for Tuesday. Are you having all 3 put back? I hope it all goes really well and you can relax a bit.

Another piece of advice that I found really useful for the 2ww came from my clinic. They told me after ET that nothing I could do now would influence the result so I should just RELAX! Everytime I get anxious I think about that and it seems to work. Hope this helps a bit.

Best wishes
Heather

Tyler ... 3 embryos is great ! I'm glad you've made your decision, and now you can enjoy (?!) the next stage of the process. Get some rest today and tomorrow, ready for ET on Tuesday. Good luck !!

I'm on day 3 of stimms now and had a blood test today to see if dose is ok, and results came back that the dose is perfect and I dont have to go back for another blood test til Wed. Which is real good coz its an hour each way to the clinic and have to be there at 7 am, so I get 2 lay-ins!
Well done Tyler 3 is great, are you having all 3 put back?
Good luck to everyone
