NOV 06 IVF girls....

Just came back from the dr.....they are calling me tonight to tell me whether I am doing my trigger tonight or tomorrow night. I am on the border of size...so waiting on the dr. to take a look at them along with my blood work!!

Since our trigger shot didnt go so well last time, decided to have one of the nurses from the office give it to me this time... just dont want to take a chance of it not working right again.... so that should take a whole lot of stress of my and DH!!! Will let you all know what is happening and when as soon as I know!!!

Angellica, I'm so sorry to hear about your FIL. My thoughts are with your family. It must be hard going through that and IVF too.

Bubbly101 Going under is simple. They use a very light anesthesia. I actually woke up 2x during my procedure. The first time I looked up and asked if theystarted yet. The 2nd time I asked how many eggs I have and told the Dr. she better put them ALL back. hee hee You say weird stuff under that. They let my husband come in at one point to show him the blood vessels and why they couldn't get to the right ovary. He said I was snoring. I woke up feeling fine. You'll do great!

I went to dr. today and he said things were looking really good and to go ahead and do the trigger shot tonight. We did the hcg a 7pm and are scheduled for ER for Wed. morning. Finally!

Oh man, there are so many crazy things happening that I'm just going to throw out a collective "I'm thinking of you" and stress that that covers all of you. I am feeling so good about this thread--I think Nov 06 girls are going to have record baby results!
Anyway, wanted to share a little story with you. My poor DH was giving me my shot this morning and for some reason it really hurt (Huh? wonder why) and so I said "ow" At this, my vicious cocker spaniel (well, he's vicious if you're a squeeker toy) decided dh was hurting mom and that he had to protect me. So there I am, laying with my bum in the air, my husband shooting medicine into it while being attacked by a 20 pound dog. Man, if only we could have video taped it

Pleased to hear that i am not the only one who waffles and chats when coming out of the anesthetic. i bet the doctors have a real laugh at us sometimes.

Hi everyone, WOW i can't beleive how everyones progressing. I've missed a few days as i had to work over the weekend.
Angelica my thoughts are with you and good luck with the ER and hope all goes well, i don't know how you keep calm.
Wannababy, don't worry i had over 20 follies on one side and around 18 on the other and my doctor was concernerned for OHSS but he still gave me another shot of Goal F, I got 20 eggs 12 of which matured perfectly, I had no side affects at all i was tired the following day, but then went back to work. It was negative but i am now on 2ww after FET.

anyone been through FET before? are symptoms similar to fresh transfer as i have a few aches and niggles in the area on and off, also getting mid headaches, could this be the drugs? very hard to keep ppsitive.When do you think you would know! people always say you know your pregnant.Sorry to be negative bit very scared of failure again.

beachbaby, FET is much easier than fresh cycle. You're not sore from retrieval, etc... and have more energy. GOOD LUCK!

MEG, That is hysterical. I was cracking up. Worried I was shaking around my embies. I can't wait to show my husband that. We have 2 dogs, so we can very much relate. That was the best. Thx for sharing.

I'm back at work today. I wish i could take another day off
I was talking under anesthesia too I told the doc what my fave restaurant is and my fave dish there.... They told me I was VERY talkative....
The nurse told me that out of 9 eggs 7 were mature and I'm still waiting to find out how many fertilized. It's driving me crazy..... I hate to wait.
My butt is sore after PIO shot. MY DH amost got a heart attack when he saw the size of the needle He did good though. I asked him to practice on orange first

wannababy---my trigger shot is at midnight tonight (actually wed. morning ) The nurse is coming to my house...so thankful for that!! I can't tell you how much pressure that takes of my DH and me too!!!

So, I do trigger tonight...and then ER on Thursday, and ET on Sunday!!! Wohoo!!! So ready...but of course nervous!!! Looking forward to the 6 days off I have...that should be nice.

It amazes me how everyone is just moving right along! So proud of you all! Keep it up, and lets get those BFP's rolling!!!!

Well the biologist finally called we have 11 eggs that have fertilized. She will call tomorrow to let us know how they are doing and then on Thursday they will do genetic testing which is the scary part for me. Anyway she is still planning on Friday as transfer day. fingers crossed.
