Angie - good luck on scan Thursday - congrats on all your follies!

Carolyn - I hope you're feeling better with each day. I know it's unbearable at times, but please hang in there. Wannababy was so right - so many women have gotten pregnan after 5,6 7 even 9 IVF's (ie. Brook Shields) and then gone on to have natural pregnancies...just bizarre. I'm thinking about you and your family....lots of PMA your way.

As for me, 2nd day of stims and feeling good. I think acupuncture helps - maybe it's in my head, but that's ok! I still have this nasty patch on and have intense headaches, but I'm calling tomorrow to find out when I can remove it...last time they "forgot" to tell me I could take it off!! I don't want to keep it on a minute longer than necessary!
I go Thursday for my first scan...hope it's good..the RE did say I started with 9 follies, but they look really small - so we'll see if the extra meds help!

I don't know if my little heart can take anymore stressful waiting.

The embryologist just rang and we have 2 eggs fertilized out of the 3, so the wait continues. 1 of the embies looks better than the other but he said they are still ok. He does not want to comment on the 1 that doesn't look so great as he has seen embies develop overnight, which they thought would never get anywhere. So there is still hope we might have 2 but even if there is 1 i will be grateful as we never expected to get this far and as we know girls, it only takes 1
They will call me at 9am tomorrow and if all is ok then ET will be at 11.30am.

COME ON EMBIES PLEASE KEEP GROWING------FIGHT FOR MUMMY

Am feeling ok today after a massive sleep yesterday afternoon, which i never do. I then went to bed and slept all night just not like me one bit, the stress must be knocking me out My tum is a bit swollen but not sore, am just going to chill in the house and dread taking my lovely pessaries instead---yuck. The good thing is they have given me enough to take right through to the preg test date, which means i don't have to be continually worried about going to the loo and should make it to the test date without bleeding (that will be a first ) then just do the test, this way i can be a bit less stressed out and go to work to take my mind off things.

Carolyn - Hope you are ok, am thinking of you and send a big hug.

Jen779 - Caongratulations especially on your first go at ivf, your a very lucky girl. Hope your numbers are shooting up as we speak.

Steph - Hope your ET goes well. Your on the road to your BFP

Wanna - Thanks for your good wishes, yep you were right, i nearly cried reading your message too.

Jenn - so pleased that you got a BFP. Enjoy every moment of it.

Thanks for all your support. It means a lot. Not even going for my pregnancy test tomorrow at the clinic. Cannot face the clinic call again. We have booked our follow up review which is 2 weeks from Thursday. We will see what they have to say and ask if we can take our notes to the new clinic. Not much more for me to say. Going with friends horse racing at Cheltenham tomorrow and plan to get wrecked. Should only take a glass or two of wine as been tea total for nearly a year.

As for me...i went to clinic for day 7 scan on monday...they said i have 14 follies...but all of them are very small b/w 9-12mm i think the lowest they will accept for ec is 17mm. They also said this scan was a bit early and they doubled my dose to 300 for two days, i go back tomorrow for another scan...i sooooooo hope they have grown...i was feeling quite positive on monday, but this morning i got up and felt a bit empty...i really hope they are growing..i feel slightly bloated, but not uncomfortable...not sure what is normal but alot of other girls i've read about have mentioned they feel extremely bloated at this stage...i'm on day 8 of injections. Any one with any info/reassurance?

Its easier said than done but you must try to relax, 17 follies is a brilliant amount and yes you still have time and a couple of days can make all the difference. In previous cycles mine looked small then over a weekend they grew really well. Its good they have increased your medi as this should trigger them more to grow. Bloating is a good sign as it means something is going on.
Hang in there, i bet when i log on in a couple of days you will be ready for EC

Nerms - I am sure you have nothing to worry about - 8 to 12 days stimming is normal - as you can from my ticker see I am highly abnormal! (Have been on a very low dose though to avoid OHSS) We will reach EC nearly together I hope.

Jen - good luck with the ET and hope you continue you to enjoy lots of lovely sleep. I am exhausted too and can completely relate.

Steph - hope EC went well - look forward to your update.

Carolyn - thanks for your message - I really hope you enjoy the races and you well deserve to let your hairdown.

The whole experience is turning surreal for me now - my friends have booked a nice restaurant next week for my birthday (the big 38- youch!) - only one knows about the IVF so I am just going to have to go along with it and then pull out I guess at the last minute - I hate doing that. Oh well - what can we do?

Ok, something is going on with my emails from this site. Sometimes I don’t even get an email telling me that someone has responded. When I do receive the email it’s a day later. Must be the time difference. So I see I have a lot to catch up on. Let me get started.

Carolyn—You have been on my mind. Hope you are doing okay. Enjoy your day at the horse races. Have a drink for me please.

REACH—No thanks needed. There is no other place that I would rather be! I like it here with my IVF sisters. Besides, you all were there for me during my process. The least I can do is be there for you. We all started this together and we have to see each other thru. Just because I got a BFP, I’m not going to desert my sisters in their time of need. I couldn’t if I wanted to. I like to hear everyone’s updates. I believe we all will be mommies some day. I’m living proof and I plan to stick around as long as it takes to see that happen for every one of you wonderful ladies! Anyway, I hope you can take your patch off soon. Good Luck with your next scan.

Jen1d—Good news on the fert report! I knew you would have two!! I knew it! I knew it! Those little buggers can change so much over night. I know you are excited. Let us know how the transfer goes. I have the honor of using the pessaries. They are not that bad. Just keep a stash of panty liners…sorry TMI.

Shantala—Yup it was me that said that about your name. Ran it past DH and he said, why are we looking at girls names…You know we are having boys, right? lol He is so set on twin boys. Just because of that it will probably be a girl or girls. lol How are you hanging in there? Are you going to resist taking a HPT early?

nerms—Hi there! No morning sickness for me. Hopefully won’t have any! Ok, did I miss something….did momtojazzie get a BFP? I know she was missing in action for a while. Is that why? Okay, let me go back a couple of pages. As far as your follies, 14 is a good number. Also, if I recall correctly mine were small at first. But my dosage was never doubled because of the hyper stimulation syndrome. I’m sure they will increase in size with your increase dosage. Feeling bloated is a good sign so keep your head up. Good Luck to you and let us know how the next scan goes.

Angie—How are you doing? Hopefully EC will be this Saturday. When is your next scan? Ok, I might have missed something….which isn’t hard…but why do you have to pull out of dinner. Is it because of the ET?

Hi all, just wanted to pop in and give an update!! Sorry I can't do personals right now but I'm thinking of all of you!!

EC went great yesterday. We got 13 eggies...a baker's dozen! And I just got the call that 10 fertilized. I am SO happy!! ET will be Friday and I'm really excited!!!

I don't know what I would do without all of you to get me through this crazy roller coaster. Seriously! Thanks for all the support.
