Hello Ladies.... I have been MIA since my last BFN in March. I decided to take a little break from the whole IVF phase. I have been using a CBFM in the meantime and even that is not doing anything for me. 2nd month trying it and never saw a Peak... anyway. I have one Frosty and I have decided to try my Frozen-Toad... I just hope the Lord will bless me this time if not then it is back to trying a fresh cycle one more time... then I would just have to except the fact that I was onle meant to be a mother Once. So my bday is 7-11, I called my RE and the first available was for 7-11... so I will be spending the morning of my Bday at the REs office to talk about my Frosty. So anyone that has had an FET... can you give me a heads up on how that works? I would asume I would not have to Stim thru this so does that mean a faster cycle?
Now... since I am coming in late to this forum... actaully may have to join ther next one... but I just had to drop in and say Good Luck and Congrats to all the ladies.... but I wanted to specifically say to a special person from my ast Forum...

Hi everyone,
I read everyone's posts just about every day and I think of you all often.
I finally got my visit from AF 2 weeks after I thought I was going to and 10 days of provera. I really thought I was in for in big time with the cramps I had for the past week but things are not so bad. I am going for my baseline U/S and such tomorrow so we will see whats next.
Lady_J - So good to hear from you. Hope you enjoyed your time off. Good luck with your FET. Hoping that your 1 frozen embie is a sticky one.
Rosario - You are not a bad person. After all the let downs, it just takes time to realize that this finally worked. Just realize that YES, you are PG and you will make a great MOM.
Sabi - CONGRATS ON YOUR BFP!!!! I would say you have more then one baking in there. Can't wait for your u/s.
Johannanita - Sending tons of good luck vibes that your E2 level rises and you don't get canceled. If you do, hoping everything works out that you can cycle again ASAP. I had a canceled cycle back in Feb, we converted it to and IUI. When I got AF I immediately went into my next cycle. Which at the time I thought was nice but I actually had left over cysts from the previous cycle. They weren't effecting my E2 levels so they went ahead and let me stim. One of the cysts ended up being 44mm and the cycle really sucked. Now I am regretting doing the cycle so soon. So just make sure before beginning your next cycle (if you get canceled) that your body and ovaries are ready for it. I know it sucks to wait.
AFM - Took my first stim shot yesterday. YEY!!!! Michelle you can officially move me up on the list. Thanks. I don't go in for my first u/s till 7/7. Hopefully will see some good thing then. I have an infusion of intralipids tomorrow so taking the day off of work and starting my holiday weekend early. Will also be going to AP. At my AP appt the other day my AP used electrolysis to help the blood flow to my ovaries. Was a little freaky but didn't hurt at all. Hoping that is going to help with my egg quality.

sending lot of positive vibes to everyone..i wanted to do more personals...but all this progesterone is making me so dizzy and tired. if im so tired with just the shots and gel, cnt imagine how i will handle the real pregnancy symptoms! rosario - kudos for coping with those symptoms X 3 times !!!
I posted last night but I think my message got swept up in the flurry of posts so I will cut/paste again bc I desperately need ya'lls input:
i read an article today and wanted to see if yall had any more input on the topic. Have yall heard of IVM (in vitro maturation)? it looks like they only medicate for 3 days then retrieve immature eggs and mature them in the lab. I was thinking since my egg quality isn't too great, maybe this would be a better route to take since my RE thinks the intense meds of IVF only worsen their condition. Any thoughts?
I am dying to get back to IVF but the way the economy is going I don't think DH will be back with a law firm for a while and I need something more than TI right now... maybe this is an option
Me 25, DH 27
10X clomid, 3 w/IUI
IVF 1- BFP, MC@9 wks
IVF 2- BFN
husband laid off- no infertility coverage
3X with femara, all BFN's but has regulated my cycle and FINALLY got positives on ovulation test
Currently on my 4th cycle with femara
waiting for 4 - you can post this question in a separate thread so that you will get a quick response. there are lot of experienced ladies, and im sure someone will have an answer.
waiting for 4 - Glad to hear from you. Yes, I have heard of in-vitro maturation but I think it is a pretty new process. I don't know of any actual clinics that do it but I am sure there are some. Sounds like a good idea if it can help with egg quality. Lord know these drugs can't be good on our bodies or our eggs. And the price of them is unbelievable so maybe it would be a little cheaper then regular IVF. Though I don't think the cost would be too much different seeing that you would have to pay for more lab time. Let me know if you find anything else out about it. I might do some checking myself.
Good luck, maybe you will be a luck one and get PG on your own. Hoping your DH can find a job soon. How's the new house coming?
Chris... Hi hun.... Miss u as well. Well, congrats on stimming. I really do hope and pray that this will be your time. I really do hope that my frosty sticks too. Good luck hun.
waiting... glad to hear from you as well. It has been a long time, unfortunately!!! As for the IVM, I have nbever heard about it, this is the first time, but it makes sense. With this technology and scienbce, I guess anything is possible.... shoot pretty soon, they will be cloning babies-4-sale!!!! I wish that was now.
Well, ladies, i' will keep u posted and I will keep a look out for your success stories. Good Luck!!!

I caved in and did a couple of HPT's . . . all came back negative, except for one (I think the faint line was an evaporation line though) . . . had my beta this morning and now I'm just waiting for my RE to call me back with the results . . . not feeling especially hopeful though . . . I've googled lots of "negative hpt/positive beta" stories, but still <sigh> . . . RE said that I can start another cycle right away, provided that my ovaries are okay . . . so I guess we'll see . . . if this cycle is a bust and we did another cycle in July, I don't think I'll POAS . . . it made me too crazy
KJGrant - That's exactly how long it took me to get AF after provera. So, now your cycle starts soon!!
Chris - So glad to see you back on the list!!!
waiting for 4 - I have never heard of that before either, sorry.
deftonesmo - Prayers to you!!!!
AFM - just relaxing at home. DH is at work. Our basement flooded yesterday while we were getting our ET. It's an awful mess down there. I did a little bit of picking up debris yesterday. Not a lot. DH has his work cut out for him today when he gets home. I feel bad for him.
Stay Positive-I feel you on having extra meds, I have a 900 unit Follistim pen leftover. It sounds like your clinic is monitoring you really well for OHSS, just hang in there.
Vicky1707-Glad your stimming is going well.
Kushka-My fellow 2ww, I’m so, so sorry. I wanted all of us to have our BFP together. It sounds like you have a great DH and you’ll get through this together. Take some time for yourself and bring a lot of questions to your RE.
Johannanita-I’ll be thinking of you and your follies this week and hoping that it all works out. Keep us updated.
TrueBeliever-Your FET is coming up, hooray!
Mikeandjess-Congratulations on being PUPO! Sorry to hear about your flooding, our basement flooded several years ago and that is a mess to clean up.
praying4BFP-It sounds like you have a really good plan and I’m glad you’re moving forward.
CT_Michele-Thanks for updating me on the list, I can’t tell you what it means to finally see my name down there with a BFP and a smiley face next to it. Seems like such a little thing but it means a lot.
abogenpohl-Congratulations on your BFP!!
angieinhull-Your follies sound really good. Let us know how it went today.
Bey1214-I’m so sorry for your BFN. Take care of yourself.
Rosario-I’m glad you’re keeping in touch and I’m glad you’re okay. I don’t think your reaction to all of this is unusual…we all go through so much to get our BFP that once we get them it’s hard to believe they’re really real.
EYCI-You guys are so good for keeping your BFP a secret. Too many people knew we were doing our IVF cycle this month but we’re still trying to restrict the information to close family and friends.
HollyB-Sorry to hear about your BFN. It sounds like you have a good attitude for moving forward. My clinic makes us wait a month in between cycles too.
Julie nurse-I hope your Lupron is still going well. Everyone responds differently to the meds so maybe you’re lucky and will have no reaction. I had headaches and some mood swings.
sabi-Congratulations!! What an awesome beta number!
Daisy106-Can’t wait for your BFP on Friday!
Welcome LadyJ-An FET is definitely easier than a fresh cycle, no stimming, no HCG trigger shot and not nearly as much BW or US. It’s definitely less stressful I think.
KJGrant-Glad AF finally showed up for you. It’s so frustrating to actually WANT her to show up during this.
to_have_fun08-I’m so happy that you are finally moving forward!! I can’t wait for your BFP!!
Sunshine.12-I went through a phase with the progesterone where it made me really sleepy too but than it went away.
AFM-I just wanted to say thank you so much to all of you for the kind words of support. DH and I are still just in shock over our BFP, we just can’t believe that if finally happened for us. This forum has been so helpful to me through this process; I don’t know what I would have done without you all. I went in for my second beta today and it was 233.8 which is right where it should be. I go in for my US in 3 weeks, I can’t wait!!
Me=31 DH=37
Male Factor
IVF #1-3 BFN
IVF#4 June 2009=BFP!!!!
Beta #1=134.5
Beta #2=233.8
I'll see my RE again in two weeks . . . if everything looks okay, then i guess we'll be good for an august cycle . . . I just really wanted my BFP this month!
On the positive side, I do get to drink some red wine tonight . . . haven't done that in ages! =)
