Thanks so much to everyone. It was a short stim. I was quite shocked when I saw the dr yesterday and he told me that we were stimming...my reaction was actually "WHAT????". LOL Poor guy, think I might have frightened him a bit. He had told me Thursday it was possible but got my E2 levels back and they weren't where he wanted them yet so he said it would probably be Sunday or Monday before we triggered.

I am not feeling all that well today. He had me do Repronex last night along with the trigger. Repronex makes me feel horrible. I think my E2 levels may still be a bit low but my follicles are quite large now (21-26mm yesterday) and I have 9 of them. I guess that is good considering I only have one ovary.

We are really looking forward to tomorrow and Thursday. I hope and pray all goes well.

Thanks again to everyone. I will update tomorrow if I am feeling well enough.

Hugs, Chrissy

Faith I'm so pleased to hear that the follie fairy finally flung follie fertiliser on your follie factory (sorry, don't know what came over me there). Hope you get good news tomorrow - you're certainly getting closer.

Chrissy, best of luck for EC tomorrow. Hope you start to feel better, too.

Little P, glad everything's going so well. Hope your IVIG (whatever that involves) went well today.

I've had the best possible start to my 2ww as with the tennis and Live8 and there was no excuse to get off the sofa. Still have to keep reminding myself that the little darlings are in there.

Hi girls. I'm glad everyone's doing fine at the moment.

Feeling very down in the dumps lately. Had a call friday from the clinic with the results from my bloods. It's confirmed that I do have PCOS (high insulin levels) and I need to take start taking metformin. Very worried at the moment that the whole process is going to fail. Probably the drugs playing with my emotions.

One happy news though, SIL is pregnant. I hope she goes through with this one, as she had a miscarrage a couple of months back.

Hopefully, my mood will pick up the rest of this week.

Hi Everyone,

Here's today's update.... I've got follies at 23, 20, 2 @ 16, 1 @ 13, and 1 @ 9 mm. They've not really grown much since Saturday. The consultant seems to think we'll get 4 eggs at the most, but seems quite happy to go ahead with that, so we're set for HCG tonight @ 9 pm, with EC @ 9 am on Wednesday! Feeling very apprehensive, but I suppose it's got to be done....
They tried to do a blood test today as well, but couldn't get a sample and gave up after four tries (I've got holes all over my arms and hands!) I always have real trouble with blood tests, my veins are rubbish. They usually end up getting it out of the back of my hand, but that wouldn't even work today.... Wish they'd managed to get some, it would have just reassured me that everything really was ready. It's just another thing that I can't do properly....

Something else really stressing me out too is the traffic getting in and out of Manchester.... It really is horrendous in the mornings. Even setting off with loads of time to spare we have either been a little bit late or just on time. Not good for the 'no stress' rule!

Also paid our bill today (GULP.......!!)

Really hope we make it through to ET (which will be Friday, touch wood) but I really am trying not to look too far ahead.

Sorry not to catch up with everyone individually but I'm leaving work now.... DH is insisting that I go home and take it easy tonight.... Although I've been sleeping quite well, I just seem to be exhausted. I'm also finding it difficult to concentrate at work and feel really guilty as they've been so good about all the time off I've had....
Oh well, must pull myself together and put a really good day in tomorrow, as I'll be off for the rest of the week....

Take care all,

Faith xx

Just wanted to say good luck for the EC this week girls.

And everyone who is testing - fingers crossed for you.

I am due to test tomorrow. I am feeling so apprehensive (I went to a fortune teller in early May, who said I would be pregnant by August. She is really good and so many things have come true, I dare not believe it though!).... So don't tell me off for this but I have just done a clear blue test...and there is a cross in the window. Now I am worried that it is incorrect! To tell you the truth I have never been able to wait for the test at the clinic and on the previous 4 attempts have done a test at home first. This is the 1st time it have shown positive. I don't know what to say, I don't know how to feel. I've just called DH and told him - he can't get his head round it either - he said he won't believe it till I have a tummy the size of a large football!

Anyway, feel a little better for sharing this with you. Think I will have a sleepless night now and counting the hours till I go to the clinic at 10am.

Take care everyone and PMA.

Thanks to everyone for the well wishes.

I had EC this morning. They got 7 eggs. I am feeling crampy and very tired now. They will call me tomorrow and let me know how things go with fertilization. We are doing ICSI and AH.

Off to bed now. Quite tired.

Anne

Will keep my fingers crossed that nothing changes - it's looking good though :D

Chrissy

Well done on the harvest - get plenty of rest and relaxation and keeping everything crossed for a good fertilisation for you.

Faith

Good luck with EC - will be thinking of you and sending loads of +ve vibes your way. Remember you only need one :D

Hope everyone else is doing ok :?:

Love to all

Chrissy, glad EC went well and hope you're starting to feel better after it. Hope the embies are doing well - do you know when ET will be?

Faith, I'm so pleased that after all your fears about not responding to the drugs there are some good size follies coming through. Good luck for EC tomorrow.

Kagome, how are things going now? I have no idea what the implications of having PCOS and taking metformin are, but it does sound like the clinic is doing everything it can to keep things on track. Hope you can manage to stay positive, though it can't be easy with the cocktail of emotions and hormones you're currently on. Take good care of yourself.

Anne - still dying to hear whether you've tested.

Great news this morning. They fertilized 6 of the 7 eggs last night, one wasn't mature enough. This morning they all had fertilized but 1 of them was abnormal so we have 5 embies! My transfer will be sometime Thursday afternoon, they will call me tomorrow with the time. I am so pleased and excited! We are transfering 2 and it is a 3 day transfer.

Thanks to everyone for their thoughts and prayers.

Wishing everyone lots of baby dust.
