I have now got a bucket next to the loo, so i have got somewhere to be sick (if needed) while i have a pee!!!! was fed up of covering myself or the door with it (TMI  ). Just letting you ladies know what you might be in for in the next few weeks or months. 'BRING IT ON' i hear you's shout loud and clear!!!! Will be praying that you all get to experience this. :D

Well i suppose i must go and visit the relatives as i have not seen my mum for about a month.

Hey all!

Sorry not been around much. No excuses really!

Sue - you made me laugh with the bucket comment! I've been really lucky in that dept. Especially as I have a real phobia about being sick - would rather have an injection than be sick (weirdo!!!). Anyway, had a "wobbly" bit a few weeks ago but am fine. Boobs are huge (well, for me anyway) - have always had "two fried eggs on an ironing board!" but rather sore so dp can't enjoy them just yet! Have app. with consultant next Tuesday - not sure what for (?!) but there you go!!! Nice too feel looked after!

Christine - sorry about the delay but great news about the lining!!!!

Anna - how you doing?! Not long till your app. I'm really excited for you, so you must be hopping with anticipation!

Sophie - hope your scan/et goes well! Best of luck!

Happy Thursday all!

Cla & Sue - great to keep hearing from you! I had morning sickness all the way through my first pg, right until the day I gave birth. I lost 2 stone in the process! It's a horrible thing to go through so I really do sympathise! I got to the point where I just slept all night on the bathroom floor as I vomiting so frequently. Yuck!

Had my scan today. Crap news - my lining is only 6mm - it needs to be at least 7mm. ET was supposed to be on Saturday so I'm gutted to say the least. They are keeping me on my meds and I have another scan Saturday morning to see if there is any change but the nurse didn't sound too hopeful. IF it is okay, then ET will be on Monday. Will let you know on Saturday whether or not this cycle has been cancelled. Lets hope not. I am SO p!ssed off!

Christine - can't believe you have to wait for ET but I'm pleased the lining is good - well done!

Hello to all
Sophie, what a drag. Hope that lining does as it's told and gets thick thick thick! Only 1 more mm to go.....Mega good luck for Saturday.

Really good to hear from you Cla. Glad to see you are Ok. Yes I am 'hopping with anticipation', not long to go now until our trip to Spain. We don't know what the future holds but keeping positive helps to keep me sane!

Hi to all lovely new year buds, hope everyone OK

Bad news for me - lining was not thick enough so cycle has been cancelled on the day ET was due. Totally fed up with the whole thing now!!! It's all so physically and mentally draining. DH and I said from the beginning we would limit ourselves to three attempts, but 2 of those were cancelled at last minute with no transfer so do we include them? If it was not for the frozen embies I think I would call it a day now and go for adoption but I feel a sense of duty to use the frozen embies. But we have been doing this for years now and i feel I want to get on with my life, plus we are so blessed to have our dd but she so desperately wants a sibling!

How about you girls? Have you set yourself limits? This is all so difficult!

Sorry for the rant!

Hi Sophie

Just read your post.

Really sorry to hear your news. Can throughly undertand why you are so gutted. It is so soul destroying to get through all those weeks and nearly get to the final. I felt exactly the same last attempt. My embryo didn't divide on the day of et. So stop drugs and sorry that it it for now. It is so hard.

After that we made a decision on how many more attempts to have. We decided to use all frozen embyros and then call it a day. I think you have to set your limits. It could just drag on and on and drive yourselves crazy. We are going down the adoption route if we have no success with the remaining embies.

Take care of each other.
Thinking of you

lots of love christine xxx

Hello all

Have been away with family for the weekend and have just got back to catch up with the news.

Sophie, sorry to see things didn't work out this time. :( I totally understand how you feel about cancelled tmt, have been there so many times. It's so hard, emotionally and physically draining. Thinking about setting limits etc...my nurse gave the advice that you stop when you feel you have given it your best shot and you feel that there is nothing more you can do. It is different for each couple. Don't know if that helps! Give yourself time to recover. Take care of yourself and dh.

Sue-e thanks for message. I am away all this week, with the school residential. Then off to Barcelona on Tues 2nd May. Can't quite believe it's come round so quickly. How's the sickness? :)

Christine, good to see you are on track. Good luck for the 26th.

- Anna - going for egg donor tmt soon, 1st apptmt 3rd May
- Eminde - BFP - Twins
- Stacy - BFP
- Cla - BFP - nuchal/blood test results all ok
- Sue-e BFP scan 10th May
- Sophie - cancelled cycle , big hug x
- Christine - scan 19th April ET 26th April
- Souris - appointment 4th April to discuss next steps
- KellyL - down regging 16th April
- Lynne - starting injections 4th May, EC beg June
- Lisa(Macca8) - cycle planned for July

Will be offline until Fri, have a good week.
Keep smiling :)
