just a quick pop in for me today. 4 more days! I'm still excited/ nervous- so many emotions. I am definitely not jealous of the 2ww. Now I know why so many posts about going crazy! lol! I'm 4 days into my 1ww and it's awful!

rae- as the pregnant one among us- how long do your boobies hurt/ sore? mine are awful! definitely worse than any PMS I've ever been through. Don't think I can't stand this for 9 months- they feel so heavy!

I have a slight ache in my belly- sorta like I did when I was stimming, so don't want to read too much into it because my ovaries could still be enlarged, but very hard not to analyze your body to death!

I forgot to bring it today- but I was reading the "Conceive" Magazine from my drs office and there's a company that does mail order icecream different flavors for 9 months for $50. I clipped it out and left it on DH's nightstand for a hint if we get good news on friday! I love love love Icecream!

and for how many they froze, very upset- don't know why- they only froze 3!!! so what happened to the other 19?! did they all die in 1 day? lab called DH and DH told me but no explanation- I need to call today. as of the day of the ET we had 22 left and of those 22 they only froze 3?! I had already said, if it doesn't happen in this cycle, and using all the FEs we have too, then that's it. I thought we'd have at least 10 to freeze and if it didn't take this time, we could have at least 5 more tries, we have 2 more tries and that's it after this! kinda puts more pressure on this one.

Kandice- Only 4 more days….how exciting! Sorry to hear about your embies. I think that is inexcusable that your clinic gave you no explanation. Hopefully you can get that sorted out but I cannot imagine if there were viable embies they wouldn't freeze them?? Please keep us posted… And I love the ice cream idea. My 2ww starts this week…may have to start dropping hints to DH as well!

Mrs B So glad to hear that FET went off smoothly on Friday! Sorry to hear you are coming down with a cold…all the more reason for DH to continue waiting on you hand and foot!

Katt I agree…why must we work at all?? I think I am much better suited to be a lady of leisure!! Try not to let yourself get stressed during the next 2 weeks. Stay strong for your embies!!!

Anna- WoooHooo on your great follies!! I triggered last night as well with my EC Tuesday morning at 8:45. I hope we both get BFPs together! When is your pg test?

Cookholmes- I am glad to hear this cycle is going well so far. Good luck on Friday for your scan!

Nimble- Started Stimms today right?? YAY!!!!! How'd it go??

Nicki- ((Hugs)) I totally understand where you're coming from as I'm sure we all do. It's so easy to let IVF consume you and take charge of your life. Take some time out to breathe and enjoy all of the other great things you have going for. The last thing anyone wants is for you to be stressed or sad during your cycle!!! We'll be here for ya when you feel like dropping in!!

Marcia- Doing an AF jig for you! Hope she rears her ugly head soon and you can start your cycle!

Vicky- Sorry you didn't get your natural miracle but I'm happy for you that you have a plan in place and 4 wonderful snow babies!!! How many will you thaw in April?

Sha- Did you have a base scan today? How did it go?

Rae- So jealous of your pool weather!! It was nice in Indianapolis this weekend but certainly not that nice! Luckily I'm going to Florida on vacation in 2 weeks so I'm looking forward to some relaxing on the beach. Hopefully while celebrating my BFP!! We find out right before we leave…

As for me, I had my last follie scan yesterday and I had about 15 follies measuring between 18-20 so we triggered last night. Trigger shot was a breeze even though the needle looked long and scary. DH said it felt "weird" pushing a needle into my bum!! I'm very bloated and a little crampy today so I'm anxious for the EC tomorrow morning. And then Friday will be the transfer. I'm really looking forward to that.

The best news is that my pg test was supposed to be the 28th but DH and I leave for vacation that day. My RE said she wants to leave room to do 2 tests before I go so now my first test will be the 25th and the second will be the 27th. Which means my 2ww started yesterday!! DH and I were so overwhelmed last night thinking that in TWO weeks I will know if I'm pregnant. We've waited so long for this and now that the time is here I almost don't want it to be in case it doesn't turn out the way we want…does that make sense or is it just the 10,000cc of HCG making me overemotional and weepy????

I'll check in tomorrow after the EC and let you know how it goes!!

Steph, trigger was last night too and my bum is sore at the moment. I am so uncomfortable right now too. I think both ovaries are poking me when I walk. I hope that's a good thing. EC is at 6:30Am tomorrow and transfer on Friday...good luck with your EC!!

Question for you guys...I have acu scheduled for 6pm day of EC. Should I still go for it or cancel? I'll be having acu before ET also.

Anna and Steph, great news about your follies and congrats on triggering! Wow, you're almost there!!! I hope your ECs tomorrow will be a breeze (as much as they can be). Good luck!!

Steph, what a good time to go on vacation! I'm sure it will make the waiting a little bit easier. I'm a little jealous - been pining to get out of here for a while since Xmas... Luckily the weather was so good this weekend (still ok warm but cloudy and rainy) and MIL will be here in two weeks and then we'll go to the Grand Canyon and Las Vegas. Florida sounds fab, though...


Kandice, four days.... I'm thinking of you honey and sending you lots of baby dust!

As for the soreness of my boobs, I also thought it would really do me in in the beginning! I was hurting so much for about a week before the BFP and about two weeks afterwards. After that, although they are still a little fuller than usual, the horrible soreness mostly went away and there's no painful "tightness" anymore. So don't worry, it's not very likely to be a constant companion

Mrs B., good to hear all went well on Fri and that your frosties are now happily swimming inside of you. Good luck & lots of PMA for the 2ww!!

Katt, I hope your work stress will ease a bit, you must be quite overwrought. I've thanked my luck for this spring's schedule so many times - if I had to work like last fall I would have keeled over and died with all the tiredness, nausea and the works that have come with the pregnancy. I'm a freelancer, so sometimes I work seven-day weeks and sometimes it's more quiet... and TG it's now my time to read books and take long naps! Would it be possible for you to take a day or two off to unwind a little bit? And of course, good luck with your 2ww!

Yarnista - hope EC went well today and you had many ripe eggies for your DH swimmers

Steph - thats a great number and it sounds like they are all jigging around waiting to come out! It is wierd thinking that in 2ww that you are likely to be pg - but its a great thought - keep it there.

Mrs B - wow hand and foot waiter service, yr DH sounds like a star - hope he keeps it up for you. Can't wait to meet up with you guys soon.

Katt - so know what you mean about work however it does have it's plus side in that sometimes it takes your mind off this and makes time go a little quicker in the 2ww.

Kandice - really sorry to hear about yr embies - i think you need to ask the clinic why, as you say thats a lot that didnt get frozen - however you now also need to concentrate on yr two little ones floating around finding their new home for the next 8mnths!

Anna - poor bum - hope it feeling a little better Good luck tomorrow - can't wait to hear your numbers. As for acu, I don't know, I guess it may help prepare the lining but as you said you're having one before ET anyway...give them a ring and see what they say.

Cookholmes - is this your baseline scan on Friday? Wasn't sure where you were in your cycle? Hope the cold disappears and that you feel a little better.

Good news for me, scan went well today, lining nice and thin, ovaries in the right place , collected all the drugs and paid the bill so I'm all set to go tomorrow night with my first eggie food shot. Had acu tonight too and fell asleep but it did hurt alot tonight but she said thats because of the drugs and kidneys. Hopefully she has put a stop to the horrendous headaches that I have had and the sweatie nights too!!

Thanks for asking, I'm doing just fine. The appendicitis scare seems to be over and I'm happily volunteering this week as a literacy teacher as I have very little work at the moment. Unfortunately we're down to 22 degrees Celsius (72 F) so no pool lounging this week. But it's nice and warm though

Hi to everyone else hope you’re all doing good on this nutty train.

My scan went very well, lining lovely and thin, ovaries looking well (well as good as they can look with PCOS) and I started stimming tonight wooooooo hooooooo. Have to go back for a follie scan on Friday to see if the strength is right for me, fingers crossed that my ovaries like their food.

hi there ladies i havnt been on for a while as i was to start last month an docs put it off to this cycle af was to be here two days ago but as usual she never arrives when you want her i have been reading through all the posts and my goddness yous are so far on so can you all get jigging for me please

My EC went well today, everyone at the clinic made me comfortable and are so kind. I feel like this whole experience has made my DH and I even closer which is such a good feeling. The doc said he thought the count was around 20 which I was surprised because they said there were around 50 follies, does that mean that maybe he left some or do they usually take them all? I meant to ask that, I guess I can always ask tomorrow.
We are both very excited and hopeful and I'm looking forward to not going to work tomorrow! No Phys. Ed for me and no crazy kids! I teach in the middle school in the inner city so this is a nice break. Hope all of you are doing well, thanks so very much for all your well wishes!

Hey Sonya, yeah this Lupron is really kicking my butt! It makes me so tired and now I am just anxiously awaiting AF . I stopped taking BCP's on the 7th and AF has not arrived yet. I have my baseline scan tomorrow but I am really nervous that they will post pone starting stims until AF arrives. I am trying not to worry and just see what happens but it is sooooo hard with my work when the schedule changes. Well enough whining now. Hope all is going well for you and good luck at your scan.

Hi Girls, How is everyone. I'm so sorry for neglecting you all. So much going on, and posting on Dec/Jan too. It's hard to keep up. I promise I'll read up and catch up with you all. Definitely some familiar names on this thread. AF finally arrived, and started BCP yesterday, so I'm well on my way. Baseline is April 2, and I start lupron April 4. HOORAY! I'm ready to move along.
