Marin: I did my 1st cycle in November but it was cancelled due to poor response to meds. I'm on the micro lupron protocol this time so I only did micro lupron for 2 days then started stims today. Lots of shots for this protocol - 5 per day. I do all my shots in the stomach. Good luck to you too! We are also doing ICSI due to poor motility, morphology - the works.

I believe they have DH take docycline (sp?) when you are doing ICSI.

Good luck to everyone's upcoming ERs and ETs!

TammyS: Quick question for you since you are also on the micro lupron protocol. Did you get AF between stopping BCPs and starting stims (which for me is only 5 days)? I expected a light and easy AF but I'm on my 2nd day of stims and she's still going strong! I'm a little worried about my lining recovering in such a short timeframe. It's probably nothing to worry about quite yet, but I'm just curious.

hooray! a whole day without shots or prodding!! trigger was super easy- just 1 shot to the belly, and premeasured to boot, sorry ladies, I decided to stay home to trigger - Marin's still on top as extreme shooter

tammy- how're you feeling today?

as for Doxycyclene - DH is on it as there are naturally white blood cells in semen, and REs want to reduce the amount of extra stuff in there, as they need to look for the best sperm, it just sort of clears the field a bit

trigger buddies???

mia- I know it sort of sux but, if they decide to keep you going a bit longer, it will be for the best- it was mostly my lower estro level that prolonged my trigger- but I'd rather they went in there and were able to find a soccer-team's worth of mature eggies, than just 3 or 4 since we've gone through this- hang loose!! 8)

suga- you can do it- wait!!! glad yer boobs are big  Mine started out huge, so, i'm actually fearing how they'll be when I'm BFP

bat- the progesto suppositories are to be administered vaginally 3xs per day- I think this can be frustrating, however I think I'd like a break from needles - progesterone in oil (PIO) is what I'll be doing- Hope DH can manage to give me the shots -

alls well here- best to my ladies!!!

RBJean: No worries. I got AF after starting stims and it is normal. It was lighter than usual and didnt last long. My lining thickened right up to 12mm which is great. I was worried about the same thing, but no need to be cause it is normal.

Loopie: I am feeling a little bit better today. I had alot of pain last night and was awake every 2 hours. I got really nausea and vomitted last night around midnight. I didnt have anesthesia...so I have no idea why I got sick. I may have a little bit of OHSS. I felt better after getting sick, though, so I think the medicine they gave me yesterday to help with OHSS is doing the trick and working for me. The cramping and pelvic pain is a little better today too. Tomorrow is your day!!! You are going to do great!!! Let us know how it goes as soon as you can. My back surgery was L-5 and S-1. They cut out a herniated disk and took out some bone fragments and bone spurs, too.

MIA: You will get there...your time is coming! I am so excited for you! How did your u/s and b/w go today? What is your E2 level now?

Sugabeanzs: I am praying for you and wishing you sticky baby dust! Is it day 10 after ER or ET or HCG? I hope your cold gets better.

21Bat: I am soo bloated too. If you dont like the shots then maybe you can switch after awhile. I think that is what I am gonna do. I start them tonight. I heard that they dont hurt till after you have been doing them for awhile.
And, no to your question ...the trigger didnt hurt. Although, I had special instructions on doing them in my belly and with a smaller needle. So it wasnt intramuscular. I have had the intramuscular ones with IUI's and they didnt hurt either.

Jomae: How are you feeling??? I am sorry to hear about your car accident! Where are you at in this journey?

Rinnie: How was triggering? Enjoy your shot free day! How are you doing?

Sage: Yayy for AF (this time)!

Amy27: Are you on for tomorrow ER too!? Yayyy!! I am so excited for you girls.

Marin: I have heard of the doxycline for both males and females. It is pretty common. Did you start stims today? How did it go? You are right about ovarian torsion....I was told the same thing.

FERTILIZATION REPORT!!

Well, we have 8 embabies growing, maturing, and dividing. We started with 12 eggs. 10 were mature. Out of those they did ICSI on 8 of them. 7 of them took...1 did not. The 2 that they decided to see if they fertilize on their own...1 did...1 didnt. So we have 8 all together out of 12.

I asked her about egg quality, fragmentation, etc. She said none of that will show till tomorrow. I told her I am hoping to go for a 5 day transfer...she said usually they need 10 good ones on day 2 (tomorrow) to chance it to 5 days....but we will see. So if all 8 continue to grow and divide well...then we just may chance it. We will know tomorrow morning. So please pray that all 8 embabies are good ones tomorrow. :D

Doubtful...I am just praying with all my might that we can. I will then know that if they made it 5 days out of the womb ....then chances are those are the ones that will take. The decision would be easy then. Transfer 2 blasts. Otherwise with a 3 day ...I am struggling with 2 or 3 embabies. We will know tomorrow. Everyone at the office expects 3 days....I am hoping and praying something great happens between now and then.

He only felt comfortable putting 2 back in me because I am so young. He was going to do three but then asked if I would consider reduction and I said no way. So only 2 babies in me! Hopefully one is sticking!! Day 10 is since the HCG shot. So the baby should be implanted by now. And yes, the bloating continues! haha.

The HCG shot was not bad for me either. It only hurt the day after and the next because the muscle was so sore. All these meds in the stomach amaze me because most of mine go in the back into the muscle. Never head or tummy ones until you ladies. Interesting.

I know the test is this week!! I just hope they come back positive!!! My day three embryos better stick! :)

Sugabeanzs: 10 days since HCG is way too early to test. Implantation can happen anywhere from 6-12 (more likely 8-10) days after ER...you are 8 days since ER...I would say you could have implantation now or in the next 2 days...so you would need to wait at least 4 more days before you will get a positive reading. That puts you at 2 days before expected missed period when an hpt is more likely to work correctly. Patience dear....It wont be much longer. Due to your age ...I would say 2 is good, also. I am only thinking 3 @ 3days because I am 39 going on 40. When are you do to take a test at the office? This coming Friday? My fingers are crossed for you!

Kbear- were you the big winner in Atlantic City??? I hope you had some time to enjoy yourself and relax :)

Mia- how was the massage? Has your E2 gone up? Betcha it has :D

Sage- come on AF!!! :o

Rio- I never knew about the perfume. Thanks so much for that bit of info. I plan on using it. I'm suprised that I wasn't told anything because I wear body lotion and perfume. Hummm... So, How are you feeling?

Suga- Take care of that cold. :( I always find that a cup of hot tea with honey makes me feel better. Just make sure its decaf. Sorry the PIO shots are getting tougher. But you can do it!!!! PMA. :D

Tammy- wooohooo! Eight is great!!! Yeah baby! I will pray extra hard that you can do a 5-day blast! You are so lucky to have been awake for the ER. Wow. When I read your post to DH, he told me he wanted me to be awake. I was like, "it's not an option you big goof! Relish in Tammy's moment...I just did. I'm going UNDER!"

Well I went back this morning and the nurse has already called me back. My E2 is 3220  LS= (8 total) @18.5, 16.1, 18.7, 14.8, 16.4, 12.3, 10.9, and 12.8. RS=(6 total) @ 17.2, 15.8, 17.0, 11.1, 12.4 and 11.4 So it looks like all 14 they counted at suppression decided to respond!!! My lining is only 6.4. So since my progesterone has not started to rise yet, they are giving me one more day. I go back tomorrow and pretty sure I will trigger tomorrw night. :D

Tammys- 8 is awesome! wow. Glad things are going so well.

I did my first stim injection this morning. was pretty easy. I primed the pen last night and figured out how to work it ahead of time. I didnt want to be scrambling at the last minute this morning. The SQ injections have been easy so far.

Love the updates from all the ER people! Cant wait to hear all the BFPs!

Yayy Weezie! We sound so similar. I had an E2 of 3273 and 14 follicles originally, too. Hopefully your lining will come up a bit. Are you taking folic acid or baby aspirin? I hope you get to trigger tomorrow night. Fingers crossed. :D
