Gina, your babies are beautiful. I pray they both continue to do well. I'm so glad to hear of a victory this week. :) Congratulations!

We made it up to the lake. It's chilly outside this week, but it's a beautiful escape, and the house is cozy. Had some good laughs today. That felt nice. :) We think we settled on a middle name for our little one. Thinking it will be Marlo Joy. We've been talking about it for awhile, and think it's suits her and us perfectly. Sleepy now, time to get off my feet. I hope you all have a wonderful day tomorrow.

Gina -- Congratulations! The boys look perfect and beautiful. I'm glad to hear they are doing so well. I hope you are getting some rest too.

Karenvancouver -- I understand how you can get worried but really everything is in your favor. I worry because I'm not really looking pregnant and don't seem to look much different than I did a month ago. I realize my baby is still small and I was pretty physically fit beforehand, but still, I worry too. I do have a doppler and check the heart beat daily. I heard it again this morning and it sounded wonderful. I hope that means all is well.

Amanda -- So sorry about the GD diagnosis. It does seem to be getting popular around here. I think I read somewhere that in women over 35 years old the chance of GD is 60%. I hope the steriods help your eczema. That sounds so miserable. Are you taking the same dose of methylprednisolone every day or are you doing a burst/taper? Hope it works.

AFM -- No real news right now. Next appt is next Friday 4/29. I hope all is well in there. I don't think I'm getting a scan but we'll see.

Hi girls and happy spring break to all the teachers and mommy's of school aged kids. It has been a busy week but I have been reading and following along

Gina Huge congratulations on the boys and they are beautiful!! and what great weight on both of them!!! I am wishing you a speedy recovery :)

Blair welcome and it is so great to see you on this side!!! I can't wait until your u/s and I too am guessing maybe its more than 1 in there :)

Mellow I am so glad Marlo is doing well and I hope the lake helps you recharge your energy a bit. I love the middle name Joy!

Margi I am so sorry you are having SCH and have to be on bed rest for 4 weeks but please be careful and stay resting as much as you can. Please try not to worry most twin mommy's here have had SCH and all of us I think including myself have had bleeding episodes. My last bleeding episode was at 12 weeks and all is well so try to relax and visualize everything going well...Hugs you are always in my prayers sweety

Lou in my first pregnancy (granted that was years ago and I was in great shape back then...lol) I did not look pregnant until 28 weeks so being in shape will keep you looking not pregnant way longer.

KJM you had me rolling laughing with your comments on maternity clothes because it is so true..lol I have double D boobs and just have to wear a tank top under most maternity tops otherwise it just looks like I am trying to showcase the girls.... I actually ab buying non maternity tops but ones with loose belly and in bigger sizes and it has really worked for me so far.

Leora I understand what you mean about struggling with faith but in the end it will come back to you because I am sure it is a part of who you are you just have to give yourself time to heal emotionally and I am sure once you are holding these beautiful babies in your arms your faith will come back like a flood

Karenvancouver I know how scary it is to always worry but try no reading about those things (2nd tri m/c) and keep telling yourself that everything will be ok... I obsessed at my Anatomy scan and was so scared to find out something is wrong but I think that is in our nature (having gone through years of infertility and getting bad news) but as Sonya said in earlier posts "more babies turn out ok than not" and I guess that's what I try to tell myself...so maybe it'll help you too :)

Barbara and Leora I have been such a cry baby these past 22 weeks...lol the other day my DVD player broke and as DH was trying to fix it my computer stopped working and all of the sudden I became 5 years old again bawling my eyes out that "nothing works for me" it was actually embarrassing. I have had another incident where something really funny happened and I was laughing so hard I started to cry and this went back and forth for a couple of minutes...I am surprised DH does not think I am crazy yet...lol

AFM All is going well. Had my OB appt yesterday and I am measuring right on schedule and great news....Our placenta previa has resolved so we now got clearance to ...um... be intimate again after 22 weeks of abstinence...lol so I have a question especially of you girls who have abdominal cerclages and are having your cervix monitored..Do you get any kind of bleeding or cramps? is it ok to "o" I mean my ob seems to think its ok but I am nervous to try...lol I mean I want to try just don't want to regret it. I would appreciate any suggestions.

Well I gotta run. I am the spring break entertainment for my 10 year old since he has a cast on so off to the zoo we go :)

I think getting ultrasounds of our little ones are like crack. once you get one you need more and more and more. haha I can see where people say they can't stop worrying. I am the same way. One day I am fine and the next I wonder if my baby is still in there. UUGHH i hate worrying. I won't get an u/s till 12 weeks. 3 more weeks to go. Hoping i can pick up the hb on a doppler soon, that might help

lou - He's got me on 2 tablets a day so no burst/taper. Really hoping it helps because my poor skin has been miserable.

annashope - My MFM who did my TAC said sex and orgasm are fine. He just recommended using a condom because the prostaglandins in semen can cause the cervix to soften. Of course DH & I get so nervous we've put off "relations" and just do other things instead. We found the worry was tampering with the mood. :D

chris - I know what you mean. My last scan was at 20 weeks and then my next one will be at 32 weeks. I'm going through u/s withdrawls LOL. I'm a big fan of the doppler though because that really got us through some weeks of uncertainty.

Anyone picked up any nursing nightgowns yet? Most I've seen have some kind of lace or trim around the neckline and my skin is just so sensitive I don't want any of that. If you've seen any nursing or button down nightgowns that are all cotton, let me know. Thanks!!

Rio: Those gowns are awesome! Thank you for posting.

Gina: What perfect babies! I bet you are over the moon! Has it sunk in yet?

I love the crying stories! I've never been an emotional type - in some ways, I kinda like this glimpse into emotions-gone-wild, it's freeing.

AFM: We did our hospital tour and epidural class last night. It was surreal seeing the birth rooms and bassinets - my logic tells me that Brooke's coming soon but being in that environment really drove it home. We're pre-registered and signed up for delivery. I'm pretty excited - we're delivering at a small but new and advanced hospital. The rooms are private, really nice and even have a fold out bed for Dad. Even the family waiting are nice and comfortable. I'm happy that we are delivering at such a nice place.

Lou: The epidural class was a video showing diagrams about where the epidural goes and a video of an actual epidural being given. The class covered when to get an epidural, the risks, the benefits and alternatives to epidurals. A lot of the information, I already knew from reading but it was good for my husband to learn about them too.

I also had a doctor appointment today... Brooke is head down, her placenta has cleared my cervix, my blood pressure was great - the doctor was really happy which made me happy. I'm still at 9lbs gain but my doctor said that Brooke and I are both healthy so don't even give it a second thought.

I did the one hour GD test - I'm holding my breath for the results... I hate watching what I eat and am dreading hearing that I might have to.
