Yeah, Kimberly, where are you? Have your babies made an early appearance?

Di---sorry to hear about the reflux. Ugh. I hope things get better.

Still hoping for more sleep over here! Changed formulas to a version for gassy/fussy babies. Hope it helps!

Hi Gils,

I'm Kimberly's friend and she has aked me to up date everyone.
She is in the hospital and has been in for over a week. Kimberly and the babies are doing good but she will not be leaving until she has her babies. She has been having contractions and the doctor is giving her meds to slow it down. She is on bed rest and they are hoping to keep the babies in her for at least a week longer.
She hope's all is well and will report back as soon as she can.

Hey everyone!!!

One of my nurses just informed me that there was a computer here I could use now and then!!! WHOOOHOOOOO!!!!!!! My dear friend Bobbi was sweet enough to post for me this morning but I thought I would take my few free minutes and update you all real fast. Sorry it will be short.

Last Wed. I had a stress test and the babies were fine but I had a lot of contractions so I ended up on the machine most of the day. They did and u/s and the babies measured a week ahead of gestation and were 4.6 lbs. and 4.8 lbs. or about there. So we were happy w/ that. Then at the exam I was almost dialated to a 2 and over 75% efaced. My contractions were every other minute and we were just hoping for 48 hours so the betamethazone steriod would do it's job but luckily with some magnezium and tributiline we are held back and only having 6 contractions an hour now. YEAH!!
So, our goal is to make it to 34 weeks and then just let me deliver. With my luck I will be just fine and make it all the way to full term. I'm on total bedrest and most likely won't get to leave here until we have babies.

Glad to hear everyone is doing so well. I miss the daily info and reports on all the little ones. Glad all the babies are getting big and mommies are getting rest. I will report back as soon as I can steal this computer again.

Take care everyone!!!!!

Kimberly- I am so glad you were able to find a computer! It is good to hear that you are doing well. I was afraid something like this might happen when you said you had lost your mucus plug. Luckily the medicine seems to be working for you. Please keep us updated and know that my thoughts are with you and your little ones!

We are back from our trip. The babies are so spoiled. They scream if someone isn't holding them all the time. Hopefully this will pass soon!

Kimberly--Glad to hear that things are "under control" for now. Try to rest if you can. I know it's hard at the hospital. Those beds are not the best for preggo women!

Laura--I know what you mean. When we got back to town, my two screamed more than usual. Don't worry, they'll get back to normal in 2-3 days. Good luck!

Still waiting on a full night's sleep here. We did a little better last night. Only one interruption in 6 hours. :?

Hi Guys,

Just popping on quickly while the boys have their afternoon nap. Life is very hectic to say the least but I wouldn't change it for the world. Everytime I come on, I get only enough time to read your posts then no time to reply.

All is going well. The boys sleep from 10pm to 5am most nights and have put on so much weight that they have caught up to their full term playmates. Jasper is a little slower with his growing as he tends to regurgatate a lot of his feeds but he's still within normal limits.

Kimberely all the best for the next couple of days (?weeks). This is the most scary/frustrating/exciting time of all but will be all worth it. I hope however they arrive is both easy and stress-free for all of you!

Big hugs to all the other soon-to-be mummies and a wish of 5 minutes to yourself for those who's buddles of joy are already here!

Hey Everyone!

Thanks for all the well wishes. We are all doing just fine over here. No changes so far and we are expecting to make it to 34 weeks Wednesday and then slowly get off the IV meds and on to oral ones. There may even be a chance I can go home if all goes well. :D :D :D It's hard to believe how hard doing nothing is. It's enough to drive me nuts but I'm sure I'll forget all about it as soon as I am out of here and have two sweet little ones to manage. I actually have my hairdresser coming here to my room today so I am looking forward to a change of pace and some matching roots!

Seems relatively quiet over here. I think that's a good sign. Hopefully all the vacationing babies are back on track now. I LOVED the new photos of the babies as well. Can't believe how much they change in such short time spans. Guess it goes to show you that we should cherish every minute. Di's little ones sure look a lot alike. ADORABLE!!!

Hope all is well. The meds make my eyes lazy so it's hard to be on line for too long. Best wishes to everyone and take care!

Hugs~

Kimberly--I'm glad things are settling down. I hope you get to go home! that would be sonice. Wow, how lucky are you that your hairdresser makes hospital appts.! ha ha!

Things here are getting better. The babies are sleeping anywhere between 5 and 7 hours now. In fact, last night my MIL and SIL came over and spent the night, while DH and I went to the Marriott to celebrate our anniversary (which was like 2 or 3 weeks ago). We actually got a full night sleep! Wahoo! It was a wonderful anniversary gift! :D Now, I hope the babies sleep well for us tonight. I honestly think I'm a bit drowsy today because of all the sleep I got last night (I slept from 11 pm until 10 am! With one pee break at 7  )

Well, gotta run. Ellie is needing my attention!

Kim- Glad to hear that your babies are sleeping longer. Isn't the uninterupted sleep wonderful!

Kimberly- I am so happy that you are hanging in there. If you could make 36 weeks that would be great!

DH and I are going to Florida over Labor Day weekend. It will be the first time I've left them for more than a couple hours. My mother is staying with them so I am not worried about them, just me! I think I will have baby withdrawl, but it will be nice for DH and I have a little time together.

I still can't believe how chubby they are. They started out so little (4lbs) and now they have big chubby cheeks and legs. They now smile at you when you smile at them, which is so fun. They also have started to babble. It is so great to see them smile and make little baby noises. Here a current picture of them. Jeremy on the left, Nicholas on the right.

Hi all

Kimberly - hope those babies stay in for a little longer - keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Kim - I can't wait until my babies start to sleeep through - just seems that they wake up like clockwork so I think it may be some time yet.......

Lauralou - great shot of the boys - my they have grown! It is nice when they start to smile and interact a little more.

Me - Absolutely FLAT OUT! Had a really fussy day with the babies yesterday as they kept waking each other up :( Today I put them in seperate rooms for their morning sleep and it worked - one has just woken up so a few hours sleep for him - yay! Bronte is still sleeping. Makes them so much more bearable when they have slept.

Cheers all

Hi gals,

I've been checking in on you and I'm trying to keep up to date!

I started back to school yesterday. Today was my first day with students. Luckily, I'm only working halftime. so, I get to spend my mornings with Ellie and Braeden (they're best times actually--they're happy morning people!). Then I go to work from 11:30 until 3:15. Not too bad, really. It's actually a nice break and allows me to be a grown up again. Of course, I miss the babies while I"m at work, but the time tends to go quickly. My dad watches them most days, and other days they go to a nice older lady who babysits a handful of kids and lives nearby.

The only downside is, I usually miss a good nap for the babies during the day (and that's when I usually can get some housework done). so, I'm pretty busy whenever I get a moment of quiet from the babies.

I'm happy to report they're eating well, sleeping more (not through the whole night yet, though...about 6 or 7 hours), and they're starting to be interested in playing with their activity mat and small rattles, etc. They're just growing so fast!

Laura, your boys are precious! So big...isn't it amazing how far they've come along?

Kimberly, how are you doing? Did you get to go home?

Em, Di, how are you hanging in there?

Girls,

I just have a little time, but I had to let you know...THEY SLEPT THROUGH THE NIGHT LAST NIGHT!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D

We took a walk around 8ish, took a bath around 9:30. Fed around 10:15 or so. They were in bed by 11. THen they didn't get up until 8 am!!!! I do think Braeden was up around 6:00 for a while cooing, but he didn't fuss, so I didn't get out of bed. So, I think he fell back asleep for a while, but we were so excited that they did it! Now, we'll have to see how they do tonight. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they go at least 7 hours. We'll see. Wish us luck!
