Here's the definition: Yuppie is an acronym for "Young Urban Professional", a term often used pejoratively with connotations of selfishness, materialism, and superficiality. Originally the term held some positive meaning, but quickly led to backlash against those that self-identified with the term. The phrase "Die Yuppie Scum" quickly entered the public eye, particularly on bumper stickers.
So you can see why I don't want to be one of them...People would want me to die and would call me scum...
But, the website I got them blurb from did go on to say that if you were a pregnant Yuppie you were then referred to as a Puppie...I want to be a puppie!! 
I'll take the scum title, as long as I could be a pregnant one...There I go being a whale penis again...

Christine...Too funny about the vampires...My husband was so proud of himself when he came home after getting his blood drawn for our clinic. He said, "I was only out of it for about 20 minutes this time!". I couldn't believe a big tough guy like him could be so frightened of something. He literally had to lie down for that long before he could stand up without passing out. They didn't take as many from him, either. He cracked me up when he got home. He wouldn't even let me get near his arm where they drew the blood. I just laughed. You know, I just realized, I've been talking to him about acupuncture, and he keeps dodging me on the subject. It never occurred to me that the needles were a no-no...I'm such a whale penis sometimes...
Well, he probably would go for a massage, so maybe we'll stick to that for him. Too funny...Aunty...I only started the Feb thread cause another gal from my October thread wanted to start one, so thought that might be good. It might also cut down on some of the traffic. I do have a tendency to post very long ones...I know you probably didn't notice...
I totally am getting confused with everyone though. I hate that...I really like to know everyone, and don't like it when I'm overwhelmed. I didn't mean to offend or step on any toes, if I did...
