I'm so sorry to hear that. I don't know why it happened. Could it be they didn't like the solution they were in? I know that the sperm needs to activate the division somehow. Did you do ICSI or just IVF? Maybe walls of the eggs were too thick....
What did the doctor say?
I got 9 follicles (1st scan showed 11), out of them 7 eggs, only 5 fertilized (even through ICSI) and 1 of them is a low grade one.

WISCONSINGA i am so sorry to here that none off your eggs were fertilised. Did you do icsi? You need to ask the doctor what went wrong was it the sperm or the eggs that was the problem.. also to find out the quality of your eggs ect. But i am so so sorry for you.
Have an update the clinic have phoned and told me to start using ovulation sticks from sat. explained to the nurse that Dr had seen no follicule but she said that the cnsultant has advised me to continue. This does not make sence to me surely there has to be follicules to ovulate????

I had my us and bw yesterday and the RE decided to wait until tomorrow to determine if this cycle will be cancelled. My acupuncturist did some points today to help prevent this. I hope it works!

Vicky, thank you for the tip with PIO. It was so much better! I also took a shower after the shot and massaged my butt with the water. It felt good

Has anyone had plugged ears? I've had it for 3 days in a row already. It starts around 9am and stays for several hours or half a day. Weird..... What's wrong with me???? Can it be PIO side effect?

Hi all, so much is happening its hard to keep up.
GBnut, are you on a natural FET cycle? i wasn't given that option it was drug controlled, however i did have to have 3 AF's after my last IVF before i could get a day 21 appointment. Good luck and hope it all works out this month.

WISCONSINGAL, I read that sometimes eggs can get damaged by the ICSI procedure itself. So, I think if the doc doesn't give you any explanation, switch clinics (if you want or can afford to try again). For me this cycle is pretty much the only try unless I can freeze any and do it maybe later, when we can afford it.
You spent so much money, they better have some answers for you!

i guess the other 3 don't look that good that's why they are not doing a 5-day transfer. They want to look at them for one more day to decide if they can freeze them or not.
