hi ladies how many of you watched the Dr winston programme last nite god i cried loads tried not to but it wa really weird watching someone else go through what we are all going through. For them all to have BFP at the end aswell. It waz amazing seeing it from a male point of view aswell and watching them go through the tests. It really made think DH hides his feeling and never really seemed that bothered when we did IVF and it failed. But suppose men find it hard to show there feelings and due to the fact that i was on meds my hormones were all over made me more emotional than him. It was lovely to see at the end them with there babies. I think also the fact that each couple had a medical reason for infertilty made it hard as we have no reason for why we havent been able to get pregant. This made me want to cry even more and more frustrated cant wait til doc appointment to find out were we stand.

anyway sorry for mumbling on just feeling a bit down today. Hope you ladies are ok

Hi Everyone!
I had a crazy day yesterday and when I got home I was to tired to read up! You miss one day and its hard to catch up!
Well its day 3 of shots and things are going well. After the double stabb incident from my husband he is a little leary about giving the shots. Thankfully my mom lives down the road and comes over and gives me the shots. I am going on a overnight trip on Saturday so I guess my DH and I will have to figure out the shot thing. I am just not sure I can give it to myself!! Im having the worst hot flashes and my stomach is really sore and crampy. I am just finishing up my AF so hopefully that will take care of some of this pain. I am also having the most vivd dreams right now!

T.C I loved your comment about your dh starting a my space for his fish! That is too funny. My dh loves fish and when we met he had a fish tank. I hated that thing! When we moved to our new house his fish died and I havent let him get anymore! Like I need to compete against anything else for attention! My DH doesnt have an x-box but loves online gaming. He plays a game called Warcraft and spends a ton of time playing it!

Aunty: If there is a cream to make your DH clean up I will take a lifetime supply! He cant seem to figure out the dishwasher. "Look the door opens door closes and you put dishes in and then magically they become clean! The magic doesnt apply to the countertop!"

Carolyn: I am sorry to hear they could only reach one side. That makes me very sad. I am sure that the 6 that they got will be perfect. I hope you are getting some rest and having positive thoughts.

Christie: I died laughing about your dh and passing out! And you want him to get accu? Somehow I dont think that is going to happen! Thankfully we are the ones who go through child birth! If not I think the human race would be extinct!

Sassy: So glad that you seem to be relaxing. It is so hard to stay positive and know everything that is supposed to happen. I get so confused sometimes but I have a great IVF nurse who seems to be able to calm me down and answer my question in a way that I can understand.

Mom20 - I watched the Winston programme last night as well. Well I was of course in floods of tears especially after EC I was so emotional anyway. I think that it is a fab programme and I hope many people are watching and finding out a little bit more about what we have to go through. I was nearly swimming out the room by the end of it!

Sonya - sorry that you are having sweats and feeling rough. It will get better when AF passes - honest. If you have to do the jabs yourself you'll manage. You don';t think that you can but actually after a while it becomes easy and at least you are in control so no double jabs!!!

Jeck - Thanks for dropping in hun. I adore yoyr ticker. I so hope that the adoption process is going to go well for you

Charity - Glad that you are staying here and not running away from us!!! I am not sure about all this talk of whales penises - did I miss something whilst I was having my eggs collected!!!???

Shantala - watched XFactor on Sunday. Slightly surprised that Ben was in bottom 2 but did not think that his second song was great. i wish you could vote out rather than voting in. I would be texting madly to get those Scot Boys out although sense that it might just be Rays turn. Here that it is Barry Manilow songs this week. You'll not need to dream soon as it will be real! Ssalgado - sorry that the patches are making you sick. I have not used them before so afraid that I cannot make any suggestions for you. It is great that now ET is scheduled. What a Xmas present you'll be getting!!!!

Sassynly - What an amazing protocol. That sounds so unique and tailored for you. Your consultant sounds like he is doing all he can for you. I hate it when they just used the standard protocol especially if it has not worked in the past. Just seems lazy to me. Good luck with stimmies

Aunty - so pleased that you are not leaving us and moving to Feb thread. We could not function without you. If you move then I shall move to Feb too!!!!!

Sorry for those who I have missed but as Charity says, this is a huge thread and it can sometimes be tough to keep track of everyone especially when your brain feel like mush!!

Aunty - Rachel - Christine and everyone else - Thanks again for all the support. My clinic sadly does not call today with a fert report. You just get a call if you have none and are not needed tomorrow so jumping out of my skin everytime my mobile rings.

Slept so deeply last night as was totally & utterly exhausted. Tummy a bit like a truck went over it this morning but has eased through day. Have a bit of a cold to add to not feeling 100%. Anyhow some of my PMA is back. Focused on 6 that I do have as you have all told me too. Have acu booked for 8.45am. My dh will take me in the car. Then we'll head to clinic for 10am. Then go from clinic back to acu for a session after transfer. He'll be my chauffeur for the day!!! Then will be chilling out Thursday pm - Fri - Sat (XFACTOR!) and Sunday. Nothing to do during that time at all other than sit around in my PJs, read Hello magazine and watch day time TV!!!

I'll try to post tomorrow even if v briefly if my dh will allow me before he packs me off to bed. A little excited but trying to stay calm as I can.

I am in Edinbugh for a few hours i di the journey early this morning as i waanted to come up to visit my parents. james will fly up on friday to drive me home on Sunday. So i will catch up more fully next week when home as m& D do not have broadband!!!!!!!

Will be back tomorrow briefly to see how caroline got on and to wish Dory the best of luck.

No Symptoms from me except my normal AF pains.

Mom im so sorry your feeling down its very normal to feel that way i have my moments too but we will do this we get our little blessings ..we dont get to see the show over here i wish we did i think it would help a lot with the understanding..somebody upset my DH yesterday and im still upset about it but more determind to make this happen for us....so he can take our baby/s and shove them in her mean face ... having no answer must be so frustrating i hope when you go to your appointment your Dr is supportive and reasuring ...dont appologise for being down we all feel it and all support you this will happen for you

Ok ladies I am back and I have a HUGE problem. After I posted the other night Sh..tyH not DH (just joking), broke my heart by telling me that he was to ready to start our first cycle. I am really terrified, the Dr said I had very small eggs and a FSH of 10.8, I don't feel I have a long time to wait, what should I do?

Hi Ladies,

My appointment went real good. I start the BCP when i get my next period which is due December 18th. After that I start the lupron at day 18 of my 21 day cycle with the BCP then I start Follical (sp?) something meds and my EC and ET should be the end of Jan early Feb. I am so excited to finally have some sort of time line. My RE office is submitting my paper work today to the insurance for approval which the RE and their insurance department said there will not be a problem. I also have my orientation to go over the meds and process on Dec 20th. I am so happy. Thanks you all for your support. I will write more when I get home from work tonight!

Oh ya one more thing, they are doing ICSI. I guess my husband sperm was below average on abornormality? They said with the ICSI we will have a better chance of sucess!

Fed OMG OMG...how fab is that its feels wonderful doesnt it to have a plan of action im so thrilled they are going to let you go ahead ...hey i think we will be cycleing together.... i put NP meeting because i think thats what your having Nurse Protocol when they call in your meds and talk you through all your dates and possible timelines and nag about taking your baby vits and follic acid
