Yarnista, 15 embies! :D Congrats!

Anna - wow, that's a great result! I'm so happy for you. When will you know about fertilization?

Actually the weather here wasn't much warmer, about the same as with you guys. And raining like mad! I bet tomorrow morning the traffic'll be terrible with all the flooding and wet roads. But it's going to be a little bit warmer, so that's fun.

Welcome Natalie!

BJ, not that many days left... I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a BFP!

Nerms, courage! I know you wanted the follies to be further already but hopefully the next scan will bring happy news. And you have a nice number of them so that's good. The waiting sucks, I know, but I'm sure it will result in a nice number of good-sized follies! Thinking of you, hope you don't get too uncomfortable.

Thanks for all the well wishes - luckily I didn't have appendicitis but just a scare; if I had had it it would have been to the OR and bad news for the baby. So for now I'm relieved. Will have a scan in two weeks.

Hi all!!!

Anna...wow!!!! That is amazing..i'm realy excited for you...26 is amazing-i remember you getting really worried about the high FSH and now look! I hope they are fab quality and DH's sperm nicely fertilise them...afterall it is nearly spring...the time the seed is sown!!! :D :D My acupuncturist was telling me in chinese med spring time is a good time to concieve...goes with nature's natural cycle....great for us march buddies hey!! :D

Steph...hope everything went well for you...looking forward to hearing!

Yarnista...15 embies-that is fantastic! Our clinic says 5 day transfer generally generates a better pregnancy rate...if you put one back in 50%, and put two back in 70%!!! Imagine that! I think they will only allow it if you have a decent amount of embies that are all growing well...i guess as usual us ivf'ers have to wait and see..how your darlings doing?

Natalie...thanks for your words of wisdom...you really reassured me...and you're a begginer...i was useless at reassuring anyone else i had so many ques of my own! Lupron is used to downreg..switch everything off so that they can better control your ovaries..on friday presumably they will be scanning to check your lining is nice and thin and you have no cysts, then you should start FSH injections...whichi think have a couple of trade names...puregon or menupor-this is stimming when your follies will grow...hope that helps!

Vicky...all i can say is :D :D :D :D So pleased that things are on their way!!!!!!!!! It's great having dates...really feels like the whole process is happening!

Marcial....YAAAAAAAAAAAAY! AF has arrived..the jourmey begins...i in contrast to you usually get no cramps or headaches before AF, but PMT/S kicks in and it is horrible...i feel like i'm not in control of my emotions..oddly this recent AF in the middle of treatment was more about cramps than emotions! weird hey! SO i guess you'll get you dates on monday...hopefully lining will be nice and skinny for you!

And the two lucky ladies...Carbev and Rae...hello! Glad to hear both of you are doing well! Good luck with any forthcoming scans!

I'll be leaving soon for a scan...feeling a bit better today--feel a little more bloated..so that's good! :D I don't think i'll be ready for ec on friday though-but that's ok as long as they're growing hey!

Hello to everyone else!

Will check in later

vicky - woohoo for AF arriving and you getting your schedule. it feels so much better getting a plan, doesn it? oohh, how exciting!!!

mrsb - how are you doing hunny?? hows the 2ww treating you??

Bridget- Thank you! I completely agree with you but I thought I was nuts- I love to rub my belly and talk to them- "just hang in there and prove to everyone you're there- momma knows you're in there" silly... so I'm sooo glad I'm not the only one! DH and I were already pretty close- we're a couply couple- but it's cool how he's actively participating in all this- he's given me all my shots- except 2 when I wanted to try, and he's been to all my scans and drs appts except for 1. I really didn't think he had it in him to give me shots- but he's a tough one.

nerms- goodluck on your scan today! i think that was one of the best parts- seeing them every day or every other day and seeing how much they have grown!

yarnista- 15 is great! how many will you transfer? I did a day 5 transfer, now on 1ww- test friday!

nimble- yup- human pin cushion! do you have to give blood every day when you go? i was like shots in and blood out! ugh! so many pin holes on my body! so how did the stimms go? did you burn or anything?

vicky- congrats on getting your schedule! doesn't it seem more real now?

marcia- yay for AF! (I had af when they were doing a scan- very "embarrising/ gross" but I guess they are used to it.... )

anna- congrats on the 26 eggies!

shantala- been wondering about you! I said the same thing yesterday- being on here makes me think about it too much! lots of sticky baby dust to you too!

2 more days... in my head and heart I "know" I'm pregnant, but of course always second guessing/ doubting too- just want to know for real, and of course how many too.... family and everyone are jumping the gun a lot- asking us if we've talked about names or anything- we have but still- Petra Elizabeth for a girl- hebrew for rock or pillar- female version of peter (and of course supermodel name- dh's choice  ) and c...en or in (camden, corwin, corbin...) archibald (family name) for a boy, but i want to tell everyone SLOW DOWN! We don't even have the results back yet!!!
then the other pet peeve is everyone asking how i'm feeling... I don't know how I'm feeling- I don't know if it's pregnancy or meds- PIO or what. don't know what they expect to hear. I know they want to know if I feel pregnant or what- but i don't know!
2 more days....

Shantala – the 2 ww is always the hardest, it feels like its 2 years when your going through it. Hope those embies are snuggled in. Praying for that BFP :D

Nerms – hope the scan went well, I have never felt bloated in any of my cycles, don’t worry about the size of the follies I bet they have grow lots, the Dr will adjust the does and you will end up with footballs for ovaries….. Grow follies Grow. :D

Kandice – hope your doing ok honey, Praying for that BFP :D

Vicky - woooo hoooooo the witch has arrived, good luck with the scan.

Rae - how you feeling honey?? The weather is nice here today but no where near what your getting. How’s the little one doing?

Bj – how you feeling not long now, Praying for that BFP

Yarnista – good luck with ET. I have always had 3 day transfers but this time I’m going for 5 day (depending on how many eggs and quality)

Marcia – AF arrived… welcome aboard the roller coaster..

Anna – 26 eggs that’s fantastic. Hope the all fert for you. Keep us informed. :)

Mrs B / katt – how’s things with you both?? hope your feeling ok. Praying for your BFP

Nimble – 3 needles wow girl.. I’m on 2 but at least one is a pen which really doesn’t hurt.

As for fitness I have always kept on doing phys up until ET, then carried on 5 days after transfer but no Running, Swimming or sit ups.
This time however I’m planning on taking things a little easier.
So I’m going to stop running after this weekend and then stop all Phys the day before EC.
Not looking forward to just sitting about, but will try anything that will help get that BFP. :D

Rae-
Good to hear you and the baby are AOK...Just an FYI I had and appendicitis at 11w 6d and me and the baby made it through surgery just fine he is 10 1/2 now, so don't be scared.

Sorry it is just a short one for me this morning. We just got back from Snow Skiing in Santa Fe New mexico and it was wonderful...really took the mind off. I have one week to go and it seems like this is all I think about.

I will post longer later.

Anna/Steph congratulations on your little eggs and Steph, wow 10 embies thats fantastic news. Anna - hope you have great numbers too...can't wait to find out.

Jill - yeeaahh she finally showed - at long last. So good that you start stimming on Friday - we shall all be mad hatters next week!

Smattison - how have you been - hope you had a great skiing hols... glad it took your mind of things as you said it becomes yr thoughts 24/7!

Sha - thanks for your info on fitness - i will try and carry on for as long as possible prior to EC, although suspect once the follies start growing, the gym will be the last place I feel like going.

Kandice - I like your PMA and I did exactly the same as you - I named each of my embies and me and DH spoke to them everynight before going to sleep and during the day I would rub my tummy and think of them and I made my self think 'i'm pregnant' and I was !! :D

Thankfully no, I don't give blood - that would be the end of me if they did!! My stims really sting this time, don't remember that happening before.

2 more days to go and yr prayers will be answered!

Shantala honey - how are you? I'm easy on the 24/25th - have no plans as its the weekend prior to EC so not likely to be out and partying!! Hold in there girl, I know time must be dragging for you but not long to go.

Nerms - thanks for helping Natalie out - bit useless on that front
but its great that I can now update the list!
Hope the scan goes well today - fingers crossed that you're little ones have grown some.

Hey Marcia - thank god she finally showed for you and yr finally on yr way. By the way what does
CD1
mean - hence probably why I got the list wrong! sorry!

Vicky - wwooohooo another one - you must be relieved and pleased to get yr schedule. I'm sooooo excited for you too!!! :D :D

Well, boy have I had an emotional day or two - yesterday I was ***** from hell and today I just kept welling up with tears. One of my team mates thinks I'm mad with her and spoke to my boss (who thankfully knows) and made light of it - however she did say that as I was such a stronger character in my team - she sensed my colleagues were having similiar moods ie I was influencing them LOL - I said they were unconsciously coming out in sympathy but how funny - my poor boss, can you imagine, the whole team having the same mood swings as me!!!
:o

I will update and post the list later....

Hi everyone!

Quick post here....out of my 26 eggs, 18 were mature and 15 fertilized...I was so happy when I finally heard the message on my voicemail. I kept looking at my phone waiting to hear from my clinic. I don't know how I'm gonna deal with the 2ww and the call for beta results!!! Anyway, ET is this Friday too...Steph, we'll be in the 2ww together! Congrats on your embies!

Hi ladies just a quick one will catch up more tommorrow, Kandice i agree with you DH and i are pleading with them to hang on and make themselves cosy for 9 months, I don't really know how i feel last time i was so sure it had worked and then heartbroken when i didn't so im trying to be a bit more careful with my emotions. To be honest i don't feel any different some mornings i wake up and it takes 5 mins for me to remember that i have got my two little babies in me. I have only got a week to go know till test day and im looking for everysign i have had afew stabbing pains not cramps and today my day my knees were aching which is usally a sign im coming on, I am trying to have PMA but it can be very hard i had my first cry yesterday i just felt completely overwhelmed i also cried at wildlife programme tonight which made DH laugh. Sorry girls just had to get that all out!

Anna, that's wonderful news! Good luck with your Fri ET!

Stephanie, thank you so much for sharing that piece of information! Although all seems to be ok right now it helps to know there's a chance to pull through ok even if that useless little piece of intestine decides to flare up...

I want to go skiing too 8) I bet it was a welcome break from all this - now good luck with your cycle! You'll be starting stims soon, right?

anna- congrats on your 15 embies! good luck tomorrow!

chvonne- welcome to the group! make sure you lets us know how many embies!

1 day! I am going crazy! this monring for some reason I felt really sad- not crying or anything, think it's just nerves, come one with 1 phone call tomorrow the rest of our lives can change- with 2 minutes of phone call- if that... I'm 26 so haven't had many "life changing" experiences yet, only a couple that really stood out- when I moved from Maine to NC by myself for a job- I left my family - they were 2 hours driving time away- I left all my friends, my routine, my "friends" at the Y that I saw every night... so much and to come down and have nothing! and then the other life changing experience was when DH and DS moved in with me- wow, instead of working all hours of the night, I used ot have nothing to come home to, I was wanting to leave at 5 pm and come home and make dinner and everything for them. and now tomorrow, that one phone call, **when** she says it's a BFP, wow, everything will change- DS is 14 now so if we leave out legos or whatever it's fine, just little silly things like that. my "office" will have to be the nursery, very anxious and nervous and excited- wish it was friday!!!!!

hi to everyone else- I am thinking of you all of course, you girls have been a great support all through this! probably get back on later today...
