Hope everyone is enjoying all the festivities at this fun time of year.

It’s bad news for me. My cycle has been cancelled again, just like last time, on cycle day 20. At the scan on Thursday my lining was down to 7mm although my E2 level was supposedly OK. I started E2 patches in addition to the tablets but by the evening AF was here with heavy cramping. I was so full of hope again, thinking positive, confident that the acu was helping. Now I feel like we’re just not getting anywhere. One step forward, two steps back.

Luckily I could talk to the doc’s assistant this morning. She was very sympathetic but at a loss as to why his keeps happening. It seems I’m the only such case they’ve ever had. She’ll consult the doc and send us an email next week.

Thanks for listening and sorry about being such a downer. We’re having lots of DH’s family over for Christmas at our place. They don’t know about my tmt so I can’t go and hide… got to get my act together…

Thank you all for your understanding, kind words, invaluable support and just for being there. Wishing you all happy holidays and hoping that 2008 will be the year for us all!

Sonia

Jen1d, I as I read your message, short and sweet, I couldn't help but relate. My tears didn't come on Christmas Eve, they came yesterday (Christmas morning) on my way to my parents house where my siblings and their kids were all waiting for us. My DH and I were pretty sad in the car. It just couldn't be helped. I believe that it is good for us to express our feelings, but then... move on. We got a good cry out, then we entered the house. I hope that you are feeling better today. I want 2007 to close and I am ready for 2008. I may even take my Christmas tree down later today. And BTW, I agree, let's all kick IVF butt in 2008. Thinking of you.

Sonia, I wrote to you on over 40 thread. Thinking of you hun.

Hi everyone, let's keep moving ahead. Ready for the new year. Thinking of you all and very grateful to every single one of you. Best wishes. -chriss

  :x  Hi girls

Well thank god the festive time is nearly over and 2008 is nearly here---------praying it brings us all good news, better than last year

BUT

it never rains but it pours for me

Xmas eve was tearful but go through it, Xmas day was ok and not as bad as i thought.
yesterday well---got got up and am full of the cold again then back to work and more hassle with one of the workers and i had to deal with it then do another sleepover.
Just as i stepped into work J rang and was a little sheepish---yep you guessed it, girlfriend is pregnant. Had to then go into work and be all fine, then dh rang and his Dad is really sick again. He has another chest infection and bronchitus. J only found out yesterday bout the pregnancy and wanted to tell me but he also said he "felt bad telling me as he feels so sorry" for me. I just seem to get sorted out a bit then get kicked in the guts again. It feels like 2 steps forward and 6 back.
Sorry girls i know i'm being a bit of a misery.

OH WHEN WILL LIFE EVERY GET BETTER??????????

ROLL ON 2008, IT CANT GET WORSE--CAN IT :?:

I love you girls. I'm feeling for you Jen. What a crap year. All we can do is hope for the best 2008, it's got to be better.

I don't want to sound insensitive, but I couldn't help but laugh out loud when I re-read the last few messages, mine included. (As inappropriate as it is, I find myself laughging at times of stress, grief, etc. I lose it). Only us IVF-gilrs would understand. Never before did I wish away this cheerful time of year, but I am so over it as well! Yes, Carolyn, at least we didn't have to go to work! It's so crazy. We have to kick butt in 2008. I am sick of being the one whose butt is being kicked. Let's stay strong girls. As Andrea says, we have no choice, we have to. Love to you all, chriss

PS, Jen, sorry to hear about Father in law. Hope is is doing better. Be strong. We are here for you.
