Adkelp, Felicia, and Tuffy, I'm sending you many prayers this evening for a BFP tomorrow! Monday is going to be a BIG day on our board and I am cheering for each one of you too!
WeHaveHope, Keep resting and relaxing, glad to hear you have tomorrow off to keep those babies snuggling in with mama!
MooreBaby, Thank you for crashing...How have you been feeling?
AFM: Party was a hit...Gumbo stayed warm in the crockpot, (lol I almost wrote cockpot

), and neighbor, Sarah wowed everyone with her bbq ribs 3 trays of them! I was glad one neighbor called me from the store to pick up bbq beans b/c something happened to another neighbor and she never made it over with the potato salad.

I just so happened to think bbq beans goes great with ribs but I love the combination of bbq anything with doritios too. Anyway made some chicken wings to go with and someone brought over rice, another neighbor brought over pasta salad with appetizer and some friends from work brought over a vegetable platter and a bottle of wine. I never buy alcohol since friends think we don't drink much so they always supply us with plenty.
The neighbors' kids ate in the gazaebo while I pulled more patio sets from my neighbors house to have enough seating. Must remember tiki porches next time, b/c I tried to have centerpieces on the table using tealight candles in them but it wasn't enough lighting.

Around 9ish as we're all sitting around the bonfire telling stories and the kids go through an ENTIRE bag of marshmallows I begin thinking ok what's happened with my neighbor who was making the brownies for her husband's birthday, I thought people are going to start leaving soon where's the desert? She's sitting around the bonfire with everyone so I couldn't really ask, so I go back inside and as I'm walking back in I could hear the kids playing and for a moment I pretended they were mine, I imagined what it would be like to have my very own and it melted my heart even if it was just for a moment my life felt complete. In my kitchen, I tell another neighbor I'm running to the store for a cake and if anyone ask tell them I'll be right back, nothing else. My heart is racing because I love the anticipation of doing something for someone else, I love surprises but also knew the store closed in 12 minutes.
Of course while I'm at the store my one neighbor and I text each other without anyone knowing else lol. Alright I'm home and nobody suspects anything and Belles helped me light 40 candles and as we made our way out to the bonfire with the wind the candles go out one by one, so here we are at the patio table trying to relight them in the middle of singing while my hands are surrounding the ONLY candle that's still lit and we're all singing outside in the candelight.

The banjo player couldn't come, but another neighbor brought his guitar and we were at the bonfire, he sang to the kids and this guy could really bellow some tunes, maybe he had one too many idk, but the kids were mesmorized. It's midnight and sweet Annabelle falls asleep on the couch and I cover her with my favorite fleece throw. Everyone else is outside drinking and laughter continues until aroud 2ish and I'm begining to wonder if any of my neighbors could walk themselves home, thankfully they only live up the road

Several left their platters of food behind so dh and I are really enjoying nippling on their appetizers tonight.

Oh my goodness, I later found out that my neighbors dog got into the box of brownies and ate them all, so that's why we never had brownies, poor little guy hope he's ok tonight!
