amy and rin- good luck this morning - I can't sleep - plus there is a police helicopter hovering around my place and it's keeping me up-

I am so puffy- know what you girls mean about the shopping - I was sort of tempted, but I refrained- for now- from getting any maternity wear. Just wearing biggest, puffiest pants, and looking like I ate a sheep.

Wonder if they have maternity leathers for welding?

sorry i haven't posted in a little while i've been busy or not near the computer

Suga you deserve the first post seeing you have the first BFP i can't wait to read the official BFP posting Congratulations. All the forgetfulness sounds like baby brain get use to it, it doesn't get any better i'm shocking even after the baby is here i guess that explains why i need the notepad and pen to keep up with you ladies

Just to give you ladies who are in the two week wait something else to think about heres a couple of other symptoms or signs to look for most of these are from my experience and you may experience some of them or may not
upset tummy-gurgly belly achey
sore legs
veins in chest darker due to increased blood flow
abdomin cramps
intensely nausious
back pain
really tired
off your food but hungry all the time
and one that is a bit harder to check for but your uterus is higher than usual and softer also i'm sure you can work out how to check for that maybe DH can help you out if you feel the need i read it in my preggo book. Anyway i just thought i'd give you all something else to obsess over to go along with your extra toilet trips just to make sure AF hasn't come, the looking at web sites and reading of all the pregnancy books for possible signs of a postivie and not to forget the pushing, poking, jabbing and general bashing of your boobs just to make sure the are still sore

As for me i have my next appointment on tuesday to do a follie check i hope i have a better haul this time not to be greedy i just want to have options
I see everyone is struggling with bloated bellies i've only been stimming for 6 days and already i can feel my ovaries bounce i hate to imagine what i will be like after EC

Oh get this we were visiting people we know quite well who told me she was pregnant and how it was Soooooo not what they wanted and ofcourse how shocked they are seeing how infertile they have become since the birth of their now 13 year old son mind you they have also had two girls between the first and fourth pregnancy and then get this, this topped it off her husband then goes on to guesture how she needs a coathanger to fix the problem. but don't worry i let him have a serve especially seeing they know what we are in the middle of.

What a beeeeep beeeeeep beeeeep you can replace the beeps with what ever colourful words you'd like i'm sure you ladies could think of a few appropriate names. Arrrrrgh!!!

Joame: UGH that is horrible!! I do not understand people like that! I too hate it when I look around at people I know who "oops" got pregnant! My old roommate from college just informed me that she is 8 weeks pregnant (mistake) and is now getting married to the guy who she barely knows. UGH! People without fertility issues just do not understand how hard it really is to get pregnant! I am so sorry. Just dont let it bring you down.

Thanks for the things on the HCG. I know it can last in the body for awhile but it was still nice to see a little positive line since I have not ever seen one while trying to get pregnant. I think I will take another Tuesday or Wednesday to see if it is still there...if not then it was HCG. But I have 2 frozen s on backup!

Fertilization Day 2 report:

Well, they just called. We are going for the 3 day transfer Monday at 1:30 est!! They dont want to wait to 5 days just in case we loose them all. All 8 of them are still viable and going strong!!!! They are all between 2 cell and 4 cell which is normal for day 2. They should be around 8 cells tomorrow. 2 are fragmented...but still growing. So this is all great news!!! We will decide tomorrow with the doc on 2 or 3. Everything is absolutely by textbook...so I cant complain!

Hi ladys's well im back from my 72 hours on bed rest----that was the LONGEST ever. I am finally not as bloated so maybe the resting helped. I keep saying I dont feel preg. But hey its really early. I hope everyone had a great weekend especially with ER and ET. I iwll have to go back and try to catch up on whats happening. Have a good one!!!

Yeahhhh. I trigger tonight! Today's E2 is 4242 and 13 follies ranging from 21.7 - 11. With the majority being between 21 and 17. We counted one less today. But I'm sure that's because so many are so big they can't find them all. I just did my last Gonal-f and will trigger at 10:45 tonight.I'm only using 5,000 units of HCG. And when I thought I'd have a day "sans" needles, they tell me I have to go back tomorrow for b/w.
So, Mia and Bat- Are we all on for tonight?

Katie- glad you have rested up. Take care of yourself. Baby dust! baby dust!

Amy/Loopie/Rin- Let us know how it went this morning

Tammy- textbook is good. There's nothing wrong with that. Grow embies!!!

Katie: 72 hours is gonna be hard for bedrest. I dont think I am gonna get to do it either. My old doc said to..the new doc says no bedrest. They wont excuse me for that long from work. I hope to get at least 48 hours.

Ok - Now I just want to go buy a box of sticks at Costco and do it every day! This is finally driving me insane. I was doing semi-ok until now but now I am on the edge. All these crazy symptoms and you have no clue if it is because you are pregnant or pumped full of hormones and if I am not BFP then why continue the meds torture?
To add to my stress, the day we find out (Sat), we have my stepdaugther for the whole weekend, so no matter what, I have to go pretending (we asked his parents for coverage in case of a BFN but they decided to go on a trip instead! we have no one else to help). So if I get a BFN, I get the constant reminder of how easy his evil ex got preggo before his chemo lowered his count and have to pretend nothing is wrong!
Sorry - I had to vent!!!
weezie - good luck with your trigger tonight! Thats a great number and size of follies!
Amy/loopie/rin - I am dying here to know how it went, hope you girls feel good after ER!
KatieG- glad you got rest, 2WW for us!
Tammy- 8 cells is great! The number to transfer at 3 days is sure a tough decision but I am sure you guys are on your way to your BFP! Let us know tomorrow

just a quick note - things went great- got some sleep this afternoon- seems DH and I did well- they got 16 eggs!!!!!!!!! don't know anything about how mature they are, but I hope for at least half to make it through -I'll know tomorrow about how they made it

Weezie - I trigger tonight too!! Woohoo! i'm actually really nervous about it - i dont want it to hurt!! I'm going to ice it like crazy! The shot is at midnight (MST) and my ER is Tues 10am!!!
They didn't tell me my levels or # of follies today I had a different u/s lady today and i didn't like her! SHould i call back and get the #s or does it matter?

Rio - thanks for he smoothie recipe again - i bought all the ingredients today!!! And of course i bought pineapple!! You need to eat it 5 days after ET??

Amy - did you ice your butt before the HCG shot?? i dont want mine to sting!! How did your ER go??

Suga - I'll probably be doing the HPT too!! it'll be so hard not to! Congrats although i know it's early.

Are the progesterone shots hurting???? i think i decided on the shots instead of suppositories - i have to order that shot tonight.
so i have tons of meds left- i whole unopened pen of Gonal-f and 2 closed boxes of menopur. my nurses really screwed up the doses i guess!! What am i supposed to do with them? hopefully i wont need them will the pharmacy take the unopened ones back??

Hi Girls,
ER wasn't so great.. I am still really suffering from the anesthia.. feels like I have a foggy headache that won't go away. Out of my 4 big follies, only 1 egg.. one of them blew right in front of my dr. I am mentally trying to wrap my head around it.. I know it only takes one, but very disheartening and feeling like I am on a bad drug trip right now doens't help.
I did ice for all my shots and it helped for sure.

Bat- I would call back tomorrow and ask what your #'s are. If you want to know. I'm not worried about tonights shot. I just want it over. I've had a really rough day today. Cried at Whole foods while Dh and I were stocking up on fresh fruit. I feel horrible And I'm really worried that with such a high E2 I might be a candidate for OHSS. Maybe that's why only 5000 unit of hcg tonight. It only worries me because I will be alone after ER. DH will leave Tuesday night to go back home. I too have some meds left over. 3 amps of menopur and 1/2 gonal pen. I plan on giving it to my nurse. She had told me that when some of her patients have left overs, she asks that we pay it forward. I don't have a problem with that. What eles and I going to do with it? But you have a lot left over. Sounds like she didn't figure it up right.

Rio- I was talking to DH about you earlier. On my trigger instructions it did mention that DH and I couldn't wear any lotions or colognes.

Loopie- 16 is fantastic! Way to go!

Mia- What's going on? Are you with us tonight? The more the merrier!
