Ladies, sorry I've been MIA for awhile. Was starting to freak out about my high beta #. Was on the internet WAY TO MUCH & was getting all wound up. Needed to get off & calm down. I feel much better now. My 2nd beta was today & it was 17,000. Great numbers I'm thrilled. Ultrasound is on the 17th of July that's when I'll know for sure if I am carrying multiples. All my research & all the data says yes. Just a little nervous but calm now. I missed all of you & it was so hard to stay off the threads.purchased several books & been doing some reading on pregnancy. Had a nice 4th holiday. Back to school today. Hope all is well.

Hi Ladies sorry I'm not doing any personals but I've been trying to post for a while and Internet keeps crashing!!!!

I wanted to keep you girls posted had ER today!!!. Well, what can I say, things never work out the way you think they will. I had 7 really good looking follies ready for retrieval they were perfect but apparently they only had 4 eggs. BUMMER!!!! Still 4 I know, but I was hopping I was finally gonna have some frosties. Well, ER went well, I actually enjoy the anesthesia (weird I know!!!) and the nice nap I can take all afternoon. Tomorrow I'll get the call to see how many embies we got and a tentative transfer day. I'll keep you posted!!!!

Who is starting the 2ww?? I forgot!!!

Sabi - The internet is a B*tch!! It's so consuming when your looking for research. I drove myself nuts last Thurs when my cycle got cancelled. You do have to kind of 'just walk away from the computer'.

AFM - (I finally figured out who that was. LMAO!!!) I spoke to my RE today and we're going to try a micro dose next time. This is the same thing I've read would be next for poor responders. So now I'll be on a lower dosage of lupron. So now I wait for AF and go in for my baseline.

WOW!!! That is awesome!! Were you a 'poor responder' also your first time around? I am cautiously optimistic. I've been doing ALOT of reading online and according to my research this is what they try next.

Johannanita This was my 3rd cycle and the other 2 I would only get 8-9 follies max. I have always been on the highest dose of stims (600iu) and stim up to 14-15 days.

Johannanita I am a poor responder too and I used micro-dose ovidrel this time. The first time I started with a low dose of gonal f and on the first u.s they saw I was a poor responder and I started the micro-dose lupron right away and they put me on the highest dose of Gonal F as well (just like Rosario 600iu, we go to the same clinic) . I was lucky to get one good embryo and got my BFP!!!

Rosario good luck on your ultrasound!!! Keep us posted!!!

Has anyone experienced swollen painful boobs whilst on stims? These last few days I've felt as though I'm having symptoms of due AF! I had FET last year so can't remember if this is how I felt with the previous fresh cycle. Any thoughts?!

I have just had ER and we got 12 eggs. A lot less than last time but hopefully more mature. She offered us a choice between ICSI and IVF this time but we chose ICSI for a few reasons. Well, wait now til Friday to see what the verdict is. I feel fine now though.

Vicky - yes I had sore boobs throughout stims too. Don't remember this last time.

Sabi great numbers!!! Congratulations!!! It definitely sounds like multiple pregnancy but you never know until the U/S. With my DS I had numbers that average triplets and we ended up having a singleton!!! Good luck and I'm so happy for you!!!

AFM I just got a call from RE and they said that 3 of the 4 eggs fertilized!! They didn't tell me how they looked, but they said that I'll have a 3dt which is totally new for me. I never make it that far, I always have 2dt!!! I'm going to keep my fingers crossed...

mikeandjess - I am so sorry. Sending big huge ((((HUUGGSS))). I know it is painful. Hope you have a plan that will help you get through this. Can you cycle again? Do you have any frosties?


AFM - My cycle isn't looking so good. As of yesterday I have 4 follies, 26mm which will be way to mature, 19mm, 16mm and 13mm. RE is hoping the 13 mm pops up and I might have ER on Friday. I go in later on today for another u/s. Some part of me wants to cancel but another part of me just wants this part of my life done with. I am so tired of this roller coaster. My insurance pays so if I cancel I will still have 2 covered cycles, if I go ahead I risk the chance of not having any eggs. I am know for "empty follicles" so even though I have 3 there is no guarantee that I will even have 1 good egg. I believe I am saving my rth cycle for donor egg. I just don't think I can keep on doing this. Oh wll , I am OK with whatever happens. Will keep ya all posted.

Well ladies, I've been for my u/s today and I'm going in on Friday for ER!! I had 28 follies, 1 was 26mm and the rest were all 18-20mm and under! So big changes from Monday's scan! I was a while in the waiting area waiting to see the nurse. She had to speak to the doctor and they've agreed to go for ER on Friday but I have to have another u/s first and see how the follies are. I think they are worried about hyper stilumation - I'll have ER on Friday and then they'll monitor over the weekend and see how I am on Monday and go from there. Hopefully I'll be fine and I'll have ET on Wednesday!

I've never had this before. I've always had good numbers with follies and enough to freeze but this time they're a lot more and a lot bigger. I'm a little worried, but I'm just thinking what will be will be. IF I do hyper stimulate than they'll freeze the follies and then I'll have FET.

I have my last Buserelin injection tonight. I have Pregnyl injection tonight and start Utrogestan at bedtime.

The nurse said I was the 2nd person she'd told this info to today! She said hopefully things will work out and I'll go for ET on Wednesday!

I'm feeling very FULL! haha I'm just gonna take it easy now and take each day as it comes.

So a BIG thanks for all those follie dances - but you can stop now! lol

Katie99 - so pleased you're back on track and won't be having to waste any of your meds. Roll on the 30th! And Portugal was fantastic, thank you, although quite tiring as for a week we had a group of 15 friends in a villa to celebrate DH's and some other people's 40th birthdays this year. I'm getting too old for lots of late nights and drinking in a row, I need my sleep these days! Plus that didn't combine very well with just starting the down-regulation drugs so I felt pretty tired. But it was still a lot of fun!

praying - sorry to hear that you're having to wait some more, keeping my fingers crossed that Monday's u/s brings good news.

mikeandjess - it's not over until the fat lady sings, as they say, so try and keep the faith until beta. I know it's hard. I've read plenty of stories on these boards about late implanters and those whose POAS journey took them all the way to 13/14dpo before they saw that second line.

to_have_fun - hope today's scan reveals more positive news, keeping my fingers crossed for you.

sabi - 17th July will be here before you know it, just try and stay calm!

Daisy - wow, that sounds like a high beta. August 6th seems like a long wait for your scan, but I'm sure it will be here before you know it, or have you found someone else who can do it sooner?
