Lauren319...Love the picture!! Sooo cute! Sometimes slow and steady wins the race...hard to say...since we are all different and require different things. This may be your magic protocol or blasting you with meds may be...he had to pick the protocol that he thought would work the best with you and go with it. I am betting that it will turn out to be exactly what you need for your BFP. Was your numbers you quoted yesterday from 7 days of stims? Sounds like you are right where I was at 7 days of stimming...so you may stim 12 days like me. So you will likely trigger Saturday....or even Friday or Sunday. Probably not what you want to hear...but you do have a little ways to go yet. But, of course, I am not a doc...and am just guessing here.

Sher...Congratulations Mama!!! Sooo exciting! Bill was the same way...he refused to get excited when we first saw the hpt turn positive with Zachary. However, by that evening...he was on the phone telling everyone! lol

Lou...I got your message...Thanks! Good Luck today! I just know that this is going to be your best ER yet. I am sending you all my hopes, prayers, baby dust and best wises! Fingers Crossed!

Tammy - Well the 6 follicles I had on Sunday are now 17 two days later!!! I agree with you that I do not know what I will do with any frozen ones if this ever works and if there are any left. I will cross that bridge when I come to it. I don't know what my DH would want to do. It's funny how after doing IVF for a year feelings about the frozen embryos change. When we signed the original consent one of the questions was what to do with unclaimed frozen embryos if we do not use them or pay to store them after such and such a time passes. We both chose donate to research. Now after going through this and learning so much, I honestly don't know what I would choose to do with them. So like I said I will deal with that If the time ever comes that we have a healthy baby and decide that we don't want to use them ourselves. And for all I know none of these will be freeze quality anyway lol!

Klinger – Thanks for your support!

Amanda1979 – I agree with Lauren, it’s all about how it doubles. You’ll have a lot more information by tomorrow  Don’t drive yourself silly googling!

Fitzjr- YEAH! That’s awesome! 20 eggs!

Cakes – 11 eggs is great! Can’t wait to hear your fert report!

Lauren1171- Looking forward to hearing about the next SnS. That’s interesting that your insurance makes you do a FET if you have frozen ones. I’ve heard a lot of women on here say that FET was easier for them…what was your bad experience? Just curious. Oh my gosh…17 eggs! Way to go girl! I know what you mean, the whole process changes your mind about so many different things. I regret my first IVF, that was cancelled. I wish that I would have gone through it and been an egg donor for someone vs just stopping the ER. But, at that time, I was so emotional with everything that I didn’t have a clear head. I never even considered that would be an option because I thought we would be able to go through IVF. But, we do the best we can with the information we can.

Lou – I swear our mind plays tricks with us. I’m sure everything is going as planned, I mean they can’t just fall out of you! That’s right, Lou, there’s not going to be a “no” this cycle..nope not for you! You are a pro and this ER is going to go perfectly. I can’t wait to hear how it goes, get lots and lots of rest. Maybe a great movie or two on the couch? Thank you for picking me back up, Lou, I need it right now! We will be in the 2WW together, so hopefully we can keep each other out of crazy town, although, I think I’m already there…yikes… Lots of love for your ER tomorrow! I have all my fingers and toes crossed!

Chili – sounds like you are seeing a good acupuncturist. Isn’t it kinda scary when they know things that you haven’t told them? Mine said the same thing…you should reduce carbs and cheese from your diet…I’m thinking..great that’s all I eat, so major diet changing for me! Have you decided next steps?

Franny – I’m so glad that you are trying a totally new protocol…I can imagine a little scary, but also super exciting! What if this is exactly what you needed! I’m so glad I’m here to be part of it and cheer you on! YEAH!

Annashope – I am so sorry my dear. I am hoping and praying for your September cycle!

Karin – wow friend, you are super super busy! Don’t you just love when the house is super clean? We had our cousins in town last week, so for the whole week prior I was a cleaning freak! By the time they got to our house…I was thinking…wow this looks great! Wish I had the will to clean more often! That’s super exciting that they accepted your offer. I am sending you good real estate vibes to get your house sold! When will you have your first open house? I’m not super familiar with CA, so where is Atherton? So the girl that is in a cycle right now, do you think she would want to do another one next month? Or is that not an option? Karin, you are such an inspiration. Thank you for having just the best attitude in the world, it’s really contagious and I cannot tell you how much I appreciate the support!

Tammy- Hi! So good to hear from you too! It looks like this cycle is working perfectly for you. I think those follies will grow at least another 2-4mm by the time ER is, so you should have 6-7 great looking eggs! Sounds just perfect! I’m so glad that your cardiologist appointment went well, doesn’t it just feel better to have peace of mind? I think so. Your lining is fabulous! Just right for your embies to snuggle in. I can’t wait to about your appointment tomorrow!!! Keep me posted my friend.

Sher – YEAH!!! You are pregnant…a line is a line no matter how faint! How very exciting! You better go to the store and buy more tests, because if I were you, I’d be a little obsessed! When is your beta?

AFM: Leaving here in about 10 minutes for the first IUI. It’s like a walk in the park now. What will be will be. My favorite store was having a sale last night...30% off the clearance stuff, so I treated myself to 3 cute dresses, 1 pair of shorts, and a t-shirt...amazing deals that I couldn't pass up...right? I am wearing one of them today. It's the little things that make us happy and I thought I deserved it. Well, that's my story anyway! Love you all!

Cakes - you are lucky girl with 11 eggs - congrats!! Looks like we will be in 2 ww together!

Lou - hope everything went smoothly for you this morning. Rest up!

Tammy - sounds like you are almost there!! Just a few more days of shots!

Lauren1171 - 17 follicles is GREAT! Hopefully they will all mature at about the same pace so you get lots of eggs too!

Tiger04 - I did some shopping last weekend too - it's some great stress relief :)

AFM - My ER yesterday went ok - very little pain afterwards actually. They only retrieved 3 eggs though - which is relatively disappointing. I knew based on the number of follicles that were mature that it would not be a large # but I was hoping for 5. I just heard from the clinic with the report - 2 of them fertilized so we have ET scheduled for Thursday morning!! We did not have embies to transfer last cycle - so I'm very excited to have ET this time around! Just called and scheduled my acupuncture for pre/post ET too!!
Back to work now :)

tiger- i was so happy to hear that you are continuing w/ your journey despite your last cycle. happy swimming! wishing you so much luck today & tomorrow...you back for another iui tomorrow, right? retail therapy is fun, isn't it! soon, you'll be clothes shopping for your baby! pma, pma, pma!

kbillsy- quality over quantity, girl! you got 2 embies growing & waiting to get into their mommy. you'll be pupo soon!

claudia- thanks so much! you're an awesome cheerleader!

lauren1171- wow, 17! you should be triggering really soon!

kim- hey! good to hear from you! how are you doing? stupid af is still not here!

sher- congrats mama! can't wait to hear your bfp results on your beta tomorrow!

lauren319- you still have several days to go. the 2 cycles that i've been on so far, i stimmed for about 12 days before triggering. having more is not always the answer...it's having good ones that you want, which i'm sure you will. you said your doc prescribed valium for the er...did you mean et? most docs put you out for the er & for the et you're awake, but they can give you valium just to relax you. cute couple, by the way!

tammy- i knew your cardiologist would clear you...but i'm glad you got checked out! your results are looking good..pma, pma, pma! thanks for af dancing...she's still hiding, evil woman!

margi- good luck today!

karin- wow, you've got a LOT going on! isn't it always nice when your house is clean?! too bad, it doesn't happen as often as i wish it did, lol! i hope everything works out w/ selling your house & a smooth transition into your new one! sorry, about dh's comment...men sometimes do not think before they open their mouths, do they? have fun bd'ing ;-) thanks for doing the af dance...still waiting for her.

annashope- oh sweetie, i'm so sorry! i was in a similar situation on my 1st cycle. i can still remember the feelings as if it happened yesterday. i'm so glad that dh & you are moving on & jumping back in. take this month off, let your body & mind heal, & start again in septmeber...great plan! we'll be here, rooting you on! yes, at least you know you can get pregnant!

franny- wow....you're moving right along! i have a really awesome feeling about this new re & protocol! it sounds like he doesn't want to waste any time, which is very positive! let us know what you find out about this protocol. as far as the short personals...honey, take all the time that you need. believe me, i totally understand :-)

lou- it's way past your er...but i'm still thinking of you! hope you're feeling ok... can't wait to hear how many they got. rest up!

cakes- hope you're feeling much better today! 11 is a terrific #! can't wait to hear today's fert report. when do you think your et will be?

fitzjr11- woohoo for triggering! you have such great pma & i'm sure that 1 will be your miracle!

amanda1979- congrats! you're pregnant...that is what you should concentrate on right now....get that pma up! i'm crossing everything that you'll have a wonderful jump in your beta tomorrow!

amaut- glad you made your decision! looking forward to rooting you on!

ronda- you're an amazing woman! thank you so much for cheering us on...it really means a lot! i'm very sorry that it is the end of the road for you, but i'm so happy that you got 2 precious miracles out of it :-)

klinger13 (amanda)- hey you! thanks for the af dance! so, what's going on w/ you? i know you'll be doing an iui. are you still waiting for stupid af like me?

ryann- how are you doing sweetie? haven't heard from you in a while. are you in florida? i know you said you & dh were going down there at some point. hope everything's going good. thinking of you!

teresa- where are you girlie? hope you're doing good.

emma- your beta is tomorrow...good luck!

afm...NOTHING!!! can you tell i'm annoyed & frustrated, lol?  af needs to stop playing hide-&-seek & show her ugly face! figures...i'm almost always every 28 days...not this time! i'm really fine w/ it though (for the most part)...how everything goes is just how it's meant to.

Hey Everyone,

Spoke to my RE this morning and 10 of the 11 fertilized. They are thinking the ET will be Thursday or Saturday depending on how the embabies do. So it is a waiting game for now. I am trying not to get my hopes up because so many things can happen. I want to sceam, shout, and dance but Im afraid. Im putting it all in God's hands!

I told DH, who has no clue and is trying to keep up with all of this, said to me, "So they are gonna put all them in you?" You can only imagine the words that came out of my mouth!! So funny! Love that man! I did try to explain it to him once again how it works. He just nods and says okay.

kbillsy- Yes we will be doing our 2ww together.

Hi girls,

I'm home from ER resting. I had quite a bit of unexpected pain after the procedure due to a moving ovary so they had to press a lot on my abdomen. I took a vicodin and am going to lay down. The good news is we got 10 eggs! That's the most I've ever had. So we're happy. I think around 8 or 9 will be mature judging by the sizes on my last SnS. We are doing ICSI. DH's sample was pretty crappy today. Only 13 million with 36% motility. Normal is 20 million with at least 50% motility. Going for a good fert report tomorrow.

Thank you all for cheering me on. I'll do personals later after a good nap.

Lou: Glad to hear all went well..10 eggs is awesome! Sorry about that pain..I know how that can be--take it easy...take a nap....take your vicodin and rest.

AFM: Still haven't gotten the results from yesterday's bloodwork. It was supposed to be sent "STAT" but despite being told that means results the same day, I have learned to wait until the next day for my beta results. But it is 2:30 and they close at 4 and I am going out of my skin!! I think I am going to break down and call...
