Hi Ladies,

just quick post. I'll catch up later. Have been busy this week

Aunty n Charity, Thanks for Gatorade. I understand now gatorade for OHSS. I thought i must drink everyday during stim so i won't get OHSS. Silly tought

Anyway Debz, I ve been thinking a lot since you said limited water on Stim to avoid OHSS. But i don't think 1 L enough for me. Singapore is very hot country. N i have to walk far away from apt to bus station to go to clinic everyday for injection at 12pm. I think need more than 1 cause i sweat alot. Do you think so?

Hope everybody else okay. God bless

Hope you have nice 2ww Caroline... :D

Ok - I have officially lost the plot !- I am comparing boob symptons (or none in my case) with the girls on Nov thread - what is this process doing to us all. It is funny when you think about it isn't it?

Any ideas how I can focus on other things for a while. Luckily my work is not stressful and I am pretty much my own boss but I am turning into such a slacker. Have plenty to do but just keep putting it off, putting it off.

How do I motivate myself to get stuck into a project and not keep looking at this board every half an hour!

Any ideas much appreciated! A

Angie, sorry no idea form me. Im also crazy aout this board. Anyway, about progesterone you helped a lot. I needed to know ur DR instruction. My Dr didnt do instruction, he always looked in hurry  so nurse told everything. I got this bad feeling about this nurse. Sorry i have to stop. I can't gossiping her cause after that the feeling become stronger :D How's 2 ww? Do you feel starving? What do you snack? Indonesia now is Mango Season. Very very sweet. Can you eat it? I hope i don't make you to think about it a lot. We believe here, a lady wants mango so bad, she is pregnant :D

Debz, you right about talking only to DR. That's the best. All the instruction mostly given by nurse. My DR so busy. He is also an Obgyn. Very rare to me, because in Jakarta, IVF DRs only do IVF thing. They are not obgyn. IVF DR only take care the mom until she is ready to be sent to obgyn. How about there?

For the ladies who have blog. It is nice to see your lovely n beautiful face. I hope you don't mind i went to your blog :D

Hi Jemma - I don't really like mango but I am eating lots of fruit, pineapple, strawberry ,cherries etc trouble is also eating lots of bad sweet stuff too - 4 cookies today plus choc covered fruit and nuts  - but nothing changes there as I always have a sweet tooth and I am a chocoholic ! I really hope I get BFP and then get a food aversion to chocolate .....

My IVF dr is both - when I get BFP he can be the ob as well - if I want him to - I am still undecided re that though - sometimes love him/sometime hate him! He always packs us off to see the nurses and they give us all the info - I don't mind though - the system works well and they are nice. It's really like a factory isn't it and they have to get the production line running efficiently...!

I am going crazy - DH is out playing sport and I am ranting on - must take Lara's advice and get some funny dvd's!

Angie,

Your snacks looks yummy n healthy... Love it too... I also have a sweet tooth. Im relieved you don't like mango  Im going to feel guilty all day if I make you want them so bad. Otherwise, I must fly 4 hours to bring some of them to you. If i have too I don't mind. Mommy to be, deserved full service :D Hope you find the DVD.

Hi

Literally just got back. dh demanding that I go straight to bed. Had to come here first but will have to be quick so no personals until tomorrow.

Thanks so much for all the support and well wishes. You are fab.

So acu before hand really chilled me out. Good job as we had to wait almost an hour before saw dr for progress report. 4 from 6 made it. Which based on last time was about the best that we had hoped for. 1 average, 3 good. The good ones were all Grade 2 4 cells. So we asked if we could have them all back. Our consultant had said no to 3 when we had asked him. So they made me sign lots of paperwork but they allowed us to do it!! If you don't ask you don't get! Right.

Then we were in the same bed as last time. How spookey is that! When we went into the threatre embryologist said good news. 1 had already divided to 6 cell and other 2 were already 5 cells with one uneven looking like they might be 6 cells v soon. Last time the 2 we had back were both 4 cells. So very happy.

DH took me back for 2nd session of acu. They saw me straight away. May purpose of that session is to calm you down. Pins in ears - how mad is that.

So back at home. Feeling happy that it is done. Happy that they allowed us 3 chances. Happy that they divided more than last time.

Thanks for all your support especially when I wobbled. Sure that I wobble again but hopefully in the second week of 2ww. Test 12th December. Susan & Angie - I am right behind you.

Will post for you all tomorrow but said prayers for you all when I was having my acupuncture.
Lots of Love
Carolyn xxxx

Don't know where to even begin so I will try my best....

Caroline 3 word for you ...
STICK BABY STICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So praying for a BFP for you sweets. how are you recovering? hope good. keep those feet in the air!!!! hehehe!

Erin- your dance worked its magic.. thanks my fellow north Shore Girl.
so glad you have your plan of attack.. it will come fast! Awesome about ICSI it will definitely help your chances! are they doing assisted hatching too???

Sassy your dance helped too.. shake it!!!!!!!! your are stimming too right! we'll be 2ww together i think :)

Shantala, I can always count on you sweetie! I have crazy dreams alot too... I just try to keep my eye on the big picture!

Charity- I want to be a Puppy too!!!!!!!!!!! LOVE IT!
hope you are having a good week!

SS- I was sick from the estrogen too,, bad headaches and super sensitive... I hope you feel better!

Rachel- yup things are trucking along. had BW & US this am waiting to hear if I have the green light to start my role as a pin cushion tonight...
so is it a bad sign when you go in to the clinic and all the nurses remember you by name because you have been there so much this past year?????????????????

Mom- hope your PMA is back, I am feeling hopeful today! I figure whatever is thrown at me I can handle it. GAME ON!!!!!!!!!!!!

SONYA- i need the DH cream!!!! some things he is great at but house work....... not so much!

Mom in waiting- I am confused by your post, too. If DH wants to pause for a little bit, why? just because you are starting doesn't always mean it will happen right away, and if your age is a concern for you I would talk to him more about it. I am so grateful I started IVF when I did, (a year ago) In ever thought it would take this long and if I waited it would have pushed me back further, But it has to be something you both agree upon too.. you are a team!

BWHD_ sorry Insurance gave you trouble. hang in there and you better stay :)

Angie- yup DH is totally fine either way but for me NO WAY. I needed to be able to shoot myself. what if he got stuck at work or something, I needed to know that I could do it, and actually proud of myself because I hafd no problem !!!! guess having a diabetic dog helped with the needle phobia !!!!! It is hard getting your mind off of IVF and I wish i had a magic wand to help, for me it has been yoga, and making sure I keep in mind that I am in control of my body still... I might have to do what and when the doc telsls me BUT at any time I can decide to stop or to pause... just knowing that has helped me stay focused. it has been a rollercoaster and some days are better than others. but end of the day I have all you girls here to help!!!!!

Haylie looks like we will be close too huh!
How are you feeling. ready to jump on the pin cushion train!!!!!!
GAME ON!!!!!!!!!!!

Auntie- my gal. hope the computer feels better. DAMN MACHINES! thanks for alyaws being here for all of us. you are the best.. the thread is JAMMING!!!!! i should be starting stims tonight with my first BW & US on tuesday the 5th! HOLY CRAP it is getting close. trying to keep everything in perspective. scared to death to get mu hopes up but I know i will . I have to. or else why would I keep putting myself thru this. one of these times its gotta work! so are you all recovered from tday!!!! when will your next cycle start. wishing you a good day!

ok I think I sort of caught up. I know I missed some, sorry!!!!!
i love you all!!!!

Carolyn, that is the best news!!!!! I am so happy that they let you do 3. You are right in that if you never ask you will never get. So on that note, let DH pamper you beyond your wildest dreams, sit (or lay) back and let those 3 settle in. Hopefully Santa and the stork will work together and you will have the greatest gift of all.

I will try to post personals later but DH is playing hookie today, because I complained that we never spend time together. We have his sperm aspiration tomorrow afternoon so I'm sure I have to pamper him this wekend!

TTYL and lots of sticky baby dust!

Angie, Nothing can keep you away from the boards. You just get sucked in. Plus, we are the greatest support system for each other, cause we all understand what we're going through. It's hard not to obessess on everything you read on the boards. After all, our whole life is revolved around achieving this goal (baby) Just try not to worry about everything you read, and stick with us. We'll support you all the way.

Carolyn, Congrats on ET. Sticky baby dust to you. We're all doing the sticky dance. Enjoy your relax time, and let DH wait on you. I enjoyed it. I got my meals in bed with a tray. I took advantage of it, and would yell, "Waiter, where's my tray" Hee hee, Needless to say DH didn't think this was too funny!

Bec, I'm totally staying with you guys. I wouldn't desert my Dec/Jan buds for anything. I see you guys all through.

Oh and ladies.... I too am working on my blog. Don't have a clue how to do it, but figuring it out. I looked up some of you, and was so excited to put faces to forum postings. :-) Soon mine will be there too. LOVED ALL THE PICS!

Take care, off to work I go.
