Thank you guys for being so nice and supportive!!!
My doc doesn't give valume in advance, so I will have to suck it up and hope that i will be ok. Today is ridiculous, because I have to be on the liquid diet all day before my ER tomorrow and take laxitives to clear the bowel ( sorry too much info) , it is very hard for me because I am hypoglacimic (spelling?) so i almost fainted today i needed food!!!
oh and Jodi I feel very noseated after my HCG shot all day today and I still do, but everyone is different, so hopefully you won't fell the same way :)

Well as expected it is a BFN for us.

Thank you all for your support it means a lot to us.

Will be having a long break now as it is just so hard to carry on. we send a lot of money on this and for me to get great embryos but my body rejects them everytime even with all the extra drugs i really have got to be realistic. I have 5 frosties that i will probably use at the end of the year.

Jackie - Wishing you much success with your 3 Blasts. Much sticky dust coming your way! Isn't it wonderful to have a DH that wants to take care of you? Unfortunately I've had the nurses tell me in the past about DH's that don't want to be a part of this like ours do.

I'm a little down today as I'm dealing with mild nausea which I have never had before. I wasn't sick a day when preg with my daughter. I had my ET done 5 days ago in the morning. It's prob too early so I'm guessing this nasty Progesterone Oil is the culprit. It didn't bother me in any of my prior cycles. Ah what we women go through :)

Hope everyone else is doing well.

Love,
Christine

HELP did I do the Tigger shot right?

Post by sugarmama »

OMG what an ordeal! We were told to tigger last night at 12:15 we got it ready, then noticed air bubbles, messed around trying to remove air bubbles, called the nurse woke her up in the middle of the night only for her to tell us ,"it's no big deal to have air bubbles."Did the shot pulled back to check for blood,no blood did shot. There was a little blood in the needle afterwards. I'm pretty sure we went in the muscle.Had to go to the doctor to have blood test to make sure we did the shot right. Now I'm FRAKING out thinking we did not do it right.Oh Lordy the stress.Any advice or thoughts????
Thanks !

Sugarmama - I am sure you did your shot right. When I did mine (it was subcutaneous not intramuscular) I was worried too but it all turned out well. Good luck with your retrieval. Keep us posted!

Jackie - Hooray on your little embies. I am wishing you loads of baby dust and praying that your 2ww will be calm.

Christine - I am sorry you are so nauseous. I got that way with the PIO shots too. Isn't it cruel how all the meds mimic real pregnancy symptoms! I am praying that your sick tummy means that you have a little one on the way....

Susan - I am so sorry. I have been there myself and know what you are feeling. ((((hug))))) Take care and try to enjoy your respite from this IVF rollercoaster.

I had my first follie check this morning. Looks like the cyst that was there on the baseline u/s is gone and she counted 13-14 follies! Last time on day 5 I only had 8 so this cycle is a definite improvement. I just hope they all keep growing and don't disappear on me. In any case, all looks very, very good for now. I am stoked to have this good a response at my age.

Hi Christine: I'm so sorry you're feeling down, and nauseous. I too am very sick to my stomach. But.... I know mine is the prometrium (progesterone), as I got it last time too. :-( Being that you didn't, maybe you have preggo sickness. WOOOHOOO! that would be awesome!

The 2ww is going ok, slow, but ok. Yesterday I started getting bad pains in my right ovary. I went in for E2 test today, and told them about it. They want me to do an ultrasound tomorrow am to check it out. That freaks me out. I don't want them sticking anything up there while my embryos are in there. Has anyone heard of this. EEEEK!

Sugarmama: I'm sure you did your shot right hon. :-) Don't worry.

Geckogirl: 13-14 is amazing. You must be really sore! Good luck with ER.

SUSAN: I'm so so sorry. I know how hard it is for you getting this news over and over and over again. I also know that not much I can say will make you feel better. It's soooo hard. That is one of the main reasons I stopped trying 16 years ago. IVF is a terrible thing to have to endure. I hope that your frosties bring you the baby you're hoping for. Take care Dear. Enjoy the much needed break.

Vlada: I too had to do the liquid diet thing the day before, and had to drink 2 gallons of this liquid laxative crap. It was the most disgusting thing I ever had to do. I gagged after every sip.... Even threw some up. I never got through the entire 2 gallons, (more like only 2 cups) I cried the whole time I drank it. It was awful. I feel your pain. You'll spend all day on the toilet. UGH!!! I'll be thinking of you.

Jodi: I didn't feel anything with my trigger shot. ???? don't know why.

bigwhitehapydog - I am sorry you are feeling poorly. I hope everything goes well with your Ultrasound tomorrow. I'm sure it's pretty common and remember - your embies were put in your uterus and the ultrasound should not intefere with them. They prob want to figure out the source of the pain especially if one of your ovaries might be the problem. I am taking Estrogen Pills twice a day and Progesterone Intramusclar shots once a day. I felt kinda left on my own for this 2ww as far as the Dr's go. The last time I did this they checked my Progesterone level at least once. But the Dr said they don't need to check it anymore since the women go thru enough with the shots that it really isn't necessary as long as you are taking the meds correctly. So I'm thinking the sicky feeling stomach is just the meds until that double pink line shows on the HPT which I'll prob take on the weekend. Hang in there!

Love,
Christine

Christine, I too am taking the estrogen 2x a day, and the prometrium suppositories, and the progesterone shots. They make me sick to my stomach. The estrogen gives me really bad night sweats. It's weird. I want to test this weekend as well, but they gave me an HCG shot the day of transfer, so I probably can't. It will still be in my system. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for those double pink lines. :-) BFP's for both of us coming right up!!! :-)
