Hi Ladies, I have to try and be quick as I am super busy today.

Hazel- yes, I am going crazy trying to prepare for the wedding. We leave tomorrow and nothing is packed. I feel so unprepared to make this trip tomorrow. But yes, my pedi is done and I got a mani too, same color. Of course I forgot to bring the dress with me on monday and I had to guess on the color, but I picked the perfect color. And, I already chipped my mani, but I knew that would happen, so me and my sis-in-law (who is also in the wedding party) split the cost of the bottle for touch ups, so we are all set!

vicky- yay for friday ER! Enjoy your stim free day tomorrow.

chris- I am sorry to here the follie count is low. I know how many times you have been cancelled, and I know it sucks. No matter what you decide, we will be here for you if you need to vent. I hope the scan this afternoon brings some good news and you can continue.

mikeandjess- I know it is hard, but try and stay positive. You are now 13dpo, and that is when I got my first super super faint line with Ella. Actually, the morning of 13dpo for me, hpt was negative, and then I took another one later that day after not drinking for a few hours, and I saw that super super faint line, so light I though my eyes were playing tricks on me. And no wonder it was light, 2 days later my beta was only 44...so I was just telling you all this because it is still possible no matter how slim it seems at this point.

kayce- awesome that you have 3 embies!

angie- congrats on 12 eggs. Any fert report yet?

abogenpohl- I saw someone congratulated you on twins?? I must have missed that as I have been so busy and having trouble keeping up with everyone. Congrats, that is awesome!

AFM- I went to RE this morning, scan looked good, estrogen was low, and I start bcp's again tonight. I will be on them for about 2.5-3 weeks, but they should call me with a new protocol and dates soon.

Today has been nuts! First I left for tutoring this morning and when I got to the gas station, realized I forgot my wallet so had to go back...now I was going to be late, then when driving away from my house, heard a pop on my right front tire and some metal rubbing right after...ugh, now I will be even later and I am supposed to drive that car 8 hours to my brother's wedding tomorrow. I called the mechanic, took the car down, came back and got dh's car and made it to tutoring. Turns out nothing wrong with the car, maybe something got stuck...but man, that's what kind of day it has been so far. I have absolutely nothing packed, house is a mess, and here I am tippity typing away! Seriously, I have to go now.

I am planning on taking my laptop, hotel has internet access, so I will probably be able to read on thursday night and friday, but I know saturday will be crazy with the wedding. So I will definitely catch up on monday or tuesday when I get back! Enjoy your weekend everyone!

i am going in for ER on Friday. Dr said he thinks I will have 3 eggs so I am trusting him. I know it only takes one so that is what I am keeping in my little brain right now. I am waiting for a call to find out when I can trigger. i am doing a double HCG shot this time so hopefully i won't be too uncomfortable tomorrow. Seems that I always just blow up after the trigger. At my consult RE said we would do a 5DT so that will be something new. I guess that won't be forsure until we see what we got and see how they fertilize. Wish me luck, I defiantly need it.

When does the 'cycle' begin? When you start BCP or your injectables? Are all the drugs considered injectables or only the stim drugs? When I hopefully start my protocal next month I'll be on a micro dose of lupron and then 75 menopour, 150 follistim in AM and PM. The micro dose is new protocal but the follistim and menopour are the same as before. They keep telling me that's the highest dosage. I hope I get better results next time around.

I hope everyone is doing well. I'm still going to be keeping up with folks for a while, but I think I need to join next month's thread.

My first OB went very well. No u/s but it is scheduled for Friday at 1:15. They did some blood test, pap, took my history. I was there for over 2 hrs. I loved the place. The only problem is not only do I have to worry about my babies and my health but now I have to worry about all these appt I have to go to. I was going to speak to the person in charge of human resources but didn't get the chance to.

They want me to go to a prenatal nurtritionist since I am carrying Triplets and also consult with a specialist regarding some background on selective reduction (which I intend to not even listen to). There is some concern regarding my twins since they are most likely sharing a placenta. They will make a final decision on this on Friday since I will be a day short of 9 weeks. If they are sharing a placenta that will put me at a higher risk or complications down the line. Twins who share same sac and placenta have a 50% survival rate.

Well I will definitely keep you guys updated. It will be a long journey and its finally hitting me that I am pregnant. You guys should see my belly. I am showing already and I am almost 9 weeks.

Rosario I'm glad your appt. went well. You have a long road ahead so I'm glad you are getting all the support and knowledge you can. Good luck on your appt on friday, I hope everything looks great for your twins. I can picture your belly, OMG you are carrying 3 babies in there!!! I was showing at 2 months and it was a singleton!!!

AFM Tomorrow is the big day. They call me and said I go in at 12 for transfer and all 3 little embies are still viable. I'm not sure what to do, how many should I transfer?? They did not say grade or anything, so we'll go in tomorrow and we'll have to make a decision right there. I have no clue what to do. With DS we got preg with just one little embie, follow two BFN with 2 embies in each so I'm not sure if we should do 2 or 3. What do you guys think?? I'll let you know what we did tomorrow after transfer!!! Wish me LUCK please!!! I'll need it tomorrow!!!

My thoughts & prayers are with you hon. Get some rest & just relax. You'll find out everything you need to know tomorrow. Sometimes I think the doc's like to keep us in the dark so we don't worry so much. One or two embies was my choice three was not even an option. It only takes one. So excited for you!! I was planning on putting 3 back, but only had 1 viable. And look how it has worked out for me!! Only you and DH can make that decision. I knew that I wanted twins, but I didn't think I could handle triplets. We would have been faced with some hard decisions. There are a couple of studies that I ran across showing the benefit of only transferring 1. You just have to follow your heart.

I will be thinking of you today. GO HOME AND REST AS SOON AS IT IS OVER. STAY IN THE BED, DRINK FLUIDS. REST, REST, REST.

kayce - GL on your transfer today. Trying to decide how many is a hard decision. If only put back 1 or 2 then and it doesn't work then you will always wonder if the 3rd would have worked. On the other hand if you put back more then 1 you have a chance of multiples. For me I am fine with Twins but I don't have any other children so I know this decision is so much harder. Your RE will tell ya how your embies are doing and should help you decide. Also thanks so much for your story. I need all the encouragement I can get right now.


Daisy - I am also so encouraged by your story and only having 1 embie and getting a BFP. CONGRATS!!!!

Rosario - Glad your appt went well. Your looking at a long journey but will be well worth it once you give birth to those babies.

Johannanita - I kind of asked for double HCG. I have had issues with "empty follicles" and read a article that sometime the HCG is not enough to prime the eggs to release from the follicles. According to some RE's there is no such thing as empty follicles that there are eggs in there but just arn't primed enough to release. So I asked to have my HCG changed around and the RE recommended double HCG which is just 2 ovidrel shots instead of one. Don't know if it will help. As far as your question about when the cycle begins, I believe most consider that the cycle begins when you start BCP's. Not all the injectible drugs are stims, some people also have injectable PIO and estrogen. As far as you dosage, you are actually on a pretty low dose. I have seen ladies on as high as 600u of follistim and also taking Menopur.

angeinhull - Congrats on your 12 eggs. YEY!!!

wickedwheeel - Haven't heard from you in awhile. Hoping that you got a BFP but I am thinking since you haven't posted that it might be the other way around.


AFM - Had to wake up at 130am to take my trigger shot. After that couldn't sleep at all because I was thinking of my next steps if this cycle is a bust. Ya know I always have a plan. Of course I am not counting this cycle off yet, HOPING AND PRAYING for some good EGGS. Needles to say I am really really tired now because I didn't get much sleep after 130.

Bit pants in a way, but I think i'd rather have 1 fab egg than 2 'ok' eggs put in. But maybe I've taken that attitude as we don't really have a choice! lol

Kasey - Must be a common side effect with stims. I just can't remember if I felt like this last time! I feel like in these last few days I've swollen everywhere! Really feel like these follies are ready to come out! Just hoping that I don't OHSS!!

Johnannanita - I'm just hoping out of those 28 follies 1 turns into a baby! I'm sure it was 28 - that's what it looked like on the post-it note, or maybe 23? well either way there was a lot and some very large ones as well!

Hello Ladies!!!! Just a quick update!!! I went in for ET this morning a had 2 embies transfered (we decided to go for just 2). We had one 8 cell and a 7 cell embies that weren't the best quality so I was a little shocked. We've had 2 previous cycles with perfect embies and BFNs. I'm keeping the faith and hoping this will work for us!!!!
OMG I'm not sure if it's too much to ask for but I only pray to God for one more... just one more baby, a sibling for DS and I'm all done!!!!

Thank you all for the PMA and good wishes, you ladies are the best!!!! I'm going to take it easy for these 4 days, DH took some days off so he can babysit. I'll keep you posted!!!
