Hey all,

Ok so I'm doing the Buserelin, but I have discover tummy is a lot less painful than leg!!!

Is there anything I should be doing for the next three weeks (until my base scan)? Like eat specific stuff or do lots of exercise??

I feel a bit lost like I should be doing more?? :?

Hey girls,

Just wanted to update you on my situation, On Monday 20th Sep I went for scan they said my lining was not thick enough it was 5.9 so had booked another scan for the Fri. Went Friday 23rd Sep and the lining was thicker it was 6.9/7.1 so I thought great I should go in for ET the weekend. I was told to wait for a call that day for further instruction. The phonecall came and was told to keep using the patches but not to inject myself with the burselin on the monday 27th Sep in the morning as i had to book for another scan also for the same day. I didnt understand that I thought it would be my time for the weekend I was devestated, building myself up so I would be prepared for it. I was upset and wanted it done and had no control of the situation at all. All the anticipation, worry and hope. I went to work after the hospital appointment in a daze and just wanted to cry. I have been trying to get a sick certificate from my doctors also but trying to get intouch with him was impossible so was in limbo from friday not knowing what will happen, I couldnt handle it and feel apart at work just so sad and just cant get the not knowing feeling to go away having to wait for the weekend to be over. Now Monday is nearly here and feeling nervous lol silly really all these feelings, it feels different this time round different drugs and all that just hope it works. If im signed off sick I will be sofa bound and crossing my fingers and toes that this time is my partners and mine time. Ill update you all very soon. Hope everybody is ok as noone has been on here for a while only me and amsey so it would be nice to hear from you all again i love reading all your updates.

Amsey pal lol - They say dont drink fizzy drinks and eat healthly, excercise when you can and try and stay stress free. Thats all I know.

If anyone can add then that would be great? I know once inpregnated you must avoid some cheeses, seafood. Let us both know if possible what else to avoid whilst on treatment and 2ww??

Speak to you all soon. :)

Lisa- I really don't know if there is any right thing to eat. I know what they say to avoid during all of pregnancy which would include the 2ww. Avoid: sushi, any undercooked meats, deli meats, undercooked eggs, unpasturized cheeses etc. You do not have to avoid all seafood. Just fish that are high in mercury. (shark, swordfish, etc) During my 2ww I made this HUGE pasta salad and munched on it for a week. LOL It was just a pound of penne pasta cooked al dente. Then I added green beans, cherry tomatoes, hearts of palm, artichoke hearts, fresh basil leaves, mozzerella balls, broccoli, sugar snap peas and any other veggies you want. Then top with a bit of olive oil and balsalmic vinegar. Toss salad and make sure it is cold. I ate that thing for a while. It was better then standing up cooking. I just laid on the couch and ate fresh veggies.
So many people have different instructions from their Dr as to what to do. Some people are told to not do much for the whole 2ww. I was on a plane headed for North Carolina 2 days after the ET. Not working but still... I just slept when I was tired and watched a lot of tv.
Anyhow...I hope you are doing well. I hope everything went well for you today. :)

Amsey- How are you doing dear?

AFM- level II u/s tomorrow. I had them bump it up because I am sooooo impatient. LOL I can't believe in 28 hrs I will find out the sex of my little soccer player. It has been kicking the crap out of me!!!!! Love and hugs to you all!

Hey all,

Hope you guys are all doing good keeping the PMA!!

I am at home resting up from my Egg Retrieval yesterday, they managed to get 6, which I'm a bit disappointed with as I had alot of Follicles! :( :( :(
Is it normal to Bleed?? and feel so much pain (I'm struggling to pass urine?)

The hospital have called, two have fertilised which I've had a cry over is it normally so few that fertilise?
I am back in Friday for my ET. Excited an Terrified all at the same time!!!

Any Advise???

I feel so out of control at the moment!!

Big Hugs
