Janice, yes both have the same dates, I had ET on 11/7 and testing on 11/20, that's too far away from today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! , I will try to wait, but I was thinking the same as you, maybe next weekend.....or by the end of next week

Ellie, congratulations on your ET, and as you said, it only takes one to become PG so hang in there!!!!, I'm sending you lots of sticky baby dust!!

Hi Janine - yes, we will be very close. Hope you're hanging in there with the injections. These really aren't too bad. I have my first US/BW on Monday - it's earlier this time because they want to keep my E2 low, last time it was too high and they had to take me of stims for a few days at the end trying to avoid ohss....

I have my blastocyst ET tomorrow morning at 10 am. When they called me yesterday they told me that 6 were left. I'm so excited that my DH and I have even gotten to this point. We have never even fertilized and egg before so that alone is a big step and making it to day 5 with 6 left is icing on the cake. I hope I have some to freeze. My quick update:
My ET went well. They put 2 8-cell grade A embies. I still don't know if I can freeze the rest.
hopeful-in-LV, I have one correction to your list: my ER was on the 6th, not 5th. Thank you. My preg. test is on the 21st.
Ladies, I'm panicing now. I told you long time ago that i had my ears plugged for 3 days. Well, it turned out that i have cold. I measured my temp today and it was 99.4F. I know that fever can affect embryo development. I'm so scared. Please help! What should I do?

KF 06 congrats on you ET!!!!!, we are testing one day apart...
Regarding your temperature, it is mildly elevated, if it keeps rising I would probably take a Tylenol (which is the only drug we are allowed to take as far as I know) and of course in that case also let your RE know to see what he has to say.....but for now relax, go to bed, watch some good movies, have some soup, lots of fluids, and enjoy your embies!!!

NO ONE TEST... HPTS are EVIL...lol.. you took an HCG shot so you could get a false POS and I had a friend that tested the morning of her bloodwork and got a BFN.. but guess what... She was PG with TRIPS... crazy huh...

and don't forget that Progesterone can make you feel PG!!!! so try (as hard as it is) not to read into everything...

Good luck ladies... I have 5 more days until BW... GULP.. I hate test days.... soooo scary!!!

Sarah V- Yes they are called embies at this stage. We have the same embies and transfering on the same day, so we will find out at the same time!!!

Ellie- Think postive, it REALLY does only take 1, will keep you in my prayers. Hope the 2ww goes quickly for you.

KF'06- Good job on the grade A embies. Take it easy and get lots of rest, and drink LOTS of fluids to flush out your body.

Just want to say a big thank you to those who replied to my last message- vicky, Hopeful and Sassynlv. I really appreciated it and definatly feel a lot calmer. As you say they won't risk my health and if they feel there is any risk I will hopefully have some embies to freeze. I am in their hands and what will be will be!

Vicky- Hope your holding out! It will drag but you'll get there.

Mia- Sorry to hear you had so much trouble with your shots. Really feel for you, and pleased they are letting hubby do it. Can only imagine your disappointment when you hit that blood vessel and have to inject again. Hope things improve now.

Hey ladies--
Finally-I got the ok to take my trigger shot tonight at 11:30 for a Monday morning retrieval. As of today I have 16 follicles. Not bad for someone who almost had their cycle cancelled! I'm pretty shocked!

wannababy That is great news for you. Keep positive and hope all goes well on monday for EC. you have great numbers, but as we keep saying it only takes one.

Praise to God and thanks to your prayers, my cyst is gone!!! I got the go today (CD2) to start the menopur injections tonight (4cc). I do this for 5 nights, go back to RE on 16th for follie check. Scheduled retreival will be on the 21st (Tues before Thanksgiving) with transfer on Friday. I am so glad to get going with this. Wish me luck on my first injection.

Sarah - I only have 1 ovary also. 8 embies is a great number. If I get that many, I'll be tickled pink. Good luck tomorrow.

Susan - hoping your surge comes soon. hang in there.

KF-06 - hope you get to feeling better. My whole family has it, no fun. A humidifier is a great help also.

Wow! So much is going on-I haven't been on in a week, and there is a lot to catch up on!

I had my ER on Wednesday. They got 8 eggs, 6 mature, and 6 developed.

Today I had my ET and they put 3 back-either two 6, and one 8 or the other way around. I got confused.

The other 3 they will monitor for the next few days to see if they will be able to freeze (they said they think 1 will not make it). I had my dh take a phot of the embryo's on the monitor with his cell phone! It was just so cool to see them!

I go back on the 23 for bt-but I think they are going to call and tell me to come the next day because the 23rd is Thanksgiving. We'll see...
