Yesterday it was 98.9 but i checked earlier today and its back down to 97.9 which i think is fine, its just that its up and down. I wondered if this was a normal occurence after ET but i gess not - but then again my body likes to be different !!!!!

Kas~ during my first cycle, my temp was up all the time, hovering around 98.8/ 99.1. I think it's thanks to the progesterone we take.
My temps yesterday was 97.9 and this morning was 98.7..although, coming to think of it that was before the progesterone. Could the hcg injection do that? Just like temps go up during ovulation? ER is equal to ovulation during IVF.
I would not worry about it though. I had a temp of up to 102.5 on the third day after transfer of my first cycle. Scared me big time and I was passed out on the couch, totally dizzy, I never felt like that in my life. It lasted a day without any other symptoms. Bizarre, isn't it?

Keep taking your temp ...it's a good idea and it gives you an idea of what's happening in your body. That tired feeling could be from pregnancy  I was totally exhausted.

Good luck

Hey thanks both of you for the reassurance!!

I seem to have exactly the same syptoms that you had then Val as i am day 2 or 3 past transfer and i am dizzy, tired and hot basically!!!! We have taken so many hormones and drugs i'm sure my body has no idea what is going on, so for now i will just go with the flow.....

If i transferred 3 embies (known in our house as 'snap', 'crackle' and 'pop') on Saturday does this mean they should implant tomorrow - i think that will be day 6 ????

Got to go for now, will check back in tomorrow - dh just got home (yay!!! )

Kas - Vals answer sounds pretty good to me  I didnt know any of that- I dont think of us as pregnant until we gave ET, I thouht you just had ER .

But those temps sound ok to me- anything like 99.8 or 100 I think is high but it also depends on your normal resting temp which varies on us all

fevers always make me nevrous, especially after semi invsive procedures like ET, ans it can be a sign of infection. So I am always over the top cautious, cause Im a freak like that :o

Val, I am still working on a email for you

MzTia I am with you with th ehot flashes, just lastnight I woke up and my top was drenched... I always sleep under cover but the air and fan was on, I was amazed of how hot I was. I guess it is all the hormones.

Kas101 did you imblant blast? I had assisted hatching, I really believe my embies implanted within 24 hours of my transfer because I had very light spotting. The normal is 6-10 days, so they could be implanting any day now. Good luck, hope snack, crackle and pop stick!

Valerie I agree with being tired. I already am not a night person, now I catch myself in bed before 8 in the evening. It is becoming really sad, but I know I need the rest so no complaints here..

Tobee I know your ET will go just find, I am praying that they stick. Just try to get some rest and not think about that dreaded 2WW :-)

Muchhope I am thinking about you. I am hoping you get great fertilized eggs and this cycle works for you....

I want to say thanks to everyone for the well wishes on my exciting news, I am just hoping that the u/s goes well. Since having the fluid drained from the OHSS I am starting to feel better, my stomach is still bloated and is still sore but hopefully th eworse is over. I return on Thursday or Friday to see if fluid has returned.

I did TCM diet and am now allowed to have cold veggies (summer) so eventually you will be able to eat salad again.
I cut out alcohol, wheat, meat, dairy, caffeine and kind of like it.

Rice crackers and hummus, non- dairy cheese, and a couple of other treats like popcorn, apples w/ almond butter, and stuff have reallys saved me. My AC has me go by the 80/20 rule. After my initiation into the diet, she believes you also have to live, so I try to do it 80% of the time. Once a week I have a little cheese in an omelet or a bite of cake at a birthday party.

Also- to answer the sugar question - you don't want your blood sugar spiking all the time, so switching to agave syrup (like a honey but doesn't raise blood sugar) or using stevia (no fake sugar - splenda nutrasweet) packets is best.

Hi Girls

I am feeling a little down and in need of a pick me up. I got the day 3 report after the PGD. The cells are off to be analyzed and the transfer is still scheduled for Thurs afternoon. However, he said "some look better than others" and some "might have less fragmentation than before". But some look like the previous two cycles. He didn't say how many look better than others. I won't know anything more until the transfer on Thurs. He said it could still be due to too much stimulation, or some other unknown chromosone issue that is being produced. :? I was so hoping for better news and that the growth hormone they had me on improved it a lot. The quality could still increase a little by Thursday. But he said my chances of getting pregnant would be about the same as the chance the previous cycles due to the quality and those both ended in chemical pregnancies. It will be a long two days until get to hear how the embryos they can use turn out.

Don't be down. It sounds like some are better.

I have been working a lot on what gets me down, and its usually because I have imagined some higher number than what I have, and that disparity is what gets me down. I ask for the strength to accept what is, and then I route for those embies that I have. It really just takes one, and it really is better to have one or two good ones than many many fragmented or non growing ones.

Just say to yourself "i accept and nurture what I have"

Don't be down. We'd all love 12 great embies w/ 3 to transfer and 9 to freeze, but that doesn't mean people don't go on to have babies w/ much, much less.

Thanks Stefanie

I understand what you are saying. However, in my case they all have some degree of fragmentation and uneven cells. Of my 15 I will only get to select from 5-7 due to the genetic disorder. You are right though. As long as one of those is one that looks better it might work. Even though none look perfect or great. It only takes one moderate one.
