ny- i think your sudden sharp pain was an announcement from your embies that they are hard at work!! positive omen.

kke- for ER and ET- many say you can go back to normal duties the next day. for ER, you will either be sedated or totally out. its more invasive, more recovery needed. you'll be sore. you can't drive for 24 hrs- legally impaired. last cycle, i worked the next days after both. this time i took a week off just to rest. ET is much simpler. it's really up to you.. look to your clinic for any advice specific to your situation.

sloan- awesome beta #'s!!! sounds like twins!!! i'd love to have twins - how do you feel about it?

havbaby. good luck with that u/s tomorrow!

prayin- sorrry to hear about your clotting disorder. but i'm also glad they found it now, could prevent a m/c for you. i'm going to my obgyn this week and asking for tests like that. if i'd known to ask for them before- i would have.

chris- i hear your frustration on the lupron decision. reminds me of my dhea decision struggles- both my RE and obgyn said 'no' to dhea, but i did my own research and did it anyways. i struggled between 'they are the experts', and 'they don't have at stake what i do'....it WAS A LOT OF PRESSURE- trying to figure that out and make my best decision. not fun. i think this is what you're going thru. it sounds to me, like you are making a good, and not-too-risky decision with adjusting your lupron.

lady j- i got in trouble from my RE for doing FSH injections in my thigh. they wanted them in my stomach.. i'm not sure why. they are best going into fatty tissue- that is the nature of a subcutaneous injection. ask your RE. for me, the stomach didn't hurt- it was a mental block that i got over. if you press on the injection site afterwards, it prevents bruising.

amanda- i had a 3day transfer too. mine were 6 and 7 cells. the range my clinic told me for 3days was 6-8 cells. but keep in mind '3days'- at what point in the day are you getting this info. as morning could differ greatly than evening. and it's all dependent on when they were fertilized too. if your clinic is saying it's good- then it's good. plus, embies can always catch up too - within reason.

well still no signs of AF for me!!! yah!!!!!!!!!!!! ttyallsoon.

Michelle - I am so sorry you got your BFN. I know it just sucks, there is no way to sugar coat the devastation. Sorry, I don't remember your history. Was this your first IVF? Go out and have some fun, cry a little and then come back to us and try again if that is possible. Like Karen said we will still be here. I am still posting on the Aug/Sep board even though everyone has made it through there cycles, we can't cope with shutting down the board yet.

Gina - Wishing you the best of luck today. That is funny how you make a wish with the different times. I never thought about that. I do think 11/11 is a good sign. I have 5 brothers and sisters. For the first 3 of us our birthdays ended up being 5/5, 2/22 and 8/8. How weird is that? How many are you going to transfer?

Karen
- Only 2 more days till your BFP. Are you going to at least POAS that morning. I would just have to because I couldn't take the nurse telling me bad news if that is what it came down to. Good luck and YEAH no AF.

Kas - I so agree with you the my RE should have brought me in for more testing then wait a week. They did the same thing in July and this is part of the reason I am not too happy with them and why I will be changing if the outcome of this cycle in not good. To me they seem like a baby factory, the put you on the assembly line and you got to keep on it, and there is no adjustments. This other RE in St. Louis is Dr. Silber. He has written a few books on pregnancy and also does some other treatments that are not offered at my clinic. One is mini IVF where they use clomid to stimulate you. Then they retrieve your eggs and freeze them. Then do a frozen cycle later. If this doesn't work, I am thinking I might look into that next. They don't have to worry about down regulation this way and my E2 levels shouldn't matter. I am know kind of regretting that I didn't switch before this cycle but that was the decision I made and I will have to live with it.

KKE - About work and ER & ET, I went back to work the day after ER. ER was a cake walk for me but some people have had pain. It kind of depends on how many eggs they retrieve. You will probably have a lot more discomfort if you have a lot of eggs. After ET is another story. I had ET on a Saturday and just took it easy on Saturday and Sunday and went back to work on Monday. Some people do bed rest. That is up to you and your RE if you do best rest and for how many days.

Has anyone tried the Starbucks Dark Chocolate Rasberry Mocha Frappuccino? It is one of those in the bottles that you can buy at the store. I am drinking one now and it is so good. This is my first one. Obviously my sweather like it also because I just noticed that I have spilled some on it. Oh well, no one is here at my work today. All the government people are off. Hope everyone has a good day.

mrscutter- 10 follies is nothing to look down on. I had 11 follies last time. Ended up getting 6 mature eggs. Like you said you only need 1. Good luck with ER tomorrow.
