Okay, I'm on Lupron! I started on Friday night. So far, no side effects. I feel okay. DH is worried we're not doing it right LOL. I told him this morning it's only been three days. If you want me to be moody, give me a few more days

so Lady J, you are feeling okay on the lupron? also, I'm going to go see Coraline this coming weekend, so thanks for the review!

Hello Ladies... Good Afternoon. I am just here at work, eating lunch at my desk. I was so busy this morning. But I got alot of work done. I figure I need to catch up cuz I may be taking a couple days off for my ER/ET. First cycle I took a whole week off. The day of ER all the way until a week after ET. I know it was not neccesary,, I had a good rest though. This time I only plan on taking the day of ER and the day of ET plus 1 extra day. Or maybe that isn't even neccesary. To the ladies that got your BFPs, how many days after ET did u take off? Thanks.

aspotoftea.... COngrats on starting Lupron. Everyone is different when they are on meds. I myself havnt felt any major symptoms on Lupron. I had a headache last week, but it turned out to be my head coold I had. I felt better all weekend and today. I have been more emotioknal lately, so that may be a symptom, bujt I haven't been grouchy or anything. If I recall, you feel more moods when u r on Stims. As for Coraline, great movie, have fun. Jenn... be strong hun and hold out on that HPT. U have a few more days, it will be here before u know it. So how r u feeling? WOw, u have alot of frozen embies. Congrats. I hope I get that many to freeze, at least a few.

Shelly... I hope ET went well. Let us know hoe it went, how many embies did u put back?. When is Beta? Good Luck Hun.

Tburks... Sorry u r getting anxious in the 2WW. It drives u crazy doesn't it? Well, nurse is right about the HPT. U dont want to get a result that will make u stress out more than u need to. Just try to be strong and wait for your Beta. Sorry no embies were left to freeze. Hopefully u get your BFP and u won't need them unless u plan on having more. As for the symptoms, it does sound promising.

Well as for me, still no AF. It sucks when u want it to show it doesn't, but when u dont want it to show, it never fails.

Lady J...I actually feel fine. Started to feel a little bloated again though and can't button any of my pants. I have a rubberband going through the button hole and attached to the button to keep them up.

Good thing I sit behind a desk all day.

Other than that, I feel fine. I've been sitting here at work trying to think of a way to get a BETA sooner than Monday, the 16th. I bet if I called my regular family dr he would give me a BETA, but I'm scared of a BFN.

I'm driving myself crazy today.

First off, kimbob, BITE YOUR TONGUE…LOL I think twins would be totally cool, but quads…I don’t think I could handle it emotionally, physically or monetarily…I'm a lowly govt worker and DH is a firefighter remember? I’ve heard of the nasal spray but it wasn’t an option for me. How’s that going?

to_have_fun08 – I think you made the decision for the right reasons! You have to go with your feelings at the time and maybe your bodies telling you right! At least your insurance covers IVF…I had to pay everything out of pocket since DH’s vasectomy was voluntary. Good luck with your IUI today! Let us know how it went!

Kcraven – You got to transfer blasts…woohoo…BFP here you come!

Molly23 – Good information…thanks! I’ve been trying to figure out how PG I am. I called to schedule appt with my NMF and they wanted to know if I should be going by first day of last cycle or by ET date. How should I know!? And don’t worry about no symptoms…there are days I feel nothing and days I feel so much!

Rosario – 100%...you’ve got some good eggs girl! Isn’t it funny your doc advised against 3 and yet the crazy lady in Cali got 6 transferred!

hopeful~n~09 – I’m not sure if AF will mess up your cycle but I would think not. I started while on BCP’s and RE wasn’t worried at all about it. They still did my saline sonogram and everything…nice! And, I started all my stim meds on time as well.

Lady_J – Doesn’t it suck to wish AF would get here already? I scheduled the whole week of ER and ET off. I worked a half day after ER and then wasn’t feeling good the next and then ET was the next. So, I basically had the whole week off! Then since ET was a Friday, I had the weekend to laze around, then back to work on Monday.

Tburks – Just stay strong and don’t POAS!! It worked for me, but it was still very emotional! As for PIO, I’m on 1cc as well. I thought once I got the BFP, they’d lower it, but my nurse said they won’t check it again until our first u/s, the 20th. Sorry no snowflakes, hopefully you won’t need any!

shelleyj5 – Good luck with ET!! You’re now PUPO!

JennLB25 – What good numbers for your snowflakes! I only got 3 to freeze and they were all frozen at day 3! Sounds like you’ve got some good embies as well…Good luck! I as well thought I’d be just fine, and I was for the first week. Then it kicked in, and I was a mad woman! Be strong, don’t POAS!

Brown01 – Great numbers for you too! There are some good egg producers on this board!

aspotofTea – Don’t worry, you’re not doing it wrong! My only side effect was occasional headaches. Most of my stuff didn’t happen until I started stims! That was a wild ride!

As for me, just waiting with baited breath until our first u/s, the 20th. I want to know how many are in there! I have been contemplating on seeing if my NMF will do another BETA for me. What do you ladies think? DH talked me into BD’ing this weekend after the BFP, and now I’m paranoid all over again! I told him no more until our u/s to hear the heartbeat! LOL I’m exhausted already, and my appetite has increased a ton! I act like a teenager smoking a joint, got the munchies constantly! And my breasts are way more tender than they were when I started PIO, and my nipples are ultra senstive

And here’s a weird tidbit of TMI, my urine reeks! It started about a week ago and I figure it’s from the PIO. Anyone else experiencing this? Weird!

shelley: How did it go??? How many did you end up putting in? When is your Beta?

As for me....everyhing went well today. We put in 2 5 cell embryos. They will let me know tomorrow how the others are doing. My beta is scheduled for Feb 20th.

did you have any symptoms at all b4 beta? if not how long after did you start having them? i have been keeping a daily journal throughout this whole thing. you only transfered 2 right? i would think the possibility of quads would b slim. i hope i don't need snowflakes either. hopefully we will have 2 this time around and i'll b done! i just feel normal and it concerns me.

I think you should take as much time as u can. to tell u the truth i think i was more sore after ET. i just felt so tender inside.

the main side effect i had from lupron was hot flashes. bad hot flashes! and back ache

i came real close to transfering 3. now i'm almost wishing i would've. DH wanted to tranfer 3 too but the embryologist was so against it we didn't. it's hard bc if the 2 don't implant we will blame ourselves that we should've done 3. i think you made a good choice - on the other hand r u ready if u get 3! any # is a blessing. just want them to b healthy

You know tburks, I felt crappy that weekend, then I felt fine. Everytime I ate, I bloated big time and I was crampy off and on. It was so up and down! Don't look too much into symptoms, I've read that ALOT of people have no symptoms whatsoever!

So ladies I am feeling really crappy right now I am so scared that this uncoming FET will fail just like the two previous IVFs have resulted in BFN I guess that I am just having a horrible day and just want a pity party for myself I also have a confession to make I have yet to tell my husband that the transfer that we done in Jan was a BFN because he has told me numerous times that he will leave if this fails again because he blames it on me for not working I feel so horrible about not telling him and I am also scared to death at the same time I know I am just a horrible person for not telling him but I am just so scared and besides the board and a few other people that I can talk to I feel so alone

Everything went great for us today. We were able to transfer 2 chromosomally normal early blasts!! My RE said they were around 100 cells or so. Does that seem right? Only 2 out of our 9 embryos were normal. Isn't that amazing? I guess that could be the reason we have had so many miscarriages. There are 3 embryos that are questionable...they are going to watch these for a couple more days and possibly freeze some or all of them. I'd love to have at least one frostie, but I'm just so thankful we were able to transfer 2 today! Oh, & another exciting thing...we know they transferred one boy and one girl! I can't believe I'm PUPO with boy/girl twins!!! I can't stop smiling

Now, I need all the sticky vibes I can get!!! I'm keeping my PMA soaring high. I have my beta on the 17th...only 8 days. Or should I say 8 long days!! Although mine seems earlier than most everyone elses. Weird. Oh well, I won't complain. I gave all my HPTs to my mom so I won't be tempted to POAS. I am usually a POAS finatic, so we'll see. I really want to wait.

Espinoza... Hun.... what is going on??? I am so sorry for what you are going thru. I am sort of confused, u havnt told DH about the BFN? He hasnt questioned it? When do you plan on telling him? I guess you have your reasons hun, but why would he blame you? I dont agree with that, it is defenitly NOT your fault hun, no matter what he may think. IVF is a matter of luck and chance. So it is in no way your fault, and I dont mean to sound mean, but he may actually be a part of the reason if he is causing you this stress especially thru your cycle. have you had a heart to heart talk with him and told him that u need his support thru this? Hun, I don't know what else to say, but apart from this I really do wish you get your BFP when you do your FET. But remind your DH that you need to be stress free thru this. Well for me. I am still POAS, and today I instantly got a line, and you can even see it with the lights off. I know, don't get too excited, but of course I cannot help it. Will Friday ever come. I just am glad I have the day off, so I can take whatever news privately and not be at work. The line on the pregnancy test came so quick this morning, and I cried a little.

You know what - come to think of it I had a headache for the longest time after Lupron. i thought it was stress but it might have been the lupron. it was always in the back lower part of my head

i'm confused as to how DH doesn't know you had a BFN last time to. I also agree that stress can do alot of harm. My RE told me that was the worse thing was to stress out. So i have been trying to sing a lot to keep me in a good mood and thinking good thoughts. i'm so sorry this is causing such trouble between you and DH. this should b a joyous time and a time for the two of you to come closer together no matter the outcome - you want babies just as much as he does and when it hasn't worked in the past i'm sure you have hurt worse than him. maybe he is just saying these things bc he's scared. i'll keep you two in my prayers.
