I don;t have too much time, but just wanted to say hi and update you all...
I had the sonohystogram today. They said they repeat it to make sure they got every thing out at surgery. I asked him what happens if they didn't get it all, and he said we do surgery again...I told him if that happened I think my head would actually explode right there in the office...and thank goodness, it was all clear! Now I have to go in the morning for supression u/s and bw, and as long as those are ok, I will get the official word to start stims on friday...woohoo!
cymplicity- congrats on a positive hpt! It is very exciting to see those 2 lines!
sbr- it is true, whatever is meant to be, will be...there is not much anyone can do about it. I do hope the rest of your 2ww goes by quickly.
Wow, there will be a lot of betas around the same time!
dys- Good luck at transfer tomorrow! I will be thinking about you. Let me know how it goes. Have you had any fert updates? Is your spotting gone or slowing down yet?
hjw- the mall bunny was very creepy, you can see at ella's website....eeek
Well, my dh did stay home from work today so I could finally go get some professional pics done of ella and we could see the easter bunny. After a couple hours (a few breaks in between) we got some awesome pics! I am so happy we did it...I uploaded them to her website which is in my signature, please feel free to check them out...you can also copy and paste: http://ellamichele.shutterfly.com/
I think this one is our favorite, but make sure you go check out the rest too!

Cymplicity, that is so exciting that your POAS were positive! I was a bit chicken to do the POAS, but I'm planning to do them! My First Response pg kit is sitting on the back of the toilet waiting more patiently than I am!

Hi Trying for another Angel,
I am just starting my first ivf cycle. I stop bcp today, and start lupron on 4/9. I am both excited and nervous. I just joined this site tonight.
CT-Michelle-it looks like you and I are on a very similar schedule.
hi everyone! my ER went well yesterday, they sedated me with diazepam and pethidine, im too drowsy to see the procedure, had 9 eggs and 4 fertilized today, hoping for thursday ET. i had upper abdominal pain yesterday probably bec i didnt ate much, had toast for breakfast at 6am, left the clinic at 12pm.. still sleepy when i hop in the car for 3 hrs drive, i only had soup my tummy was so crumpy, i took gaviscon and it helps. i also started crinone progesterone suppository, not that bad.. i only had pinkish spotting after the retrieval... all settled now. it's not that bad as i expected.
michelle- im glad you are on the track now.. suppression time.. yipee.. it's been a long waiting.. i check ella's easter pics.. she's so gorgeous.. and the pics wherein she's surrounded by cats.. those meows are bigger than her.
sbr- i like what you shared about nature will take its course on implantation.. though im a little bit scared.. i'll try all i can to do what's best.
hazel- thank you for your support. 5th day stimming.. time really fly so fast... grow follies grow!
Thank you god!!!!! Thank you all for the prayers I finally got bfp this morning!!!!! I poas clearblue easy said yes plus hope they are accurate my beta is Friday
Michelle - You got me worried with the Sonohyst. I think your head would explode but some of ours too. Happy to know you begin this journey on Friday for a sister or brother for Ella. What a Cute Baby, I loved her eyes. She seems so happy.
Cimplicity - CONGRATULATIONS. Yay!!!!
sbr - You are right, there is nothing we can do, but sometimes we think, if I haven't do (fill the blank), it might work. This is just crazy, to wait so long.
Yesterday I went to bw to see my level of progesterone and stradiol. The nurse told me everything is allright and to continue with the same dose. I asked her if this tell something about whats going on inside and she said Yes. If the level go low, is bad news, but if the level mantain, that says is a very good sign. What do you think?
Tabitha---CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! what exciting news!
Michele--Ella is adorable! We had Jacks pics taken too, I'll try to post them sometime! We also went to have pictures witht the Easter Bunny yesterday
AFM....well as of yesterday one 1 egg had fert, but she said she looked really early and to not worry until she looks at them today. We knew this was a possiblility since we didnt do ICSI and DH has only 1%morphology. I was hoping for at least 2, we got three last time,so I'm just waititng to hear from them today....we might freeze this one and try to get another ER in before the insurance is gone and then hope that we can scrape up the money later for a FET??? We dont really know what to do! I hate making life decisions based on insurance and money, but I dont really have a choice. I felt bad last night as I was bitching and DH said "well I guess this wouldn't have been a problem if you married a guy who was rich with normal sperm!" My heart melted and I knew I should be happy for the DS we have now becasue I wouldn't want to have any other husband. Wish us luck!

Cymplicity and Tabitha, congrats on your BFP!!! Woo hoo!!
Sari, glad your levels are maintaining. They say it doesnt tell them much about if you are pregnant, but Im not sure that is true or why else would they be testing it.
Neffi- How did Jack like the easter bunny? I hope you got a good pic! I know exactly how you feel about making life decisions based on money. I work really hard to keep us out of debt, we live within our means...I refuse to go into debt for almost anything, I have a small amount of student loans but no credit card or car payments, but I have decided that the one thing worth the debt is ivf. And I didn't think that way before Ella. I use to say, "well, insurance will give us 2 trys and if it doesn't work then it wasn't meant to be." But now that I have here, I just can't imagine not have another, or 2 more to complete my family. So I am making plans to afford it somehow. I know these are hard decisions to make...and I wish you all the best.
Sari- Ella is a very happy baby, almost never cries, and I love her eyes too, I hope they stay blue, dh and I do not have blue eyes, but my mom and brother do, so maybe she will keep them?? I wish I knew more about levels and such, but I don't, hopefully someone here can help you with that.
tabatha- congrats on your positive hpt! Sounds like we have a couple of bfp's coming our way!
kline- congrats on a good ER...4 fertilized is a good number, that's how many I had on my transfer day last time and it worked...so I hope it does for you too. Funny about the cats...when Ella was born she was smaller than all of the cats, she is now bigger than my 9 lb cat, same size as the 15 lb cat and still a few lbs to go to catch my big boy, my 18 lb kitty! Ella just loves the cats, I just wish the cats loved her as much!
sweet- welcome to a wonderful thread. I took my last bcp last night, so it sounds like we are on close schedules. I will be having ER the week of apr 20, how about you?
trying- sounds like you have some good embies! So Transfer tomorrow, how exciting! Do you know how many you will transfer?
dys- good luck on transfer today...we are thinking about you...let us know how it went when you can. And now I am 2 steps closer, with one more to go...
My u/s went well this morning, my ovaries look fine, and now I just have to wait for the b/w phone call later to make sure my hormones are ok, and I will be all clear to start friday. My protocol is 375 units of follistim with 1 vial of menopur, and then I will start ganerelix about halfway through. I can't believe I am almost starting. I want to get going, but at the same time, I am not looking forward to feeling crummy again...but it will all be worth it. I will let you all know when I get the official all clear.
We will go for injection class tomorrow. Someone had asked if we have to repeat it, and the answer was no, we chose to since they offered. I just wanted a refresher, since it has been a while, and honestly, I don't remember what I had for lunch yesterday, so I feel better with the refresher.
Also, someone else asked about the size of my polyp (sorry I don;t remember who). I asked the other day and RE said they don't measure it, but judging from my saline u/s, he said about one centimeter would be a good estimate, I have no idea if that is big or not. He also said it was a tricky removal because of the location of the polyp.
Ok, gotta run for now, but I iwll check in on you all later.
sbr- that first response kit must be calling your name! When are you going to use it? Make sure you let us know.

4th IVF - Fall 2011??
Afternoon all! It's a beautiful sunny afternoon here in the UK and far too nice to sit in front of the computer all afternoon so I'll try and make this a quickie...
dys - thinking of you at ET today. What did they say about your continued spotting? Has it stopped now?
sportsmom - how did your suppression check go today?
babyluv - congratulations on being PUPO. How are you feeling today - are you still having back and leg pain?
sbr - I'm so glad you're feeling better now. It would have been horrible to go back to work feeling the way you were. Hope work is managing to keep your mind off the 2ww! BTW, I'm also a firm believer about nature doing what it is going to, pretty much regardless of how we try and influence things. So while during my 2ww I will avoid the obvious things (alcohol, caffeine, lifting heavy things, aerobic exercise etc), I'm going to try not to obsess too much about every tiny thing. What will be will be.
Cynthia - WOO HOO, a positive HPT! I'm sooo excited for you hun! Roll on beta...
Tabatha - hurray, another positive HPT!
Trying - good luck for ET tomorrow.
sweet - welcome to the thread! Good luck with the Lupron on Thursday.
Neffi - keeping my fingers crossed for more eggs to fertilise today. Let us know how you get on - will be thinking of you.
kline - glad to hear that ER went well. So you're aiming for ET on Thursday - when will you know for sure?
statsgoddess - are your boobs still getting bigger, and have you been out to buy a bigger bra?? Not a side effect I personally would complain about, given what size I am normally - LOL! When I had my baseline assessment last Thursday, the lady doing the scan said that my cervix was at an acute angle, which may make transfer difficult - she said that ER won't be a problem because they don't go via the uterus, but that she would need to make a note of the position of my cervix for the purposes of the people doing the transfer. I'm guessing that this means the same as your tilted cervix/uterus. No-one has ever said anything like that to me before, but it does kind of explain why smear tests over the years and all the IUI procedures were so painful for me. Let's hope we both have nicer experiences at transfer like Cynthia and Latino did with their tilted uterus (it kind of sounds as if this is a fairly common thing, doesn't it?). Anyway, let me know how you get on at your trial transfer next Monday...
Michele - I'm so happy for you that the sonohystogram went well, and the u/s this morning, I was keeping everything crossed very tightly for you! If you start stimming on Friday you will be almost exactly a week after me. Looking forward to being PUPO (for at least part of the time) together... P.S. I see what you mean about the creepy bunny - very scary eyes and tongue. All wrong... The professional bunny is much better, and Ella looks gorgeous in her little Easter outfit! I think my favourite is the one of her reclining on the white sofa and holding her hand out as if about to accept a cocktail from a waiter!!!
AFM, after the injections getting easier, they got worse last night. It was really painful to try and get the needle in anywhere on my stomach. It took me about 20 minutes in the end, so a step backwards. I had acupuncture this morning and the tummy points hurt then as well. So I'm wondering if the stim drugs are making me supersensitive in that area - did anyone else find that? I think I will have to try another injection site tonight! My first u/s is tomorrow (day 7 of stims) so at least I'll find out what's going on inside...

hjw my suppression check appt is at 2pm. I'm really nervous about it because I haven't started my period. I will be highly upset if it delays my stim start. What's so bad is my breasts have been aching and my stomach cramping off & on for a week like AF is about to start- and she takes her sweet time....
Sorry for the hijack, just checking on past cyclers. I'm in limbo right now so am living through all the gals that are cycling.
Tabatha - Congrats on your BFP. WOOHOOO!!!!
Dys - GL on your transfer and suffering through the 2WW. Will be keeping my fingers crossed for a BFP!!!
CT_Michelle - Ella is adorable. Yeah, you finally get to start your cycle. Congrats and Good luck.
Neffi - I don't think I ever actually cycled with you but followed your posts. I was so happy when you got your last BFP. Can't believe you are trying again with a 10 week old but with the insurance issue, I would be too. Good luck!!!

Hazel, do you ever inject in your thigh? I rotated from my stomach to my thighs. At first I found it easier with my thighs, then all of a sudden it seemed like my skin got tougher! It would be painful and harder for th needle to break the skin. May be what you're describing with your tummy. After that, I only did my stomach. So maybe you should switch over to your thighs and try that for a while, give your tummy a break.
Cynthia - 31, blocked tubes, DH - 26, perfect
1st IVF - 3/2009, ER - 3/26, ET - 3/29 BFP!!
hjw - Yes, I actually went to Victoria's Secret last night because I didn't want to be uncomfortable anymore. Fortunately, they were having a 2/$49 sale on most bras and you got $5 off your purchase if you tried on some new one, so I didn't feel too bad about spending the money At least now my soreness is being adequately supported!
Today is probably the best I've felt since starting Lupron, although I'm a bit tired due to some insomnia last night. I'm already counting down to the suppression check on Monday. It's good to know I'm not the only one with the tilted cervix issue. I've worried (probably unnecessarily) that the transfer is going to be difficult and they won't be able to get my embryos in the right place. Eeek.
