Mellow I saw the RE yesterday and the next time we will be doing IVF is spring however we will be doing IUI's with injectables until then since our infertility is mild male/unexplained. Anyways that's the future. However re also did an sns and naturally my lining yesterday cd12 was 13 and a perfect follicle of 20 was there and he just said "why don't we inseminate on Thursday (tomorrow am) and so I triggered yesterday and tomorrow morning we will do our first ever natural iui. In some ways I think maybe without meds it will work since most meds effect me poorly and without them I function so well on my own but having has so many disappointments I don't know what to expect. A friend of mine just got pregnant from an IUI after 5 years ttc so I am trying to be hopeful that it was clomid in my past cycles that made iui's fail. On clomid my lining was always so thin-barely a 7 so I am hopeful. Anyways long story short I guess tomorrow I will be PUPO ....well sorta I guess right?

Thanks so much for asking how I am doing and I am so happy for you. Margi and I will be there soon too

Wow Anna, that sounds good to me. :) You will definitely be PUPO tomorrow. :) Good for you. I hope this is it for you.

Margi, my hubby was on a train heading into LA when I called him...I said how high do you think it is...and he said, 155...I said your a little off. haha :) When I told him, he said ARE YOU SERIOUS! LoL I actually can't believe that is a serious number..I mean we only put two back in. Wow, really shock doesn't even explain how I feel right now. I will get todays beta draw results tomorrow afternoon. It will be interesting to see what they do.
I know you are doing a beta tomorrow, and I know you are feeling down. Keep your hopes up, even if this month didn't work, it's going to work for you, I just know it. I was told that the chances go up each time you do an IUI, and then they kinda draw the line at 4. We know you can get pregnant, we just need one good one! Praying that happens for you! I hope tomorrow you get good news. Thanks for being a great cheerleader!

Rio: Poor, poor DH. How terrible for him. :( I never heard of epidural for treatment...is it a treatment? Or just gives him some relief? The pain must be horrid.

Me? Hanging in there. Feeling a bit crampy this evening. The good news from you ladies helps raise my spirits some. I go in as early as I can get there in the morning and usually have my lab results around noontime. Sigh. I am appropriately prepared for a BFN. Not liking it, but prepared. I really think I am going to push for more aggressive stimulation this next cycle.

Thank you ladies for all your support....Rio, Mellow, Anna, Ladybug, DeeDee, Blair, SD...I couldn't have made it through this 2ww without y'all as my cheerleaders. Thanks for sticking with me and my crazy-stick addiction!

Mellow: Thanks for that. I know that the cumulative chances go up and I will hope for that. You are right, I know I have a "hospitable" uterus (the term of the week) so I will just insist that I get the meds I need to drop enough eggs. Maybe I should hire Tammy as my advocate?

That is a terrific story about DH...good think he wasn't DRIVING...because he would probably have driven off the road with news like that! :D :D I really am so, so happy for you. It's your turn--and it's wonderful. As Anna said: she and I will be right behind ya...possibly before the new year!

Margi
mellow is right the chances do go up the more you do it. My RE said that if this fails we will do a Femera/Gonal F iui's and he suggests 4 so that is 5 including this month. I will keep you in my prayers tomorrow and we will get our babies soon. Like you said we know we can get preggers so its just a matter of tries and we will be there. Big big hugs and I am so happy we get to do this together even if we will be on opposite ends of the 2ww lol but hey we will be there to keep each other sane through crazy-town and you know me I am a total POAS addict.

Mellow: Congrats on that great beta number!

Anna: Can you explain what you are doing this cycle? All natural, or IUI? Any meds? And are you going to stay on this thread? We will be in a close 2ww period together, and I would like to continue to cheer you on!

Margi: I'm still cheering for you, keep your spirits high. It will happen for you. And Margi if this cycle is not for you I would also like to cheer for you

I'm going to call my RE today to see if I can start on Clomid and try naturally, but don't know if I can right after an IVF cycle. Do I need to let my ovaries heal from the IVF meds? I don't want to do an IUI in Dec, I don't think, but still going to try naturally. If Clomid can help my chances then I would like to try it this month. Any experience?

Well I just wrote a long msg to everyone and then got an internal server error when I tried to submit- Figures. Guess Ill start all over again.

Deedle-Good luck with the clomid. I know it works for 50% of the people who try it, and its cheap. I never had an luck with it when we used it with one of our IUI cycles. It made my lining really thin and didnt help with egg production much. I also had horrible hot flashes with it. You may need to take a month off to let your ovaries recover but hopefully it will work out once your try it. Keep us posted on what the RE says.

Mellow- OMG Congrats!!!!!! I checked the boards religiously yesterday looking for your posts. Last night when I saw the number I was sooo excited for you. Its a great beta so early on and definitely sounds like twins to me!!! Cant wait to hear how high yesterdays beta has gotten!!!

annashope- I cant believe you didnt check back in sooner to let us know how great things were going and that you would be PUPO today!!! It sounds to me like you have "the follicle" that will make everything happen for you. Try to relax today and get some rest afterwards. Keep us posted on how the 2ww goes!!!

margi- Even though I know you have prepared yourself for the worst try and stay positive until you get your results. Either way I am glad you were here to share the experience and know that it will work out for you. Fingers are still crossed!

Rio- I know how DH feels- Ive actually had 3 sets of 3 epidural injections in my low back for a degnerative disc (i guess from sports in high school). My last set was with a new MD and ended up being a failed attempt. After the 1st shot (on a friday) I ended up with a spinal headache that I tried ignoring. Finally on Monday I called the office bawling and ended up getting a Blood Patch- fun stuff. The other sets were successful though so hopefully DH starts feeling better so he can prepare for the little one(s). I cannot wait to hear about the US today so keep us posted- I will be checking to hear the good news.

AFM- Living vicariously through Rio for now. DH tried to cheer me up and said the longer we wait to see the US the better developed the baby will be. Just trying to keep that in mind over the next 30 hours.
