Hi fellow Fetters!
I can't believe how closely my own cycle experiences have been to all of yours. I am so glad we're all on this MB!
I also had a scare from the call from the embryologist, only to happily find out that all 3 of my embies survived the thaw. They were all day 5, not as good as quality as the 3 I got transferred for the fresh IVF cycle but who cares. They survived!
I also find it a little strange that I don't feel like I have with any previous cycle, and I've gone through a FET before. My labs were all where they were supposed to be but I don't have the progesterone symptoms that have plagued me before. I'm not that worried about it but it is strange.
I'm really not planning to do a HPT until right before I go for the blood test. I've taken so many in the past. We've also been trying for 7 years and I'ver NEVER seen a positive on one of those. I've grown to really really hate HPT's, they completely depress me.
Vlada, I'm so very happy for you! Don't worry -you're not pregnant with 4 babies. Personally I would really like twins. I am a twin myself & I worry about one baby getting lonely. I know it's silly.
Anyway, thanks for being there FETTERS. All we have to do now is sit back & wait without going crazy. Easier said than done.

Best of luck today Vlada! I suppose you don't really need it because you already know you are BFP!!! Let us know your beta numbers when you find them out!

I am feeling absolutely nothing. With three blasts transferred I figured that I should feel implanatation cramping yesterday or today but so far nothing at all. We found out the day of transfer that my DH has 50% dna fragmentation in his sperm which doesn't bode well for us. I am happy to finally know why these past 5 cycles haven't worked but it is really getting me down with this cycle because I figure that our odds of it working are so slim. I am already planning the next cycle when I am in the middle of this one. Anyway, sorry for feeling so down. I just want to be pregnant and 6 IVF cycles is way too many to go through with no success!!!!

Hope you guys are doing better on your 2ww than I am!

Hi Kelly,
I'm not sure if I'm doing that much better or not with my 2WW. I kinda feel like the day after Christmas & I didn't get anything. I haven't slept in 3 nights & I have no idea why. I just wake up at about 3 or 4 am and then can't get back to sleep.
So the news about the fragmented dna, don't write off this cycle yet. If the embies survived the thawing then they have to be stronger than most I would think. God Bless you for going through this so many times already. You must be a really strong person.
I have mild cramping that I'm thinking is probably the progesterone. I go for my blood test on 8/31 -just in time to potentially ruined Labor Day weekend. My husband wants to go to a college football game the next day & then after that go spend some time at the lake with his aunt & uncle. I think if I'm not pregnant I'll just want to curl up in a ball on the couch & stay there all weekend. I don't think he gets it. We've had 3 BFN's so far so I think he thinks that I should just get over it & go onto the next cycle. Or maybe I'm being a little unfair to him, I don't know.
Anyway, I guess this morning I'm feeling a little down too. Thanks for letting me vent.

Hi Vlada...I agree with Kelly...you just need your offical call and beta numbers....Good luck with numbers...will you also write a short note on your TTC, such as age, diagnosis and treatment etc...that would be good success journey story for others.

Hi 2nd timer,
not able to sleep??? is it anxiety??? I sometimes do mild breathing excercise to help me calm down. Yesterday I POAS....and of course got BFN then I did the breathing to get on with the day....The way I do it is take a nice deep breath from one nostril and let go from other and vice versa. I also noticed that one day I think 4th day of 5dt I forgot to take my aspirin and that night I really did not sleep well. Mild cramping is good. I have few twinges in my lower abdomen. Yesterday I had nausea. No sore boobs. My PT is on 26th....howcome urs is on 31st?

Hi Kelly,
Yes..6 is hard on mind and body....and also on marriage...men have diffent coping behaviour. They want to do somthing to get over it and we just want to lock ourselves in a room. But above all, wy are you loosing hope soooo sooon....I felt twinges on the 3rd day of 5dt. So hang in there...Howcome they found out out fragmentation on the day of transfer? did u do PGD....whats ur diagnoisis???

Here is my story:
I am almost 32 yrs old, DH 36...DH dianosis mild- moderate count and motility issue and me stage 2 or mild endo removed in nov 06. So overall unexplained. 1

Hi!
My DH and I were supposed to be an easy case - that was what we were told. He had a vasectomy reversal that wasn't successful but there was some sperm to work with so they figured that ICSI would solve our problem. Well, we kept getting either chemical pregnancies (3) or BFN (2) - this last cycle was the only one that we had frosties to use.
At our last review appointment, we asked the doctor whether my DH should have a SCSA/DNA fragmentation test done because of the vasectomy reversal (we had found some research linking the two). She was kind of reluctant saying that it was unlikely - I guess because our embies were 'so beautiful' - but she ordered the test. The results just happened to arrive the day of transfer.
So, in doing research on the results, I found that our chances of getting pregnant are really low. It also said that embryos with fragmentation may implant and then miscarry early - which has happened to me. So, it definitely explains things.
But now I feel like I am starting over. I called my clinic today to ask them how to start to look into donor sperm (that is how convinced I am that this isn't going to work) and was told that we have to meet with a psychologist, then pick our donor, etc. More waiting. I guess that is why I am feeling down. If we could jump back into it I would feel better but it is now going to be several months - assuming this doesn't work.
Geez! Listen to me. My husband is still hopeful that this will work but then again he hasn't read the research I have.

2ndtimer, I am so sorry that you aren't sleeping. The night is supposed to be your break from thinking of all this stuff! I hope you get a better sleep tonight!

Stressball, sounds as though you are feeling good! I am glad to hear it! I would love some twinges but so far nothing. We'll see!

Vlada, can't wait to hear what your numbers are!

My doctor called and my beta is 85, he said that it is a very stong number, i think it will be one baby , but everything can change. I can't go for my second BW untill Monday, because they are closed on Saturday  , hopefully it will quadruple by then.
Kelly,
All of my embies had a lot of fragmentation, so you never know.
Thank you guys for your support, it means a lot to me!!!!

Hi Everyone,
It's amazing what a good night's sleep will do for you! I'm feeling much better today.
Vlada CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!! I'm so happy for you! You're "officially" pregnant. You must be on cloud nine. Don't worry about the next blood test. 85 is great & it's sure to double/triple.
Stressball, are you getting your blood test this Sunday? Mine isn't until 8/31. Let me know how it goes. I'm actually scared to death to do a HPT because I've seen so many negative. I'd rather get the call.
Kelly, I've been thinking about you. Hope you're doing OK & hanging in there.

Hey guys , thank you for your support!!!!
Well, i can't enjoy it quite yet, my doc called me again yesterday and said that my progesterone and estorgen levels are low, so he put me on projesterone shots instead of suppositories, i went for blood work today again to see if my levels are going up, if they don't than it is not good, but i am hoping for the best, this baby has to pull through!!!!
I will let you know about the results as soon as i get them.
Stressball and 2ndtimer, don't you worry about hpt being negative, you never know, i was sure my beta would be at least around 500 or so and it is 85 and my hpts were positive since day 8, and other people had all of their hpt negative and ended up with twins, please hang in there!!!!

I've been forgetting to write a short bit about the whole TTC thing. Here it is: I'm 38 & my DH is 39. We've been married for 7 years & basically TTC the whole time, although the 1st couple of years we weren't that serious about it, we just didn't use birth control. Also I had to work nights for the 1st 3 years so I always thought we just weren't timing it right. DH has a 13yo daughter and I have an identical twin who can get pregnant anytime she wants. We're also both pretty healthy & active people. So.... after about 3 years & no baby we got tested & found out that DH's fertile shelf life was very short and got the diagnosis of Male Factor. Had the 1st IVF cycle & were given excellent chances. I made of ton of eggs, got mild OHSS, but no baby. The FET after that was the same story. After a couple of years of saving$, looking at other options like adoption, we changed MD's & decided to go for it again. After much extensive testing & 2 hysteroscopies, we qualified for a "refund" program that allows us to go through 3 fresh IVF cycles & any FET's in one year or most of our $ back. I went through the 1st IVF in April, responded very well again but BFN. Now I'm doing the FET with the 3 embies. If this doesn't work I guess we'll do IVF again around October. I'm really, really hoping this works needless to say.
And that's my story so far....

Hey Vlada...

My doc is keeping at PROG 23 and EST 475 so we're pretty much in the same ball park with those numbers. I haven't had bleeding (expect for implantation spotting) or cramping (except for the normal implantation cramps early on) so I assume my numbers are good. Your numbers weren't "bad" before its just that they like to see prog over 20.nThe placenta, once its finished developing, will provide a much higher number and you won't even need the hormones...

2ndtimer and Stressball... I am sending sticky vibes and baby dust!!! Lots and lots... and remember, the only way you lose is to quit the race...
