Heisable - I'm so sorry...I can't even begin to imagine your pain. But try to find hope and comfort in your obviously loving family...and wonderful new puppy. We're here whenever you need or want to chat. Take care of yourself. AJ
Heisable- I am so sorry to read about your news...
Ladies, I had to crash your thread and wish congrats to my girl Pumma. We were on the dec/jan 07 thread together, and I am so glad to see your good news. I get so excited when I see the familiar names with great news. Your symptoms are just like mine were. I just did not want to eat, nothing was appetizing to me. I actually lost weight until about 5 or 6 months. I gained a huge amount my last month and it was almost all fluid retention. My beautiful girl was born on 8/26 and is almost 3 months old. If you would like to see her, you can visit her website. Go to Ellamichele.shutterfly.com (type it just like it is, no www in the front)
I will continue to follow your story, answer any questions anyone might have. Congrats to all of you ladies on making it to this point in this crazy journey...

CT_Michele: so great to hear from you. i checked out your little baby on the website and oh yes she is soooo cute. i am so excited for you! her birthday is very close to my son's which is 8/31. i am glad you "crashed" our thread, it's always great to know where our "old" cycle buddies are.
hello to everybody else, i hope things are well with all of you.
Thanks CT_Michele for the offer to answer any questions we might have.
I did have my 8 week ultrasound this past Friday. It went very well. My baby's heart beat was 169 beats/minute and he/she measured exactly right at 8 weeks 3 days. The other sac has collasped and dissolved but the clot is still there. But, my RE did say that the clot is half the size when compared to two weeks ago.
My RE asked me to return in two weeks for my 10 week ultrasound and then at 12 weeks i will be turned over to my regular OB doc !
I realize this is a bit of a touchy subject...but anyone feeling a little "blue" once in a while? Or maybe it's more of fear than "blue"... We told my dad last night about being pregnant and then I had horrible dreams last night of losing the baby. I'm starting to think that the reality of telling people (we're telling the rest of our family at Thanksgiving) is a little scary to me... Is that silly?
For the first few weeks I was fine...not really worrying at all. It's like the farther I get into the pregnancy, the more I am worrying about all the things that can go wrong and about all the unknowns. I know this isn't good for me or the baby...just not sure how to fix it.
ajdec, i don't think your feelings are out of the ordinary. just keep on thinking positive thoughts, we have made it so far and i am sure we'll all make it to the end. keep thinking positive, keep thinking positive.
happy thanksgiving.
angela, congrats on your 8 week ultrasound. it's just amazing isn't it?
i will be going back next tuesday for my 10 week us, the doctor initially did not really want to do one, but i asked him, then i will be released to my regular obgyn.
i am also thinking about prenatal testing right now, but am having a hard time deciding. oh well, ...
Whoo hoo...PMA is back! lol Had our 9 week scan today and saw our little baby moving around! Such a cool experience. For some reason, that affected me more than hearing the heartbeat. Just seeing it wiggling really made it real for me.
I have had a rough two days yesterday and today. I had lunch with my manager yesterday at a restauarant and my stomach didn't agree with what I ate. About two hours later, my stomach was turning in cirlces, but my day was not over. I had dinner scheduled with some of my doctors that I call on last night and in the middle I started feeling severe cramping and shooting pain but no spotting. I came home and layed down and took some medicine and finally got relief. When I woke up this morning no spotting but I called my RE anyway and they told me to keep and eye on it. So I went to work and when I came home I noticed SPOTTING with a few clots. But, my RE said on Friday (at me last ultrasound) and he said that I might have a little more spotting and pass a few clots as the clot has not totally resolved yet. My RE told me to call them in the morning and update them. I hope I start to feel better...! Needless to say it really scared me and I am just praying my baby is alright! I desperately need to get one of those dopplers...!
Angela - What a scary couple of days! I can't imagine! I certainly hope everything goes okay and the baby is fine. I am thinking about you! Take it easy and try to have a quiet Thanksgiving...
angela, please keep us posted on what's going on. just try to keep up the pma and i am sure things will be okay for you and your little baby. and, take it easy over the holidays. i will be thinking about you.
Thank you to everyone who wished me good luck. Today, I stayed home from work and felt a lot better and I still have the nausea, which is good...! It's strange that we look for the unpleasant feelings but it works for us.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO EVERYONE AND YOUR LITTLE ONES ON THE WAY!!
Thanks for asking... I am doing well. The cramping stopped and I had an uneventful holiday weekend ! I will have my 10 week u/s this Friday. So my DH and I are really looking forward to seeing our little one again.
Hey ladies,
Hope everyone had a relaxing holiday and didn't eat as much as I did.
I got on the scale at my 12 week check up today and I just looked at the nurse. She said, "oh it's just the holidays!" I came home and went walking. My appointment went great. The babies were active. One of them looked like he/she was kicking the other. They looked for the fluid (whatever the term) to tell if they are down syndrom. They concluded that they do not have the symptoms. I'm doing a 4D on December 22. They are going to put the results in an envelope and we're putting under the tree for XMAS. Exciting.
Anyone showing. I think thanksgiving gave me a significant push in that direction. I walked into my girlfriends tonight in my stretch pants and she goes, "WOW! You're showing!!!!!!!"
Angela, Hope you're feeling better.

It is so nice that you are still able to walk outside! Here in Ohio it is between 20 to 30 degrees and snowing. I am still on exercise restrictions, which is very difficult on the weekends but I couldn't walk outside if I wanted to !
How is the weather for everyone else?
Because the weather has been extremely cold one day and then warm the other I have caught my husband's cold on top of everything else. I know you ladies are like, Angela always has something going on in her world. And it is so true. Why me ????
