Good morning ladies!
IT'S FRIDAAAAAAAAAAY!

:D:D:D:D Lots of exciting things planned for tonight and the weekend! A nice date with my favorite guy tonight (DH will go out with colleagues/friends), tomorrow I was supposed to have some wax done but my hair is just so slow to grow back there isn't enough so I'll use the apt to have a pedicure instead (gah!!) and my yoga teacher whom I totally fell in love with in 2008 replied to me email and she agreed to give me a private lesson and make me a personalized yoga program that I can do at home every morning. It looks like we'll have a sunny weekend so we'll spend lots of time outside planting seeds in our garden. LIFE COULDN'T BE SWEETER!
THANK YOU for all your AF vibes and dancing, the evil witch showed herself yesterday evening. I've called the clinic and I'm waiting their confirmation for the u/s apt on May 5th. FET should be on the 8th... I'll confirm it for the list when the clinic calls.
Bei,
YOUR LIST IS AWESOME!!!!!!

:D:D:D I really love it! Tiger, thanks for the initiative, it's great for keeping track of everybody's situation. Oh, by the way, you can put me in the frozen peas section: I'm doing an FET cycle!

I have already started my meds, to answer your question; as of today, thanks to AF I'm on Suprefact, aspirin, estrace (estrogen) and dyoxin (antibiotics).
purplefish,
LOL, yeah, cold don,t kill us but they sure make our life miserable! (((HUGS))) Hum, targets on your bottom, huh? Do you think using a blue or pink marker makes a difference? Maybe they could even draw concentric hearts, to make it cuter!

Congrats on your pre-stims check!

Ooook, OHSS. I had it with my second IVF. Your doctor is right about pregnancy making it worse, but not all doctors choose to end the cycle. When I showed signs of OHSS on transfer day, the doctor examined me and gave me the choice. He said that OHSS didn't change the chances of implantation, but that the symptoms would steadily get worse for about three weeks, and then they would go away. It was a tough call, but I chose to go ahead with ET. I didn't become pregnant, but I know women who did. Some of them had to be hospitalized; mild OHSS isn't so bad, that's what I got, but severe OHSS is very serious. In my case, I had to drink lots and lots of Gatorade after I was diagnosed. The electrolytes help you eliminate more, and that's how your body gets rid of the excess liquid in your abdomen. I was very bloated, I had to urinate very often, my abdomen was not really sore (I had a bit of residual soreness from ER), but I was out of breath given that my lungs couldn't expand as much (my diaphragm was a bit blocked by the liquid). Everything went away in a matter of days given that I wasn't pregnant. So it all depends on how much your hormones react to the stimming. We knew from my first cycle that my estrogen didn't have the tendency to flare up crazily the minute you give it a chemical push, so that's why I chose to go ahead with ET. If your doctor decides right away to play it super safe, cancel the cycle and freeze your embies, it's really disappointing, but there is a silver lining. Some women become pregnant more easily with FET, because there are less meds and medical interference than with IVF. I became pregnant with all my FETs, and if this one works, I'll have 100% success rate. So yeah, it would be super frustrating and as you to be even more patient, but if you avoid a hospital stay and become pregnant with FET, it's worth it!
mcfarland,
Ooooooh your sister is getting married, how nice! I hope you'll have lovely weather!!! Are you very involved in the ceremony? Let us know about it if you feel like it! I'm glad your FET experience is going well, it does feel way more relaxed than a full IVF cycle.
Tiger,
Hi there, don't worry about the list, that bbcode is really tricky! I keep struggling with glitter graphics when I want to congratulate someone and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't and I don't always figure out why. Unnerving! I've done several lists before and believe me, it's a big responsibility! You have to read each post very carefully to keep the list updated... It's really nice of bei to take charge of it!
tryn,
Hi!

It looks like I'm just a few days ahead of you in my FET cycle. I hope we'll both sail through pregnancy together; our due dates will be real close!
Anissa,
How are you doing sweetie?
rypell,
Doing the AF jig for you!
Kizmet,
(((((HUGS)))))) My thoughts are with you and your family. Sounds like lots of things are happening in your life right now, and I wish you all the support, love, and comfort you can get. *Re-HUGS*
Okay, have a lovely weekend girlies!

:D:D
