oh jamila just 6dpt after 3dt...my beta is next week on aug 4....it was just out of my curiousity that i took the HPT, but it gave me a very clear result though , negative...my DH said im crazy , testing too early...and not wait for the beta next week....

DJ-BJ Hard as it is, try to relax and distract yourself...and try to stay positive. It is really too early to "know" anything...too early for symptoms, too early to POAS....I went batty those 2 weeks myself!!! And now I am going batty in Beta Hell wondering and worrying if my levels will rise, but really the best thing we can do is try to relax. (My DH is doing a great job trying to get ME to follow that advice. ). I am sending positive messages and prayers your way!!

im in limbo too...just couldnt get my hands off a pregnancy kit! so i did test my urine this am 6dpt ...but to my dismay it turned out BFN!!!! so i dont know ..i dont wanna expect it on wed when i do my blood test....maybe not lucky this time.... ...so sad today!

DJ-BJ - It is really too early for you to be testing w/ a HPT. I have attached what happens to your embryo after a 3 day transfer, which I think your signature says you had. It evens gives you an idea when it is safe to test w/ a HPT. So keep the faith!

**this is what happens in a 3dt :
**transfer day
1dpt ..embryo is growing and developing
2dpt... Embryo is now a blastocyst
3dpt....Blastocyst hatches out of shell on this day
4dpt.. Blastocyst attaches to a site on the uterine lining
5dpt.. Implantation begins, as the blastocyst begins to bury in the lining
6dpt.. Implantation process continues and morula buries deeper in the lining
7dpt.. Morula is completely implanted in the lining and has placenta cells &
fetal cells
8dpt...Placenta cells begin to secret HCG in the blood
9dpt...More HCG is produced as fetus develops
10dpt...More HCG is produced as fetus develops
11dpt...HCG levels are now high enough to be immediately detected on
HPT

Margi26 thank you, you know I lost 4 pregnancies and 1 BFN, now I understand that driving yourself crazy is not going to help, I believe that our husband are the lukiest husband on this world, because no matter if it is female issue or male issue we are the one who have to take all these shots and pressures physically and mentally. We do what we cand do and the rest is on god's hand. being positive and having hope is the only way to help deal with this road of infertility, take it easy and may god bless each and everyone of us with healthy babies.

thanks angel....your information is really helpful, and made me think not to be too crazy about it...whats 5 more days to wait for the beta...then we'll see what happens..just weird that i dont have any cramps or bleeding like the others had....but who knows....

Hi Ladies, Woke up this morning with some spotting and have had on and off cramping the past week anyone else experience this? I am 9 days post transfer.

Leorira: Happy birthday!! Relax you are too early for symptoms.

Jamila: Awesome beta doubling! I almost feel like your are stalking me and my cycle. We are so close together.

Summit: I have had mild cramping all along and that is supposed to be a side effect of the progesterone. I read somewhere that bleeding is very common in IVF through the first semester as a result of one of the hormones. I haven't had any bleeding so far.

DJ-BJ: Try to be patient. It is too early. I also used HPT's becuase I was impatient. You did test too early but now you know the trigger is out of your system so if you do try again in a few days then the BFP is real. But I have heard of many negatives even on beta day.

Margi: Good luck on the next beta! Hope your little one is off to a slow and steady start.

dlk You are right can you believe it if we have our deliveries at the same time? I am so happy that we are close each other on this road, I cannot believe we will be talking about designing our nurseries choosing colors and everything I so glad to have you on this trade.

Summit I had and still having lots of cramping on this cycle, but sorry about the sppoting I heard like dlk said that it is side effect of ivf, they say specially brown is sign of implatation , but I know for a fact my cousin allways had sppoting during both her pregnancies, but she have 2 healthy girls, so let your MD know and take it easy things will be fine.

okay - I'm a bad person. I couldn't wait. 5dp5dt HPT = BFN. I'm not letting it get me down yet. I'll test again in a few days. My beta isn't until Aug 8 (12dp5dt).

My birthday was good. No drinking, but still good!

Hopefully I'll be picking nursery colors with the rest of you!

Yes, I am wondering if it could be implantation bleeding. I did not experience spotting during my last IVF cycle so I guess it could potentially be a good thing. The spotting has been more of a brownish color instead of pink which could be from implantation??? Who knows if it continues today I will contact my nurse tomorrow.

On a side bar I am headed to the beach for a few days so I will be out of the loop a bit. Everyone have a great week and good luck to everyone with betas this week. I will touch base when I return.

thanks marg, when the RE told me, it didn't sink in yet, but i already had thoughts about it cause i never had symptoms no cramping no spotting just bbs are sore ...but when i hang up the phone..i cried...a lot...but now im better...i'll see my RE 2 weeks from now and expect AF to come anytime this week....

I after my second Beta my MD said no more blood work, which was 7/30/10 and it was 185, well today I request one more 4 days after the second as of today my beta is 1,588 the nurse said that it very very good and my progestrone level is greater than 40 very good also. I am and excited now waiting for my first u/s 8/13/10.
