Today was much easier, I let my co-worker help me more with the teller-line, and she made the difference. Picked up my prescriptions for the upcoming surgery. Yet, now 15 days late way overdue for AF to come and never been this late ever in my life. I'm just hanging on and "waiting it out". My specialist's assistant told me this can happen when over-stressed. She told me since both hpt were negative on Monday, I should call them when AF does come. I'm trying not to think too much into it, but maybe that birth control from December has my cycle completely out of wack?
It was fun at first because dh wouldn't let me test, but then Monday came...

oh no I broke down and did it, went back to CVS tonight for more hpt, but the girls at work are proud of me for waiting this long to test again. It's tough not knowing what next week will bring, with the surgery and all...

So the most shocking thing happened on Friday. I lost my job, even my own boss was shocked, since this was a corporate decision from way up. None of us feel that branch will be making it much longer and let's face I brought work home so much! The stress really wasn't worth it and probably why I almost missed my last AF. I was 16 days late, and never ever been late like that before. Today I got on dh's insurance, Thankfully! I was afraid surgery would have to be cancelled, but b/c we got everything arranged today, coverage kicks in the first day of March! My clinic was shocked that I answered my cell phone, since I never do since usually I'm at work this time of the day. They're wanting me to come in Thursday for Preoperative surgery and drink that fluid that will make you want to stay very close to the bathroom! Thankfully I'm not working right now so I can focus on making something happen, but it does feel weird you know not working...It's all I've done my whole life is work but maybe something part-time would be better? Don't know, I'm applying for an administration job at the college, and 3 other positions in town, either in business administration or possibly sales rep. I would love to work in sales promotions/marketing field. For now I'm heading outside, work in the garden and try to make some seeds grow, so ironic don't you think? lol

Thanks Kynlee,
I am sending out an email tonight to see if the position has been filled. If only I had known, I wouldn't of gone on that business trip and just taken that job interview on Monday. Wow, it was shocking news, and even my own manager wasn't aware of it until the very day it all happened. He did say he would put in a good word for me if I need him for a reference. I was more concerned about my insurance, I even told dh the medical benefits were the only reason why I was hanging onto this job. Well it turns out his is actually better. Premiums are higher, but the deductible is affordable so I'm going to take advantage of them as much as I can! Speaking of that I need to get those taxes filed, but I wanted to ask you if you've done yours yet? Were you able to write off anything for IVF? I don't have a bill, but only a sheet the clinic gave me with a breakdown of the cost associated....Worth looking into!

Now you won't believe this "clear liquid diet" right before Laproscopic Surgery.... I was at the grocery store today trying to avoid meats and solid foods, do you know HOW hard it was walking away from the meat section? lol I had to text my doctor to try to get someone to elaborate and just now googled to find out what exactly a clear liquid diet looks like, but I'm thinking how can this be, really? No way!

Breakfast:
One glass fruit juice
One glass water
One cup broth
One bowl gelatin

Snack:
One cup coffee or tea (without cream)
One bowl gelatin

Lunch:
One glass fruit juice
One glass water
One cup broth
One bowl gelatin

Snack:
One ice pop (without fruit pulp)
One cup coffee or tea (without cream) or soft drink

Dinner:
One cup juice or water
One cup broth
One bowl gelatin
One cup coffee or tea

Seriously my can of tomato soup only has 80 calories...This is going to make me delirious, thankfully I'm off from work. Wait did I mention something about a laxative? (sorry I know tmi.)

Sunshine- Best of luck on the jb hunting... ANd omg I would starve on that liquid diet, how many days you on that 2??? Yes I did my taxes, I couldnt submit the ivf expense cause they take my pay and my DH and it has to be some kind of % of what we make and it wasnt if it were based on mine alone it would be so unfair but that's life... I would ask your Tax guy every state may be different...

Thanks Kynlee, the clear liquid diet is for 2 days! With a very high metabolism, pray that I don't pass out today when I go to CVS to pick up my meds for tomorrow. How is everything going your way? I read about the way the legwork and craziness you had to go threw to get the Lupron shipped. Clinics should keep backstock of meds for emergencies like this afterall, it's so important to keep you on Drs protocal. I really cannot wait to hear how your ultrasound goes this upcoming Monday!

Will have to call H&R Block to see what can be done. I usually do my own taxes with Turbotax, but don't want to get nailed.
Thanks for you advice!

Well my surgical center just called for an interview, almost scaring me to death about what they might potentially find tomorrow. The paperwork has to be signed prior to surgery and if something is wrong with a tube he could possibly either go in there to fix it or COULD remove it. I shouldn't worry too much since I had a HSG done in 11/09 and everything was fine with the tubes then. Maybe this lack of eatting is making me completely dilarious. I'm going to try to work on taxes, after I have that glass of water and jello for breakfast.

Well Just-so-lost really put the sunshine in my day. I'm still thinking about what happened earlier :D
Plus I just received a screening application for a job with Wells Fargo. I did apply for part-time, since I know how hard it was working and trying to meet for appointments. I really think this would give me a happy work/family balance. For now I must run and get some clothes together for our trip to Pensacola tonight. My belly is literally on fire right now, but glad I'm not in the bathroom lol

Laproscopic surgery went over well. No issues with endometriosis, or block tubes or any cyst, which gives us peace of mind. Anyone who decides to go through this surgery should know in a long run, it's worth it. It narrows out alot of possibilities with diagnosis. Our next appointment with RE is set in 3 weeks right before next cycle.

Kynlee,
I know everytime we hear good news like this, it only give us much hope for another's upcoming cycle, which for you my friend is coming up very soon! I can hardly wait to get started again, because it only brings us this much closer! DH and I talked this morning about an upcoming appt...Our doctor will call Monday or Tuesday to check on how I'm feeling, and then set a date for us to come in. I can hardly wait to get the ball rolling. :D We now think he may suggest testing the quality of my eggs, with the next IVF cycle. But it's hard to say for sure since we've only been through one IVF. Usually during the first and second cycle, the doctor is tweeking and trying new things for the third cycle to work. Anyway, I look forward to hearing more good news and finding out how your next u/s on Monday goes Grow Follicles Grow!

Day 2 (after surgery) and I have been moving around alot more this evening..thought it would make me feel better. So after I cleaned the kitchen and even scrubbed the stainless steele stovetop clean, I started bleeding and I'm seeing some tissue. So it's almost like another period, but maybe it's just surgery aftermath? My husband says I should be squeaky clean, with all the plumbing taken care of. But seriously, was really hoping the bleeding was over with so I could break out the opk again. Doctor said we should wait 5 days, and that would put me on cd12. Thankfully the pain on the right shoulder has subsided. More than anything, I am amazed that I'm not going to have a noticable scar. It's a tiny incision inside my belly button, but nothing major.

Also I just got off the phone with my SIL and told her my whole experience with the surgery. She said just be glad you don't have to live with endometrosis. She has suffered so much endometriosis, along with several complications problems such as irregular shaped uterius, with cyst on her left ovary. Anyway she had a successful IVF last year and truly knows IVF was her only way. God does perform miracles, she keeps telling me this is going to happen for us, she just knows it. I cannot help but be a tiny bit jealous, because I would anything to be in her shoes. I wouldn't mind the pain or suffering to live with endo, if it could mean I could still have a child. Maybe I'm not seeing this clearly, but we know medicine has become so advance. I know we have to move forward and not look at the past if we want this to happen. So I pray something will happen before my 35th birthday this year. That's only 4 months, 9 days away, now thinking I'm getting a little impatient...

For now, we're making some plans to come home in 2 weeks for my grandmother's 90th birthday! That's why I called my SIL tonight for us to get together, along with my other brother and their 2 kids. What's so crazy about the whole thing is that SIL reminded me tonight that Baby Will is going to be 4 months old in 2 weeks. I was like you've got to be kidding me, I haven't even met him yet! My dh feels guilty that we're coming home and meeting our newest nephew. He still blames all of them on himself that we don't have kids. I was like is this always going to be a competition? There are some things in life we just cannot control, but like I said before we cannot dwell on the past, and blame ourselves for what happened. What good would that do? Therefore, let's stop looking back, so we can move forward, and most importantly--with God in control make something good happen. He is so good...ALL the time!

ok, I want to know who invited the golfer spam to our forum? Will have to message, Marcus our head board person tonight! Anyway, today was a quiet day overall. My clinic did call, looks like my next appt with RE will be in 3 weeks. Spring break begins next week down here, so have lots of family coming next Tuesday and then I'll head home to see more family. I have been applying for more jobs today and have another one to apply to tomorrow at the college. My brother tells me I should take a break and try to enjoy some off time, but I've been working since I was 13 and so this is a HUGE adjustment. Next week will be the week to enjoy lots of family, so this week I'm giving it all I've got with more applications knocked out!

Just finished applying for 2 more jobs today. Dh wants to meet him for dinner tonight...Surely beats eating pasta again! Seriously need to go grocery shopping, not so favorite chore. :P Went to Urgent Care this morning, got a spider bite from working out in my garden...First thing the doctor asked when he walked through the door, so is it on your butt? I was like it's not so bad, since I think you'll like these panties. haha just kidding! Guess we have to have some humor, while dh kills me for it! I was thinking okay nothing more than a shot, but instead he really squeezed my left upper thigh so hard and got the poison out. He asked about my last surgery and what the laproscopic surgery was for. For some reason I couldn't stop talking and this guy now knows my entire medical history.... Told me to come back on Friday if I need something changed with the antibiotics he prescribed. Anyway this was my excitement for Tuesday morning. I seriously need a job!
