So you're not eating a ton of cabbage--just a cup of tea! And I had a VERY speedy recovery from the retrieval.

As for our transfer, the embryos had NO growth from day 2 to day 3, but they put them in anyway. 4 cell grade B, 5 cell grade C, 2 cell with no grade. So things don't look great, but trying to remain positive and know that miracles can happen. At the very least, I have faith that we can attempt another cycle with another protocol and still use my eggs.

I've never tried reflexology--sounds NICE! My husband thinks we should move to Israel to get all of this stuff paid for.

My husband just sent me word we are headed to Germany in Sept after he comes home from Afghanistan in May!!!! I think that will make IVF alot easier as far as expenses I pray since we don't have the funds to do another cycle here right now!!!! wow i'm excited anyone know anything about IVF in Germany on Tricare Europe military insurance??????????

I haven't been on the forum or internet for days either. Congrats on you guys being transferred to Germany! Does it mean your DH will constantly be there and you'll be more together? DOES THIS MEAN i MAY GET A VISIT??? I have a good friend of mine (she's German but we knew each other in Norway) who has done a successful IVF. I will definitely ask her about you. I know she now lives in Hamburg (they have an against all odds gorgeous baby!!! - there was only one egg, yet they made it!!!) I'm so excited for you too.

P.S. Starting stims tomorrow...

Dee - How are you girl? Sorry I have been so busy. Crazy stuff including DH left today for a long trip, will be gone for most of the time I'll be on stims. I'll write more, here and on FB.

Sorry I havent been on here... But Me and the DH took us a little get away this weekend just to relax we didnt think about ANYTHING!!! it was so nice... so let me catch you guys up..... My estrogen is very high!!!! like 1600... and good news my pre op is tomorrow and my RE is Wednesday.... I CANT BELIEVE IT!!! Remember few days ago we didnt think I would get this far... God Is Good....... I hope everyone is doing welll.

Kay---wonderful news on starting stims tomorrow or today now for you I guess with our crazy time zones!!!!
I certainly hope that means he will not get deployed anywhere else while we are over there but who knows with the Army anything is possible. I truly believe that it will certainly mean a visit....How EXCITING visit with new friends, cheaper IVF, travel to Israel, and new experiences in several different cultures!!!! I can't wait I wish it was sooner than September but I am just grateful for the opportunity. We need prayer that our house will sell without too much issue or problems. The housing market around army bases like Ft. campbell where we are, are pretty good still and with all the soldiers coming home from Afghanistan we are hoping it will sell fairly quickly!!!!

Dee--Awesome news on the ER for Wednesday sending mature follicle prayers and fertilization prayers your way girl!!!!!! Your numbers sound great!!!!! My classes are cancelled due to the snow for my area tomorrow so no exam Yahoo!!!! two more days to study for accounting exam.

Rph-How are you feeling did they put you on bed rest?

Kamina-hope you do get that positive it would be so wonderful!!! I still don't understand all these meds my doctor told me that my period should start within a few days of stopping all the estrogen, delestrogen, and prometium but It has not and I truly feel like I am ovulating?????? which wouldn't really surprise me because my estradiol levels 8 days after ER were still over 3000 which I thought indicated Follicle growth so I think I had more growing after the ER. Really wish DH was home now so we could at least try!!!!!! I know the odds are so against a natural BFP but it doesn't stop us form trying!!!! God does wonderous things at the most remarkable times just to prove He can!

Hey ladies,

Just got back from work.

Me - waiting for Feb 11th to take preg test. Rx Estridol and prometrium.

So not much going on for me. Just workin and waiting. I am getting use to the estridol. Wow, I have never felt better. No longer do I feel dizzy or loopy. I wonder if my homones were out of wack all this time.

I have wondered that very same thing, when I am on that stuff I do feel better and even my slight acne problem gets better when I am on all the hormones and stuff and I was so afraid it would get worse not better....Go firgure?

Had bed rest for 2 days after the transfer and took an extra day off of work just to relax (and catch up on laundry). I THOUGHT bed rest would be relaxing but man--it gets uncomfortable doesn't it? Go in tomorrow for a blood test for estrogen/progesterone (any of you know if those numbers mean anything at this point???) and then my beta is on the 16th.

Wow! Do you know where in Germany yet? I hope they do pay....I think almost everywhere pays more than the U.S! TIckets to Israel should be cheap from there. I know it's a long shot for a natural baby but anything's possible and it's always so much more fun trying that way

How are the stims going? Do you ever get to go with DH on all his trips? What does he do again?

rph - they can't really judge by E2 and Prog. levels at this point anything regarding a pregnancy, especially since because of the IVF cycle those numbers will be related to the meds. What they can determine is if you'll be needing to have to dosage adjusted. Crossing my fingers and any other body part that may help before the grand 16'th!!!When will you guys be here again? DH is a marketing director, he's a lot in south Africa, Kenya and other beautiful places. I always wanted a safari trip with him but this will have to wait now cause I can't get the vaccines at this point. We went to Paris when he was there for an exhibition last June. It was amazing.

Amanda - yay, listen to rph! Cheap way from Germany over here!!! I'll be waiting for you. Maybe we'll both be pregnant then:)

Kamina - I also like Amanda get better skin while on stims. But. There was something small, kinda a zit look alike growing on my chest while on stims in October. DH was overwhelmed but I sent him on a guilt trip saying it was related to the injections:) Yet I think it truly was. Other than this today I feel alright, I injected "only" 150 with the preloaded stim pen, so that should be better than the 187.5 I received daily last cycle.

Hey Amanda - I didn't see you wrote to me before. You should really be excited! Germany, most of it, is a beautiful country. And most of it is also truly European, still and therefore very different! I am TOO curious about WHERE in Germany. You'll be 3 hours flight away....hint.
I have been busy with similar issues, we want to move and thought selling our place will be easier, but begin to understand it may not..huff. I need prayers aimed for this as well. Wanna move out of the center! I need to have fresh air!There's a lady coming to see our place in 2 hours! Wish me luck! No?! Well you must be asleep then. At least when in Germany we'll be more in tune:)

just got up from resting after my ER.... they got 12 eggs total.. will know tomorrow how they are growing...please pray!
Im cramping some and kindy nausea but doing rather good from that.. My hubby has done so good taking care of me. Im trying to rest n maybe feel some like getting out tomorrow.... my belly is soo bloated:-(... lol and i cried whn I came out of surgery.. how crazy is that??? crazy hormones.....

Rph--- Good Luck..... keep us updated on the blood work tomorrow... Im going to school to be a elementary teacher:-)

Dee--that is wonderful news 12 eggs is great!!! Are you going to be doing a 3day ET or 5, or does it just depend I forget if you said already. I will certainly be praying you have wonderfully mature eggs that fertilize perfectly. Glad you are not feeling to bad and that you are feeling like you will be up and about tomorrow. I cried when they came in to tell me how many eggs they got I was so excited and emotional!!!!! Keep us updated, can't wait to hear the good news on the fertilization report!!!!!

rph--I know what you mean about the bedrest stuff!!! It is certainly NOT what it is made out to be!! Praying all your levels were good today, like we would know what that would be????, but hope they are exactly what they need to be for embies to be implanting!!!

Kay--We are so excited about Germany and all the prospects that come with it. I will certainly be praying for you all as well with selling your house!!! How long have you owned your home? How far away are you going to move?? I hope the woman who came to check out the house liked it, how did it go???? How is stimming going when do you have u/s to check on follicles?

AFM-- We recieved word that we are going to the base in Schweinfurt, Germany. I did a little research about IVF in Germany and the other countries that are close by and Czech Republic seems to have the cheapest prices for it but I don't know about the quality I have alot of research to do in order to make the best choice on where to start setting up our next cycle. The Czech Republic clinic that I found quoted the price being only 2,000-3,500 US dollars total, wow that is definitley a huge difference to the 13,000 is it here!!!!!!! I hope it will work out and I can get scheduled for Oct 2011 that is my goal it might be pushing it since we will just be getting there in early sept. but I don't want to put it off. I will be turing 35 in september and I was really hoping to be 35 and PREGNANT!!!!! Lord willing. My DH's dad is really taking our orders to Germany rather negatively he says he doesn't know that he will make it that long! That seems really eeerie to me for him to say that as if almost wishing himself dead in three years, he doesn't have alot of health problems either. He does have Diabeties but still it just seems odd for him to say that to his wife and kids. We will be in Germany for three years and hopefully we will have several children while we are there and have wonderful experiences meeting new friends and visiting all the wonderful places we will be so close to like paris, london, israel, austria, prague, and who knows where else. We did also find out that since my husband has joint custody of his two kids from his previous marriage the military will pay for them to come and visit one time each year that we are there and this is terrific news! We were really wondering how we would afford to bring them over and the IVF treatments as well. God is good, I'm very grateful He has made that provision for them to be able to come for the summer on the governments money!!!! My DH has a very tall (6 ft)13 year old boy Zach and a precious daughter who is 10, Alicen. I can't wait till DH gets home and we can start making all the arrangements!!!! He will be home the middle of May, so only three more months to go!!!!

Well out of 12 eggs 11 matured and 8 fertilized.....this is good right???? Thy said they will know how many will go to PGD by Saturday... so please PRAY... I need all 8 eggs to go to PGD... im doing the five day transfer!!!!

Dee--That is wonderful fertilization report!!!!! Absolutely Wonderful, and 5 day transfer sounds really good as well. I don't know what PGD stands for and I didn't see it in the list you posted for abbreviations?????? I hope you rested well and are feeling great. I pray things will continue to progress perfectly.
