Hi ellie, Yes, paste the code into your signature box. are you using this site, http://tickerfactory.com/Occasion/occasion.php ? If so, you copy the bbcode and paste it to your sig box. I find that if I have too much stuff in my sig box, I get a "signature too long" message. :x Also you have to cut out the first line with the tickerfactory web address in it. The ticker doesn't show up if that's there for some reason. Hope that helps. :)

Hi M'BA, I am starting to get a little anxious too. After getting a BFN I feel like I want this to work 10 times as much.
I was told to not excercise to hard during stimming and through to the end of 2ww or through entire PG, gentle exercise only. Your ovaries will become enlarged and be very tender. Harsh bouncing and pulling on them could cause pain or injury. Your ovaries won't actually shrink back to normal until a few months after retrieval. So you have to be careful for awhile. Jogging may be a little much, I hear that walking is fine, maybe speedwalking would be ok too. I believe yoga is fine to do. :)

Hey Claire, I'm doin the AF dance for you! Image Let me know if it works.

Hi Everyone,

M'BA I am so anxious too! This is my first attempted and I feel that the "unknown" is what is killing me the most. I have 5 more days until my appointment and I am praying that my RE will give me a start date.

Claire, I am hoping AF comes for you soon! You are so right when you dont want it, it seems to be right on time when you need it come it seems like forever.

Well I am just hoping these next five days fly by and I am hoping to have a new date for Hopeful to add to the beautiful list she has created for us! Hope everyone is doing good and I hope the time is going by a little faster for everyone!

Erin

Hi Angellica welcome to this site i guess there will be a few others who will be transfering about the same time. Are you on any meds at the moment or are you having a FET? I am soo pleased to be starting again but really anxious at the same time. I can see those storks forming an orderly well behaved queue at the doors already.

Mia thanks for the help with the ticker. It took a while but i finally got there.

Cheekymonkey i know what you mean especially about the washing up  I have hogged the computer all night and am having comments sent my way (Oh well). You are right about the taste but yes definatly worth it plus i have remembered last time a sweet helped take the taste away.

Claire hope you AF shows up soon so you can move on to your next stage.

Hello elliecat!

I am indeed on meds I am on day 3 of primolut and day 2 of buserilin injections...I have had a 3 year break and it is like starting over again! I am doing egg share for the 1st time so I want lots of eggs for us and them!! We do have 2 frosties but are saving them for a very rainy day...poor mites have been in there 5 years! we will use them in Nov if I have less than 8 eggs as I have agreed to give them to the recipient couple as the lady is a lot older (I requested they go to the oldest lady on the list due to time running out etc...) I had 14 & 16 before so am hopeful! My first scan is on the 19th Oct so will start stimulation hopefully then, I am so excited for everybody xxx :D

How did you do on the meds last time...I was positively evil! I WILL be fine this time! PMA!

Angellica
What an amazing thing you are doing by sharing your eggs, you must be a very kind and caring person.
I wonder if the meds you are on is the same type of thing i am starting, it stops my cycle until i start the stimulating meds which i think will probably about the 19th too. This is my second time at iCIS and i only discovered the site when i was on my 2ww so this time i can be in from the beggining and we can all share those hormonal moments together. :D

Ellie

I like to think of ED as gift, what you give out you get back and what greater gift then the potential to have a baby! I am such a believer in karma...what you give out you get back 3 fold! triplets would be great! I will be happy with 1! The primolut will stop my period, which will then re-start with avengeance after the 5 day course! The buserilin injections are the same as the nasal spray, I had that 1st time and didn't get on with it! I am having Gonal f as my stimulation drug.A menopausal partner, how exciting!!!

Hi all,

Welcome to all the new people that joined.Just wanted to give a little update. I got my med's delivered today. Since this is my first time with IVF I didn't know what to expect. They included in my package 1 Valium for before the ET. I almost took it now. This is crazy and not all the needles are little. I don't know how I am going to do this. Just one day at a time.
Image

I was talking to my sister. The thing that kills me about my family is they act like I'm already pregnant. Like that's it were fine and when is the baby shower. I tell them to stop thinking like it has already worked. I have to keep some doubt in my mind. I am optimistic and positive and feeling positive vibes. I take it all in steps. Very little steps. I just think they don't realize what it is like for me right now. No one in my family has ever had a problem having children. I got so mad at my mom last night but I think I have to let her do what she wants and not pay too much attention to it. Do you all think I am going crazy?

Erin- I'm right with ya on how you are feeling right now. The unknown is really killing me as well. I have so many thoughts going through my head about that I don't even know where to begin. Don't we all wish we could look through the crystal ball and see what the outcome will be. I wish It were that easy.
Image

Talk to you all later

Bubby101- I remember when I got my meds delivered, I almost fainted!! I never expected that much stuff!!! Honestly, take one day at a time, and just pull out the stuff you need at the time--mine worked well weekly. That way you don't get so overwhelmed. Your clinic will keep everything in order, and then you just find it in your HUGE box of meds

I know the whole family thing too. I am the first to ever have issues like this... come from a long line of they look at eachother and they are pregnant!!! Trust me, if they see the journey you have to take, they will get the picture! My family looked through my meds box, and realized how much was going on. They've also starting researching themselves what this is all about, and that has helped TONS!!! They are so understanding and helpful to me now. Maybe have them read a little bit about the struggle of it all, and that might help. Otherwise, just focus on yourself right now:) !!!

angellica, welcome to the thread. We are more than welcome to have you join us as a chatting buddy. We're all in this together and we really need each other's support to get through this process. People that haven't been through IVF before, including clinical people, just don't get it. I'm glad you joined us...

Bubby101, that's funny what you said about the valium. You would think they would send us at least a month's worth... I got my box of meds last week but they only sent me the Lupron and Prog oil. I get the rest when I go back to see my RE on the 11th. This is my first time too. I'm nervous about it but very anxious to get going with it.

Jeck - good luck with your ET tomorrow!!! Those embies are just waiting to snuggle in you for the next 9 months!!!

Families eh...you can't live with them and you would never cope without them, I remember when I started my 1st cycle my best friend who was not at all maternal fell pregnant with my twin Godchildren (I have 6, as everyone feels sorry for me!! ) even when IVF failed I was her birthing partner and I stayed strong, then my second cycle my eldest sister got pregnant and had an abortion!! my Grandparents didn't talk to me for 2 years as I refused to drive her to the abortion clinic!!! then my little sister popped in the day I started to tell me she is pregnant! they have only been trying 2 months.... :x :D all these things are sent too teach us!! When I look at it written don it does make me chuckle...the irony.......
