Just wanted to let my friends know about the progress.

I had a first glance of my little beanie today. More than anything I had a sigh of relief...and a guarantee that this is real. The baby measured 8mm and at 5 weeks. Everything is looking great by far. I go again on 29th. The wait seems forever.

Chris, Carolyn, Angel, Smita, Heather, Hope and all my friends...Thanks for all the support and prayers through my thick and thin. I don't know what would I do without you guys. I am not a very vocal person and don't discuss much with anyone especially about IVF not even with my DH...

. But knowing that I am not alone in this journey gives me so much strength. I thank God for this site and all my cyber friends here.

Sonu, seeing your beanie must have been wonderful. Next time you'll hear the heartbeat. Just have full faith in your clinic and yourself. Try not to read too much into anything and do try to relax.

Congrats Sonu! You know it only feels like yesterday when we were looking at just a little bean on the ultrasound. Now its a baby with arms and legs flapping around......time flies........enjoy your well deserved pregnancy!

Hello everyone -

I'm so sorry that I've been M.I.A. for so long. I have been working extra hours for a girl who is on maternity leave and who will return the favor for me in December. I've been trying to read to keep up, but haven't had much energy for posting since I'm on the computer nearly all day.

If I haven't said so, congratulations Sonu. (Sorry, I can't even remember if I said so or not)... So glad to hear that things are moving along smoothly! And Nikki is already 16 weeks! Wow.

That's great news.

I do send many prayers and much love to Heather and Kbat and Indie. I am sending you many hugs. Praying God brings you strength and encouragement.

Chris - thinking of you too... I read bits and pieces here and on the other thread. Praying that things work for you. I hope counseling is still doing much good for you. I think of you often - your simple, yet powerful signature is a symbol of hope and strength for all.

So what happened to the rest of our girls??! Mia is officially M.I.A.! I thought she'd be back on line after her Moldova trip. Is she still gone?? I hope all is well with her. And what of our Dean sisters?!?

Just a real quick update on me, everything is going well. Baby is growing like a WEED! If this BOY (yes, I said boy!) requires as many nutrients out of the womb, I'm going to have to take out a loan just to feed him! So, yeah, the m/s is over... though the acid reflux has not let up a single bit (small price to pay). I have been taking stronger meds (per my dr's approval) and they still don't always work. Oh well. I guess part of that is just what happens when my stomach sits under my breasts! And now I'm hungry practically all the time. I have eaten so much today and only felt content (tummy-wise) for about an hour today. Growing boys need lots o' food.

Sending hugs and baby dust by the boat-fulls out to all my favorite cyber-sisters...

Thanks Nic. I know the ups and downs and I really pray I see only ups from here.

So glad to hear that you are progressing so well. Must have been a great relief after reaching II trimester,

I read your post on the other board about the correct sleeping posture. It was truly informative and I am sure many doctors wouldn't care to give such an imp advise.

Take care and I would be sneaking in your other board to heck your progress. Don't forget to share with us the sex of the baby!!!

Thanks for the wishes. I know it always there so I wouldn't worry when it comes officially.

So happy to know that its a BOY!!! Must have started planning the nursery.

Hi Hope.....congrats on the BOY!!!!!!!! Thats so exciting.
Speaking of boys.....I'm fairly sure I'm having a boy. I check on ultrasounds at work from time to time and the last 2 at 15 and 16 weeks have looked like a boy. I have asked an OB doc at work if she'll do a better quality ultrasound for me on Saturday to check again. I'll be 17 weeks, so I'm hoping to see for sure if its a penis or just a misleading prominent clitoris we have been seeing. I was kinda hoping for a girl.....but God knows best...I trust HIM.

Yes, Nikki, you're right, God does know best!!! I had been hoping for a girl since our first IVF, but finally got to the point that while i wanted a girl, I really knew that I just wanted a healthy baby - didn't care about the gender at all! Since I have 3 stepsons, I figured a little more estrogen in the house would be a nice addition... funny, the two youngest boys really want a girl too. They said they have enough brothers! Go figure! I thought surely they'd want a boy. The 14 year old is still convinced they were wrong! (LOL) - I told him that usually when they are wrong, it's the other way around.

He was cute, though... said if it's a girl, we have to stop, no more babies, (thinking 4 is enough) but if it's a boy, we have his permission (ha!) to try again for a girl! Funny kids!

Hope both of you are feeling good and progressing nicely! 17 weeks,?! wow... somehow once we get here, it seems to fly by. I'm at 21 wks today. Sonu will be having an anatomy scan before we can blink an eye.

Hugs to you and all my other dear sisters out there. Sending up prayers daily for BFPs and healthy pregnancies and babies....

Just a quick update......we did get an ultrasound by a really nice OB doc at work yesterday and ITS A BOY! YAY.....now I get to shop, shop, shop!

WOW!!! It's crazy how many boys there are on this site!!! Beachbaby just had two and several others I know are having or have had a boy! Must be something blue in the "water"

Congratulations Nikki! Enjoy your shopping! I'm just getting started myself. I thought I'd have more fun shopping for a girl, but I'm finding that it's just great to be shopping at all.... healthy babies are what we want around here - pink or blue.

Praying for more and more BFPs - girls or boys!!!

Hope ....Your are almost half-way through.

So, October is it?
I am keeping my everything crossed for tomorrow's scan. I will get to hear/see my little ones heartbeat.

I really pray that it has worked for me this time. I have had very slight m/s and nothing really big. Just a bit nauseous here and there. Else, I feel perfectly normal, with some muscle pulls and twitches in the lower abdominal area.
This keeps me wondering if I am really pregnant??!!

(God know that I am...and HE is taking care of me.)
